The wood is junk. I was told to just ship it off anyways. The good wood will be on the outside, the bad wood will be on the inside. You are looking at %10 good, %90 bad products. The good wood will be on the outside, so you see only good. The inside is going to be junk, really.
You have to be kidding me,just washed my truck,why. Is it so hard to keep logging stuff out of shipping yard and not create all this mess,i got stuck in that 5ft mud ,bring your fishing boots with u to get. Loaded here
Overpriced?! These people leaving reviews must be plants paid by competition or something LOL. Columbia is known for their great prices, I've been buying from them from two decades and their product is just as nice as Hampton's but with a better price tag.
My only explanation could be these people are ending up with the outs and fall down but the retailer they're buying from is selling it as up to grade. Columbia sells a lot of outs and fall down, it's a great deal for distributors and retailers, but if you sell it as up to grade for full price to the customer they're not going to happy.
Great product for building :) PLUS the smell of Cedar is awesome :)
No complaints, treated me good. Be careful getting on scale. Very narrow and not straight on.
If I could give a lower rating than one star, I would. I Worked here for a little over nine years. They taught us to "cherry pack" the units of lumber. "Cherry packing " is simply putting good boards on the outside of the unit and putting all the bad boards inside the unit (boards with knot holes, sluff knots, rot, splits, etc.). So at first glance, the customer thinks they're getting a unit of really good wood, but when they get it home and get into the unit, they discover that 90% of the unit is bad boards. Columbia Cedar WILL NOT refund money or exchange bad boards for good ones.

I don't like crooked business owners who say one thing and then do another, altering a bid to their liking and not telling the people paying the bill. Dishonesty only happens once in business. I will not do business with these people ever again and I encourage those considering it to get a guarantee of every step in the process to see they follow their word.
The cedar siding I received could best be used for building pallets. Absolute junk. Do not waste your time/money on their product. I purchased their bevel siding from a lumber yard in Florida, and sure enough, as one other review states, the outside boards were the ONLY good ones in the bundle.
They suck very very hard,take away that star they don't deserve it,and they're. overrated and and over priced
Cherry packed garbage....beautiful boards on the outside and horrible ones inside. Look elsewhere for good cedar.
