Went to a show in the main hall with my disabled partner. Staff were helpful and showed us to lifts and to our reserved wheelchair space (wheelchair tickets must be booked directly with the venue). Great view from access platform at front of balcony. Parking in Trenchard street (behind the venue) was very busy but lifts to every floor meant there were no problems

Awesome venue. Big hall for the popular acts which is what most people think of. There's also The Lantern which is a smaller space for more intimate gigs which I personally prefer. Finally, there's a terrace bar thing which has random little events on which is great in summer.

Extremely busy. Easy to find where you are going if you know!
The bars/restaurants are not cheap.
There is nowhere to park apart from the NCP across the road which is not expensive but not cheap either. Not easy to navigate for disabled either.

As a concert venue it is a bit dated, although the more modern foyer area is more adequate. I seem to always have some difficulty hearing some performers the sound systems used do not always give the clearest sound - mind you that could also be my age.

Good venue. A little confusing as to what was what to start with. Good environment show was on in a dome. My two year old granddaughter enjoyed it. She was a bit scared of some really loud music coming from a children s rock band downstairs

Good show - won't be going again if they charge the name. (Which they will !) - I'm proud of my city and its heritage. Past times had different ideas and The Merchant Venturers did an awful lot of good for the *poor* people of Bristol !

This was such an amazing experience with sound quality that penetrates your ears magically. Brilliant spaces throughout the entire building which is due to be renovated over a two-year period. But no worries as all shows continue in partnering platforms within the vicinity.

Really great venue, great view of the stage, no obstruction, ild say all seating look to have a great view, big entrance and places for drinks can get busy so the fact it had space was a plus and great walking distance from Bristol City centre

This isn't a great concert venue. The main hall is a bit too big and soulless, but there is a nice cafe and bar and the toilets are clean and spacious. The best place to park is Trenchard Street multi-storey car park, just across the road.

Theatre very much showing its age but actually comfortable and quite intimate. Unusually, tickets state doors open time, not performance start time. Main act didn't arrive on stage until 2 hours later.

Iconic music venue, seen performances in few different areas of the venue and all have had good acoustics and views, good selection of bars and places for food either at the venue or close by. Good parking either behind the venue (gets busy leaving after gigs) or a short walk to Cabot Circus.

Great venue! I attended the breaking convention here and it was amazing! Has a downstairs bar providing crisps, drinks and other snacks, with toilets to the left near the back. Has a second and third floor with a huge stage room for performances. Seating is nice too.

I am split with regards to Colston hall, I guess with the kind of venue it is, it is actually really nice, but often I go to the jazz and blues festival as a dancer. From my own personal experience of going there as a dancer, the venue and/or the organisers of the jazz and blues always make it difficult for dancers. Additionally when we were interested to go and see Post Modern Jukebox, Colston hall as one of the only venues that did not allow any dancers, for someone like me, it struggles to make sense however as a general music venue it is very nice and pleasant, gigs tend to be well organized and catered for, went to see the Flaming Lips there and the gig was an amazing spectacle as always by them!
