Hello reader,
I am an Away basketball player from another school who recently played Colorado Academy. I got the opportunity of a lifetime to sit left bench and would like to share my recent experience with you. I will be rating each feature of the chair, on a 1-10 scale, in to give you, the reader, the necessairy information neeeded to evaluate the school. Enjoy!
Firmness:4
Back Support:6
Quality:6
Comfort:9
Personal rating: 8/10
Final thoughts:Overall I was very impressed with Colorado Academy's benches. Although the firmness and resistance lacked significantly, it was still incrediably comfortable and almost reminded me of a soft pillow on my rear. The back support was very minimal and as a result, my back is still aching. However, I find this to be a common issue throughout the state so do not fear. My only other negative review is on the poor quality of the chairs. I found many problems arriving from the worm down exterior and the minimal padding. I was still very impressed overall, as can be seen by my personal rating of 8/10 and I am pleased to say that these seats did exceed my initial opinions towards them.
My whole family has gone to CA at one time. I loved my experience... I hope to send my daughter there...for Middle School.
The facts are the facts. CA is enjoying the highest number of enrollment applications in its history. GPA's and college readiness are at all time highs. College acceptance is exceptional. New facilities have been built and sports teams abound. Mike Davis is among the most sought after school leads in the nation. Well done Mike, the CA staff and the CA board of directors.
Hello dear readers,
I am a student at a nearby school, and I would just like to congratulate this fine establishment on their EXCELLENT desks. Here I will rate the different components of the chair and actual desk/table.
softness: 9/10
size:5/10
stability:7/10
over all comfort 10/10
Main rating: 8
note: this is exceptional compared to other schools desks, which range from 5s to 7s
People I've exchanged stories with including heads and board members at other private schools, board members at prestigious Universities like Notre Dame and Northwestern the overall theme is an unqualified head of school with no education degree backed by a checked out board that is sitting idly by while he sells admissions spots to unqualified families who are either large donors or good athletes, not necessarily good students. Yes, applications are way up as half of the 8th grade class left last year and it sounds like the same is happening this year and this is mind you going into the brand new high school. Massive deterioration in the quality of the education, or as described by one Ivy League administrator, the school is "dumbing down." Rampant bullying but if your check is large enough, your child can make threats or do whatever they want. Massive exodus of long time families and teachers who's concerns go unaddressed by the head. No school wide survey in years as the board seems to be taking a "if you don't like it go somewhere else approach," deeply impacting the lives of children who used to be so cherished by old leadership no longer. As for Mike Davis being "one of the most sought after heads in the nation," well that certainly sounds like something he would tell people.
this is just a question but is this a boarding school?
