The folks at Colony Pool Service are extremely responsive and do great work at very reasonable prices. The guys that come out have always been professional, on time and very helpful. I recommend them very highly!
We have used Colony for everything from emergency o ring purchases to ordering a replacement pool cover, and they are always pleasant and quick to help. I always feel like a valued customer and get answers to every question. We will continue to trust Colony with our pool needs!
Ordered a new sand filter which was installed promptly and works great. Overall good experience. Customer service over the phone could be improved but overall the job got done and it was done well.

We had originally been thinking about finding another pool company but we have had a great experience with Brad from Colony pool. He has been very attentive to our pool issues and is always available to discuss what's going on/ recommend what we should do. So far he's been involved in replacing two pool lights, a hot tub heater, a filter housing, and a few small fixes. Everything was done when he said it would be and with fair pricing. We are hoping that this level of service continues.
Recent service call result: showed up at agreed time, clearly and politely explained what they intended to accomplish, worked very hard with no breaks (2 hour service call) and got the job done. This is consistent with my experience with numerous service calls over the years. Also a plus, the owner is hands on. Highly recommend Colony Pool Service of Delaware.
They do good work when they get here. The problem is when you contact them they never tell you when and if their coming. The communication with this company is non-existent. It s like you have to beg them to take your money?
I also loved that when I setup my opening this year on their form it says ask for an estimate for weekly service. I checked it. Never heard anything then after a few weeks I asked them about my request and they said they were full. Again, no communication.

Responsive, helpful, courteous, and they keep your pool water crystal clear. Maintaining a pool is complicated, but Colony makes it so easy. The technicians are respectful and thorough. They are constantly helping you understand your pool and teach you tips to extend the life of your equipment and keep your water crystal clear. They suggest repairs and always take the most economic and beneficial route for you. During weekly maintenance, they spot problems and suggest easy fixes and follow through. If an issue arises between scheduled visits, all you have to do is call and they respond quickly and resolve the problem. Very happy with their service and would not go anywhere else. Also, they truly appreciate your business and aim to please, and succeed at doing so.
Colony Pools is my go to company when I need repairs to my pump and equipment. We have been using them for several years now. We also have them for closing the pool.
Had them close my pool last year and they were terrible. Did not do the complete job that was listed in the contract. The contract stated that they were to rinse out the filter grids. After they left, i checked out the pool and pool area. I noticed that my hose was never used and then checked all around the area and didn't see a drop of DE. I suspected they never rinsed my filter grids. I called the company and spoke to the manager and told him my concerns. He was very defensive and said that their workers are instructed to leave the area clean. I told them there is no way they can rinse the filters without leaving any trace of DE. He said he would talk with the crew and call me back, which he never did. Since the pool was winterized I didn't open the filter until spring and my filter grids were caked with DE, it didn't even look like they backwashed the filter. They didn't even clean out the filter basket! I will never use this company again! The crew was terrible. Never knocked on the door to let us know they were here. They blasted music with foul language (luckily kids in neighborhood were at school, or I would have told them to turn it off). They knew we were home, but never knocked to tell us they were done. After they left, I went out to the pool area and noticed they yanked out one of our lights around the pool... they didn't even try to put it back or tell us it happened.
