Quality mufflers, professional installation, very reasonable price

My alternator was dying in my 2006 Buick Rendezvous. I bought a new alternator and my son attempted to put it in but couldn't. Collins was happy to install my new alternator (other places would not). They did it right away, charged a fair labor cost and had it done within a couple of hours. I highly recommend this shop.

Had my resonator on my 2014 Jeep SRT deleted and they did an awesome job even when I came back for one other small thing they helped me without question!

Clayton at Collins muffler and service of Greeley helped me out with my exhaust and the service was excellent, Quick and done right. Would highly recommend to anyone needing exhaust work to work with them.

Stellar service. Called a day ahead of time and set appointment. Even though they were full when I arrived for appointment, they worked on it right when I arrived. I have a Frankenstein of a van (nothing is original parts) and they manufactured a solution right on the spot. I was shocked at the price. This almost never happens: their price was so low I couldn't believe it. Yeah. Low. Like way lower than I expected. I've been in before and thought their service was good. I'm a customer for life now.

Took my car in and thought I needed a new muffler. Turned out I just needed a few bolts tightened and they fixed me right up. They could have totally taken advantage of me and did not. They have a customer for life!

Went in to get a quote on a new muffler, and 45 minutes later left with a new magnaflow muffler and tip. looks great, good looking welds, these guys know what they are doing and really seem to like their jobs. Side note, it was cool to listen to them exactly point out the issue with a vehicle's exhaust problem, only by hearing the sound it made when pulling in, and being exactly spot on. They have my business for life.

Everyone at the shop was rude, from the time I called to make an appointment to the mechanic that looked at my car. All i needed was a simple fix to my light and they seemed like they didn't want to do it, giving excuse after excuse. I will never go back to this place unless they fix their attitude. The receptionist was rude and didn't even introduce herself.

Told me my engine was blown and they would happily replace for 4k.. Turns out that a vacuum leak and torn spark boot mean the whole engine is dead. Im happy there are enough suckers out there to keep em open though.

Fixed my exhaust tailpipe is crooked guy said he would call me back Monday and never heard back from him would not recommend also over heard him him telling a lady her car was not worth fixing that should have been her decision

A bout a month ago a clamp broke on my muffler and was hanging very low.
I called the guys at Collins in Greeley and they told me they were booked up for the day. But to bring the car in and they would try and fit me in. By the time I got there it was 12:45. One of the guys I assume was on lunch break drove the car in raised it up and welded it up for all by 1:00. They charged $25.00 and I gave them a $5.00 tip. Great job guys.

They extracted one broke off passenger side exhaust manifold stud and replaced the warped manifold. Charged quoted price!
At time of quote I was told this is a common issue and it happens because the OEM studs fail. I was told that they would install a new manifold, new studs and gaskets at connection that were taken apart. When I picked the truck up I popped the hood and noticed that they reused the studs. I ask why and he said that the parts store only had a few.
After I returned home I crawled under the truck and first thing I see is a new weld on the exhaust pipe coming down from the manifold.
This is completely unacceptable. I talked with 2 dealer service centers and 2 other small shops all the prices were about the same.
I picked Collins because they ve been around for as long as I can remember! But apparently that doesn t mean they do the job correct.
Just because you have the ability to cut something off to make the job faster doesn t mean it s the correct way to do it. If they are going to cut corners then they should not be charging the same price as the guys that do the job right.

Bad bad experience not professional work didn't do as I asked tried to put two different color mufflers under my car. One exhaust tip is loose both are hanging at different levels not centered under my bumper. If you care about the look and quality of your car go somewhere else. Going to have to pay somewhere else to fix all their mistakes.

Some of the coolest people you will meet and there work is top of the line. I will go no where else

Great service. I wanted a muffler put on. They gave me a quote ahead of time and had the muffler installed on my truck in no time. The price was fair and exactly what they quoted me.

Generally I come on here to vent and eviscerate some shady merchant that I'd like to see go down in flames. This is not the case with Collins Muffler. Here is why, these guys are HONEST mechanics not interested in ripping people off. I know, you may find it hard to believe. Finding an honest mechanic is like finding an honest spouse or business partner, once you've got them, you never want to let them go!

I was in there this afternoon after having troubles with one of my vehicles, certain that I needed at least a new starter and possibly more. Not the case, upon their diagnostic check they found there was an issue with a sensor, they reset it, re-diagnosed to be certain, tested it and everything was gravy. The best part was they didn't charge me a dime! Nothing, nada, zilch! Not even for the diagnosis which they initially quoted at $99.00 and I had agreed to pay. Even better than that, I was in and out in less than 30 minutes.

If you haven't found your honest mechanic in this life, fret not, hope is alive, for now you have! These guys are the real deal and have gained a customer for life.

I went for a rattle on my trailblazer and they found the rattle and a exhaust leak. They fixed the rattle and took care of me ! I ll definitely come back for any exhaust needs !

They don't just do exhaust work here, they do anything and everything, the guys running the shop are solid, honest guys, I've heard some people complain about price but honestly you get what you pay for and these guys do amazing work, their work also comes with a nation wide warranty with the use of some program they called tech net which I thought was pretty neat!

I have been in twice to Collins Muffler and both times have been great. They have had professional and courteous customer service and got both jobs done quick for a great price. I highly recommend them and plan on going to them for my future exhaust needs.

Always get thing done when they say they will and amazing quality definitely recommend to anybody who needs an exhaust fixed I honestly will never go to any other place for my car ever

On Tuesday I took our pickup in for a new tail pipe. Joe offered great customer service by explaining that they found out the muffler was also compromised. The price offered was a good value. Joe and his boss actually worked together to make the job quicker to help me keep the appointments I had previously made. We are thrilled with the work, the value and the service!

Recently my daughter and I moved to Greeley, from Metro Denver. Both of our vehicles needed a local mechanic. Her truck wouldn't pass emissions, and my old station wagon muffler got Loud, and sprung leak of antifreeze. We live down the street from Collins Muffler, and gave them a call for help.
Perfect, got quick service appointment, examine truck first, great service in one day, and truck now back on the road and license plate renewed for another year. My old car went in next, easy find for leaking fluids and repair. Scheduled the muffler and exhaust to be next, as parts needed to be order. Very Pleased with work and service. Thank You

After reading all the reviews on here I was a little worried about taking my jeep to Collins. I saw that the new manager was trying to better his quality of service so decided to give them a try. Ive waited three weeks to write this review and im still extremely happy with the work and service I was given. They were extremely professional with me, extremely affordable and I had an overall great experience. I look forward to taking my jeep back to them here in the near future for some more work.

The only place I trust with my truck. They have done a lot of work on it and have always been fair and honest.

I do alot of personal auto repairs, but I don't do exhaust sytems. The mgr at Collins was knowledgable and the staff perfomed my exhaust repair quickly and at the estimated cost. I feel this shop perfoms quality work for a reasonable price. I would definetly recommend and use them again.

This crew actually took the time to understand my concern and problems with my exhaust. Downpipe and intercooler piping was slightly off due to manifold upgrade.
Ended up with professional welds that will hold through high heat.
The owner was there to introduce himself making it even more welcoming to the shop. Place was clean and presentable with a well maintained schedule with when their customers will arrive for services.
All the work ended in a very rare cheap price.
Already scheduled for more services!

Collins has been at this location for 30 years due to good service & consideration for the customer !

Found out my struts were leaking and the place that originally found the leak wanted 800 for everything. I dad recommend Collins muffler and they did amazing work. I spent less at Collins muffler than what the other place wanted and Collins muffler made sure I got the best price and that I knew everything was going on. I will be going back for further work on my truck and I know my family will be back as well. Very knowledgeable and very caring place. They take a lot pride into the work they do and very reasonable prices!!

These guys ROCK. I had a horrible experience with another mechanic in town who put me through the ringer on my frozen brakes. These guys were honest with me through the whole process. My car is working wonderfully now and I was given a very fair price on all of my repairs. They were even kind enough to dig through the dumpster to show me my damaged parts so I would know what to look for in the future.
