Do not be discouraged by the uninteresting works of non-artists and crooks like Buren who are in the beginning. The rest of the Expo is full of immersive and elaborate creations, which pose real questions about the place of art in today's world. I particularly appreciated the works of Francesco Vezzoli. The places and spaces of the museum are sometimes as rich as the works themselves

What a superb place. You have to appreciate minimal art, conceptual art, land art which represent the essence of the collection. Jean-Michel Basquiat,, Sol LeWitt, Robert Ryman, Lawrence Weiner, Nan Goldin, Christian Boltanski, or the man of the famous columns of the Palais Royal in Paris I name Daniel Buren, The collector Lambert has always had the art of daring. See also the focus on various movements of the twentieth century.

Even if you only appreciate Basquiat moderately the guided tour is worth the cost / blow ...

A relaxing contemporary museum of arts with plenty of space to just enjoy the environment. Wasn t many people during our visit which was great as it allowed us to truely enjoy the surrounds. The restaurant La Violette was closing so we didn t manage to try but I ve been advised (by the locals) it s a must try. Good facilities to cater for all walks of life.

Contemporary art yes, but accessible! and with nice temporary exhibitions like the one on Combas recently.

The concrete block borrowed from a post-Soviet symbolism neon red whose lascivious pose on the floor sheds light on the creative delirium of Panamanian artist Emilio Teprendeporuncono, this jubilant stroll will change your life forever.

A lovely modern art collection with a nice permanent collection. We saw a really interesting exhibitions by Vik Muniz while we were there. Absolutely worth the 10 euro entrance fee.

On the other hand, concerning the works, I let myself be seduced by the captivating title of the exhibition "Basquiat Remix" with the presence of paintings by Matisse and Picasso. 3 interesting paintings and for the rest we wonder if it's not a joke. I did not even dare to do more than a room in the permanent exhibition.
No explanation, no possibility to project oneself among these works, nothingness.

Remarkable architectural restoration of the place, but the unprofessional welcome and the poor artistic choices when the works on display suggest that Gallerist and museum curator are very different professions. It is a pity and very disappointing.

I went there for a school trip and it's a very nice place. The guide we had was very interesting.

Not possible to present still today works like plastic bottles on the floor, and line of neon in the blur ... interesting permanent works, which I had already seen.

Simply amazing gallery. Well curated, beautifully hung and clear, informative introductions and captions (by a French standards!). The space is breathtaking, the 10 feels really fair as an entrance point compared to most other galleries we have visited. We have spent two months touring the art of South of France and many, many towns and galleries have had Matisse and Picasso exhibitions. This Lamberts show on Basquiat and his influences had the strongest works by these painters out of anywhere else we visited. Such a beautiful experience!

Collection and museography very nice. Temporary exhibitions are always of high quality and despite a low effort on prices (especially for students and young people), the collection is not stingy for all that.

This is one of my favorite museums. I like everything: the location, the permanent collection, the temporary exhibitions. It s both peaceful and inventive
