A disgusting place where the executives don't care about their students. Students are seen as walking tuition. UD is known to cover up sexual assault allegations, use agent orange on their lawns, and try to build a nuclear power plant without the consent of its students or the residents of the surrounding area. President Harker is overpaid, the greek life is rapey and conventional, and the university is eager to make rules that students will break in order to make a profit. I cannot imagine why somebody would want to come to this university from out of state.

I have to also include, however, that the English department is fantastic. The English faculty and Journalism faculty have sparked a much larger interest for me.

Otherwise, I am not at all impressed with my experience at UD, especially for the amount of debt I am being thrown into after school.

This is a great university especially for CIS(Computer and Information Science) departments. they got a lot great professors and really invoked my interests in pursuing deeper in this area. - Xingyu Zhou

Ignore the moms that complain their kid is failing a difficult class. Exams are designed to be something you haven't seen before to see if you can figure out what to do. Memorizing the steps to do one particular problem isn't going to cut it. That said, very few questions are like that, and professors have been great in my experience. Everything else about the school is top notch, they really try to give you an experience. Once they rebuild all of the older dorms, it'll be perfect.
