On 5/17/19 I was made aware of a bill in my name that was sent to my ex husbands address in Macon, GA.
My son went to the ER and was heavily sedated when he came in due to an injury.
My son is an adult, and I explained to the customer service rep in billing that this bill should not be in my name, I do not live in Macon, and I was in Canada when my son was treated. His father was with him.
They told me that my name was given as the responsible part and they could not read the signed form . She refused to remove my name from the bill. I am stuck with this 398.00 bill now. I am very very angry about this situation.

I just delivered my third baby at Coliseum Medical Center. This experience was just as pleasant as the previous experiences. We were able to see and have the pleasure of former nurses administer care to us. And we also made new friends with nurses administering care to me. Elizabeth, RN was such a great nurse to us, as always. Ashley, the lactation consultant, was a complete God-send. She helped me mentally more than I could ever thank her for. It was nice to see Angela, one of the pediatric nurses, again. Traci (I think that was her name) from the dietary staff was so sweet to us, and we looked forward to seeing her everyday. Thank you for another pleasant birthing experience.

My daughter had a baby here last Monday by csection. We were VERY happy with the whole experience except for 1 nursing tech who was obviously not happy with her job either day she came in. She was rude and VERY condescending. Her name was Rakita. Her favorite nurse was Ms Sharon and Ms Tracy from the cafeteria was AMAZING!!!!

Worst hospital ever!!! My mother had surgery And the 4 west night nurses treated her with so much disrespect that it's rediculous. Ciara, David and the other nurse with the funny name that starts with a "C" , that works over night are very disrespectful. They called my mother names and hid her call light so she couldn't call anyone. She was in tears by The time I got there at 8 that morning. The Coliseum can thank them for the lawsuit!!!

Dealing with my mom with Double pneumonia they made her leave. They discharged her and she knew she wasn't feeling well. They told my brother that she could treat it herself at home. I called the director and reported it and will file a complaint also. It's nothing like it use to be and they told us it wasn't an infection. We are confused because what is pneumonia? They better hope like we are that nothing happen to our morher.

Check in was great, nurses were attentive, but after that things went down hill fast. i felt like i wasn't listened to thoroughly by attending physician staff. I had severe leg pain and after diagnosis i was offered an over the counter pain patch that i had to go into the restroom and put on myself, and sent out the door ,which resulted in me having to go to another in town Er center, where I recieved the proper care and medication that I should have gotten at Coliseum Er. !!! Very Disappointed

I was admitted to the ER with elevated heart rate, dizziness. They jumped into work immediately.
Dr. Mao was fantastic, she checked all my vitals and ordered all kinds of tests on me. EKG, Chest Exrays, IV, Blood work etc. She was all business and attented
To my every need. Dr. Malcolm arrived and studied all my lab results throughly. We discussed everything related to my case so that I could get the proper follow up care. I thanked him upon my discharge and I d like to thank the entire staff. This was my first visit to any ER in Macon and as a new resident here. I know I ll be in good hands if I ever need help again.

I had both of my children here. The food is amazing, the cafeteria staff are warm, compassionate and friendly. The nurses in labor and delivery, were all amazing and took excellent care of me making me feel less scared and not alone. The post partum nurses also took excellent care of me and my family. The lactation nurses went above and beyond to help me with anything I needed. I love this place! Highly recommend.

Overall it was good but the people working the entrances, taking temperatures, had very poor attitudes. I know their job probably gets very boring, having to do and say the same thing all shift, but I do know their attitudes could be better and more welcoming. The rest of the staff were very helpful and made me feel more welcome.

Waited two hours in the ER in pain when people who came in after me were seen before me. People who looked fine and every time I asked how much longer my wait was I kept being pushed back. First there was only 2 then suddenly 3 people in front of me. I finally walked out after telling them how unacceptable the treatment there was.

This has got to be the WORST hospital in GA!!!!!! My mom was there for almost 3 wks her rm was cleaned maybe twice. She was on the third floor and the nurses on that floor was very unprofessional I was afraid to leave her alone!!!! They was talking to her like she was crazy and I had to tell several nurses you're not going to use the word foolish& crazy while talking to her. The Dr gave her medicine that she wasn't suppose to take and now she can't even walk on her own but trust me you're not going to get away with this treatment!!!!! I will be doing something about this and one last thing the lady that does the dialysis patients up there will not get away with twisting my mom arm and treating her badly. I'll advice anyone if you care about your love ones take them somewhere else I don't want anyone to go through what I had to endure!!!!!!

I was well taken care of. Every member of the staff made me feel like I was the only patient there and I was there only concern. If I did not understand something I was encouraged to ask questions. And they were more then happy to explain.

Initially, I was confused since I've never been to the facility (I wasn't sure if I was in the right place). After settling down (getting over that hurdle), I completed the registration sign-in and, from there, everything was PERFECT. The staff I encountered, from my escort to the elevator after leaving the registration desk to the end of my exam/exit, were exceptionally kind and treated me as if I was their only priority.

Nurse practitioner on duty in the ER treated me like I was faking my symptoms and just trying to get pain meds. I have been to the ER once before this and it had been over a year ago so it s not like I frequent the ER requesting drugs. I was vomiting from the amount of pain I was in yet I sat in the waiting room for three hours with no pain meds after I had already done scans and tests. She made it quite clear that she did not want to help me. I m in nursing school and she made me recognize how to never treat one of my patients in the future.

The people at the medical center were the best!! It started from the time I walked into the hospital. I was greeted by administration. They welcomed me in and helped me to sign in. I was then put in a wheelchair and escorted to my room. The medical personnel was really nice and always started a conversation to ease the tension of my procedure. They went through great detail of what all was going to be do prior and post. They were very professional. They even had humor that made it even more pleasant to be their. The doctor was to the point about the procedure, but also cared about me and to keep me comfortable as well as his staff. I would definitely recommend Coliseum Medical Center!

This was my first time at the hospital for an ultrasound. I was so nervous but the moment that Kehli West, Denise Fletcher and Ultrasound Tech, Kayla, started working me, all of my nervousness disappeared! Words cannot describe the sweet, professional and sincerity in each of these incredible women's behavior towards me from start to finish! In the past, i have had procedures done at other hospitals and never had i been made to feel welcomed by the employees. These women clearly love people in general because their behavior seemed honest and not forced because of their positions working with the public. Great job Coliseum Medical Centers for making these women apart of your medical family!

I was recently a patient here and had a wonderful experience. From all of the text, nurses, doctors, and all hospital support staff, I had amazing care and knowledgeable Physicians. I would recommend this Hospital to anyone that needs expert care. The location is great and the views are beautiful. I wished that there is a happy medium for the temperature in the place, and registration took too long. I showed up 30 mins before my appointment time AND pre-registered and pre-paid over the phone.
If those things were taken into consideration, then this would have been a five star visit because the procedure was not bad and didn t take too long. The person who was taking the x-rays had set my expectations before hand.

ABOVE AND BEYOND!

ABOVE AND BEYOND!
I gave birth in June to my first beautiful child and it has been the most amazing experience of my life. I couldn't have done it without my husband's support, but the whole staff in the hospital gave us all the help and support that you'd need during this important moment of a soon-to-be mother's life.
I want to thank with my whole heart:
Labor and delivery staff: Dr. Hall, Dr. Cox and Kristin Mullis, whose guidance during the last part of my labor was simply amazing; Tracy Warren, Jordan Anneeky and Dr. Sanjev, who took care of me during labor, making sure that me and our baby were healthy and safe.
Post Partum: Ellen RW, Kim RW, Shelley RW, Kris RW and Cecilia RW, AMAZING nurses that went above and beyond for me and our baby, giving us everything that we needed and tons of advice for a new mother.
House keeping: Tia, very kind and quiet.
Dietary: Tracy, COMPLIMENTS TO THE CHEF! Very available and caring for patients's health and tastes.
OB Admission: Celestine, welcoming and masterly.

My mother was discharged from this hospital just y...

My mother was discharged from this hospital just yesterday, she was admitted for vomiting uncontrollably. The doctor discharged her even though she had not proven she could keep anything on her stomach. They didnt not allow her to eat or drink anything for the three days she was there. When I saw her I spoke with the nurse who was in charge of her care and she refused to provide me with a way to reach the doctor who was treating her. When the nurse was helping me get her in the vehicle for the drive home to eatonton she fell and complained of being dizzy, that nurse did seem to he concerned but said she couldn't do anything since she was discharged. Within an hour of her being home she once again began to vomit and complained of dizziness.

This doctor is not living up to his code to do no harm as she clearly is not well and he couldn't care less since she is uninsured.

I got excellent service from the minute I stepped into the waiting room at the Women's Center! Samara Brantley took great care of me at OP registration! She was very friendly and everything was done accurately and quickly! I can't say enough good about my techs, Lisa Lister and Lisa Brown! Both were extremely caring, professional, thorough and so kind! Based on the questionnaire that I completed, it was suggested that I check into genetic testing, due to my family history. I did it that day and I'm so glad I did! I had no idea that this was offered at Coliseum, but it was a quick, simple process, that could be of great benefit to me in the future! Thank you, Lisa Lister, for suggesting it! All of the techs in the Women's center, including Penny, Judy and Racarra, go above and beyond! I wouldn't want to go anywhere else for my healthcare needs!

We had a wonderful experience with the staff at Coliseum Medical Center Heart Cath Lab. It was such a stressful day for many reasons but our nurse Paige was so comforting and good. We couldn't ask for any better service and the calming effect they provided helped us through it all. Thank you so much for the service you gave.

This is the most third world god awful place I ve ever been. Do not go here unless you want your loved one to lay in bed in pain while no one contacts the doctor and nothing is done about it. My dad had severe abdominal pain for two days before anyone did one single thing about it. He finally had a CT scan ordered but it wasn t done until two days later. By then it was too late. Not one staff member in 7 days there ever washed their hands. Not one staff member listened to his lungs or even pulled the covers back to look at him. One nurse came on at 6:45 and never came to the room until almost 11pm. Unbelievably bad care is an understatement. Do not take your loved ones to Coliseum if you want them to live. This place is dangerous. Something is seriously wrong here.

well, it started OK to registration their was no one there to check in an I had to use the restroom an the only one they had was behind locked doors. Then continue to the next floor to check in for my procedure. Was taken to a room to get ready for the procedure. Waited a little while before anyone came in to talk with me but then finally Melanie came which was the nurse to set up the I.V. an get things going. Then had to wait for awhile before being seen. Then was taken to the O.R. room where the procedure was going to take place as the staff asked what I was having done as I explained i was having two procedures done at this appointment. Which I'm glad we went over that so they the nurses an tech's had to turn the bed around and get other equipment out an ready.
As that is said the staff was very nice Susan RN an the other two ladies in there. Out to recovery this is where I meant Richard RN PACU and was released from the hospital. This was the first time at this hospital for a procedure in bldg E and doctor in bldg B so it was experience.
