Cold Stone Creamery Review

Although Cold Stone creamery is supposed to be saved for special occasions, sometimes just because the day ends in y is a good reason to go to Cold Stone. No matter what flavor you choose, it is heavenly!

Awesome Ice Cream, friendly staff. It's a very busy location, so I totally understand the staff not being cheery 24/7.

Girls here tonight seemed lame and unenthusiastic. Tipped them well and didnt even get a tip tip horray! Nothing. They just rushed us out

The line was long and nonstop at 9:30pm on a summer Thursday but the young man behind the counter never slowed down and was friendly to everyone. And of course the ice cream was delicious!

Always friendly staff, make sure you get exactly what you want. They have their jingles when you tip too. Never gets old

Ice cream shop. Bit over priced, and busy, but the staff was pleasant and fast.

I don't have allot of money right now and was waiting for my roommate to sell a car behind the harkins theater. I was with my girlfriend and her boy. I thought it would be nice to spend five bucks on a cone of his choice while we waited for the buyer. We went in he picked his flavor and was served. We went outside and he enjoyed his cone for about a minute. I was asked in the store if I would like anything and said no. I can't afford much right now.

After a minute out side the store the boy's ice cream fell off the cone and hit the ground. In a mini fit he through the waffle cone to the ground next to the ice cream. He sat down upset and I cleaned up the mess wondering how I'm going to diffuse a five year old while we're waiting for the buyer to show and sell a car.

As we sat there I saw allot of movement in the store. Allot of nods and people working fast but no one was in there buying ice cream. Then suddenly young woman came out and saved the day with a cone and scoop of ice cream he wanted in a paper bowl with a spoon. To insure he couldn't drop it.

Long story short, they were awesome and saved our day.

Today I celebrated national Oreo day with mint ice cream filled with crushed Oreo cookies. Today was a good day.

Dark chocolate and dark chocolate peppermint are both very good. Standard chocolate is wimpy and sugary. Mix-ins are great. Service is friendly and prompt. The 48oz is a great deal and can add mix-ins.

The ice cream is just as good as other Cold Stone locations, but it's closeness to the theater often means it's very crowded. The constant rush also means the staff gets worn down and less cheerful.

A large serving with a large cone was an insane portion for the price!!!

Super small place, always to busy. Ice cream is way to expensive and not even that great in my opinion. Baskin Robins much better

We had a cake done here for my son's birthday. It was so good and looked great.

Always a high energy crew, they really focus on making it an experience for sutomers.

I will say that Coldstone is one of the better tasting chains. That being said, some of the flavors are definitely superior to others (for instance, cotton candy and cheesecake are a lot better than coffee or cake batter). One big thing that I don t like is their use of corn syrup. Besides that, I have noticed that there is service is inconsistent, but nothing that is too bad

Ask for Jenna! She is amazing. I said I wanted a like it, make it more of a like it a lot. It was Jenna's creation and it was super size and amazing. Make sure you tip her for her efforts. I WILL BE GOING BACK AND ASKING FOR HER BY NAME!

How does one review an ice cream shop? You buy ice cream here from teenagers. You pick the flavor and toppings. The ice cream and toppings are mixed together and thrown in a bowl, cone, or waffle bowl or cup. If you like ice cream, and you choose a good mixture chances are you'll enjoy your purchase.

Today was the SECOND time I have went to this location, and the employees were in the back, just chilling while other ppl were waiting in line. Today they were right there at the entryway to the back, I counted 4 ppl, some sitting down facing us out there waiting, staring right at them, some on their phones just chilling. I was getting ready to say hello to get their attention when one chick finally remembers she is at work and comes out o serve us, with attitude,...again... I just walked out before I say something harsh. Lol wow.

Cold stone is always a good spot to crave your sweet tooth just a bit pricy. It's a. Mall joint what do you expect.

Icecream was delicious. I got too much though. The guy mentioned it was his fourth day. He was by himself and a line began to form. He handled it ok. All in all the price and quality was great.

So, I've never had a bad experience at Cold Stone. The ice cream is smooth and there are a bunch of flavors and condiments. The choices for cones or bowls are also a delightful touch to the experience. I love going here and discovering something new.

Dang, I love Tempe and this cold stone was a perfect representation of what I like to see. Staff was friendly and knew how to relate. They made sure I like what I was selection, giving me the maximum enjoyment of my frozen delight.

My family and I came here this afternoon. Even though it was insanely busy the line moved quickly and the two gentlemen working we're incredibly professional and kind. The ice cream was delicious, and the establishment was clean and well maintained. If I'm in the area again I will definitely return.

Went after the movies. As always it was yummy. I got cookie batter with roasted almonds, coconut, and mini chocolate chips.

This stupid place didn't take my gift card and I paid 17 dollars for this stupid ice cream that is too sweet and you can't even finish it! I will never buy my ice cream here! I shouldn't have tipped them either...thought the ice cream would be good...

I hadn't been to a Cold Stone in ages. Still as good as ever and the service was awesome! I ordered a Skinny Vanilla with pecans and black cherry! Only thing is the servers should have a better knowledge of what is in their product. They didn't know what the skinny vanilla was sweetened with. I was able to access the info online so no harm done!

Amazing ice cream with as many toppings as you desire. I love getting chocolate ice cream with chocolate chips, shavings and hot fudge and its delicious everytime. The like it completely hits the spot. My hubby loves the chocolate devotion with chocolate chips, brownies and hot fudge!! This place is a must for ice cream at Tempe Marketplace!!

I don't normally write reviews, but I am tired of this place short changing customers on the amount of ice cream they get, even if it's just a small. I've been going here for two years, and this is the only store that consistently does this.

I've never been to another Cold Stone where they barely fill the cup to the brim, and act like you are still getting your money's worth. Aside from this the store is a complete mess because of the amount of traffic it sees, especially on the weekends. If you want lines out the door, sticky soda on the floor, poor service, and the bare minimum amount of ice cream for the cup, this is the store for you.

I would recommend going to ANY other Cold Stone in Tempe for your ice cream. Literally any other place is better than this.

You know when you go on vacation and you want a delicious treat - Cold Stone Creamery is MY PLACE! Anytime I am over by this location I stop by. I cannot get enough of Cold Stoner Creamery. There ice cream is top notch and their flavor mix-ins are to die for! So many flavors to choose from - great portions and the services is always on point. They obviously train these kids to be creative and fun!

I also want to brag a little about their ice cream cakes, cookies, and cupcakes. Ice cream and cake/cookies? I can't!! They are just too good! They are always in my freeze alongside the pints and Dairy Queen's dilly bars. Stop by and show this location some love - they are always brighten my day!

Very busy, pricey, good service, but on such a hot day with little to no indoor seating, the ice cream turns to a huge mess quickly.

The ice cream was not cold , I hope this review doesn't sway someone coming here. Was my primera vez a en CSC. I wanted an Oreo shake but got a milkshake with chocalate* I won't be back

They would have all the stars but the cleanliness was sub par. The place was down right dirty. But they hit a home rum with the Delish ice cream and topping beaten together for an amazing dessert.

There was a mix up with my cake order, I did it last minute (the day of the birthday) and my cake wasn't there or ready. Kelly Was awesome she completely took care of the situation and was very pleasant to work with! <3333

Was busy at first and then the crowd moved out. And we were the only ones in there besides the working crew.

Need to update process. Spent 45 min in line and there was 3 people in front of me. They only had one employee and the first customer ordered 3 large tubs of ice cream. The line just kept getting longer and business was lost. Poorly ran store.

Did you know you could spend $8 on a large ice cream? It's good, especially if you have a franchise.

They were quick to get us what we ordered, and they let us try a lot of different flavors. I just felt a little rushed to get everything, thus my 4 star rating. Hopefully that isn't the case with others.

Love this Cold Stone location! The people here are definitely trained to have fun and engage with the customers. They do all types of cool tricks, flipping my ice cream in the air and catching it in the cup, etc.

They also have catchy little jingles for when you leave a tip, so of course I have to leave one to see what they will say.

I normally get the cake batter ice cream which is DIVINE and isn't sold many other places. Their ice cream is so creamy which is why I love it, but I'm sure it's not very healthy at all. I get Reese's peanut butter cups smashed up in my cake batter which gives me a bit of texture to go with the sweet, creamy deliciousness of cake batter ice cream.

Sucks. Went there and they were closed before hours. Their clock must be ahead of time.

Aloha! I love sweets and this place always makes me eat. Perfect just outside the theater. Get your ice cream after the movies is the best baby!

I go to this location a lot because it's close to campus and I do regular shopping in this area. However, I noticed this place gets very busy, so busy at times that the line extends to outside the door. Recently, I waited about 15 minutes just to get my favorite coffee ice cream treat and waited another 5 minutes to pay for it while I ate before it melted too much. This time it was during the weekend. I normally would just leave. My advice would be to go to this location during the weekdays or early during the day. It's summer so this brings around a lot of customers.

Well first of all I'm pretty sure a smoothie is supposed to be smooth but the one I got was mostly ice chunks, I only wanted a small dipped cone instead got a large one and before I could say anything the girl moved on to the next person. Disappointed.
