Love their iced vanilla latte! Very speedy service once your order is placed. Staff was very friendly and helpful even with the loud noise of the blenders. Great place to go with friends. They do great at following CDC guidelines and have plenty of signs so no one ever gets confused. Love it!

You know, I don't go to coffee places very often. And I don't feel like I fit in very much. I honestly thought I was going to offend half the people there on accident. Buuut, their coffee was very good and at a great price. Granted, they gave me the wrong size I asked for, but I was making a bunch of jokes so I probably distracted them. That's more so my fault. I didn't know how to pick which flavor I wanted because I am inexperienced with all those fancy flavors, but it was simple and they made it easy for me. They really helped me get the coffee I wanted! Plus I didn't offend anyone, so that's a plus. Cozy little space, will probably attempt to go a 2nd time without offending anyone!

I like the atmosphere, love the coffee and hot chocolate at the bar, nice selection of treats too all at reasonable prices. The beans are fresh roasted in house and reasonably priced as well. My favorite coffee shop in Lexington.

i grew up smelling this coffee every week, and when i made the step into coffee drinking, the Coffee Times beans held my hand. i am biased, but still believe CT is one of the best roasters, very distinct.

Have been a customer for years. Always an interesting place. Employees generally personable and helpful. Great place for gifts, too. One of the very few roasters who understands what a LIGHT roast is!!! Always wary of a roaster who may be "hiding his sins" by overroasting what he claims is a light roast. Never an issue here. Thanks!

I love Coffee Times! The hours aren't spectacular but everything else really is. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful, the food is wonderful and the coffee.. well you just have to try it for yourself. This is one of my favorite places in Lexington. Do not pass this place up!

I am a huge coffee nerd and new to the area in from Seattle and having formerly been an SCAA cupping judge and buying my own personal coffee from all over the world, I consider myself a bit of a coffee aficionado. So I'm having a blast visiting all the new coffee shops in Lexington and nearby towns, and letting my friends know everything I find. This place has some decent ratings and a lot of them, so of course I've been here now a few times to try different offerings. Here's what I've found:

Coffee: Freshly roasted and some very nice blends. So far I've only had a really great cup of their brew. I don't think they roast their own, though I could be wrong. Unfortunately, I wasn't as impressed with what I bought to take home. There are a LOT of options here, which is very impressive. Perhaps it was just bad luck, but the ones I got tasted old and got tossed. I'd rather have fewer selections and fresher product. I'd like to be able to give this place 3.5 stars because it's more deserving than a 3, but coffee is supposed to be their thing, and therefore it should be right every time.

Tea: Again, a huge selection of tea. I'm not a huge tea drinker, but enjoy it about every other day or so. I got a bit of a mixed bag on this. The ceylon and darjeeling were great. A couple of others tasted like they had outlived their shelf life and were just dull.

Eats: Overall a very good selection. Twice I've had something I would come back for, twice I got something a little stale.

Service: Very good and very friendly. Nice people and very knowledgeable about their products [except the tea].

Other: Lots of gift stuff. I mean a LOT! Some nice gift ideas, but I'm not sure what this has to do with coffee and tea. I mean, why not mattresses?

Bottom line: I'll be back, but will probably only stick with a fresh cup and a pastry if it is early enough in the day. The do a good job on their basics, but perhaps the "less is more" concept should be applied.

My favorite Lexington coffee shop. Try the Hazelnuccino (made with hazelnut roast espresso, not syrup) or the delicious Iced Hollywood. We buy our coffee for home there as well. Great atmosphere, great staff.

Coffee Times is a really great place to have coffee, use the internet to work, plus they have a pretty large eclectic gift shop section. The people that work there are nice along with a good atmosphere.

Not a good place for larger groups....the seating arrangements are smaller.

Not a big food selection for a more substantial meal.....plenty of drinks and sweets.

I ve been coming to Coffee Times since 1991. Although I ve moved away (as far as California) I always make Coffee Times a morning Coffee stop anytime I am close to Lexington. You can t go long without a cup of Jo , their special blend.

So cute, amazing coffee and an awesome environment for meet ups or studying. The little shop attached and the vintage store right next door are definitely places to check out while you're there too!

Phenomenal coffee shop that still has that classic coffee shop vibe to it. Good music choices, great little shop attached to it, and they roast their own coffee in house, so the entire place smells like freshly ground coffee beans, like a good coffee shop should. I've been coming here for years and it has always maintained the same level of quality, and even grown better with time. I love it.

I'm not a coffee drinker, but I occasionally come in with my coffee-fiend boyfriend. I love the atmosphere and the selection of teas they have. It is a much more extensive non-coffee menu than most coffee shops. I also appreciate how accommodating the staff is when I want something weirdly specific (like the 2nd piece of cake from the right, lol). One of the guys working the counter has some pretty clever jokes, too. Definitely a great local business.
