The very best and oldest coffee shop in Lexington....
The very best and oldest coffee shop in Lexington. I've been going there since it opened some 30 plus years ago. It's simply the best!
The very best and oldest coffee shop in Lexington. I've been going there since it opened some 30 plus years ago. It's simply the best!
They usually have really good drip coffee. The lattes and specialty drinks are hit or miss. The atmosphere is good unless they are packed. Staff are mostly friendly and helpful with a few exceptions.
Usually packed, good place to chill for a bit and study I'd you can find a table, staff is very friendly.
Cutest little coffee house ever! Great selections too. Nice little place just to hang out and enjoy a cup of joe.
Wonderful fresh coffee, great customer service, all around wonderful atmosphere
Good selection of raw coffee, which can be bought separately as well. Of course coffee selection was good also.
Awesome coffee store. The coffee shop is super nice although they only put a single shot in their smalls so it's like starbucks in that sense.
Good coffee and snacks in a very warm and friendly atmosphere.
Great coffee! Come and get your fresh roasted beans.
We have been coming to Coffee Times for several years. Love the selection of coffee and tea. Definitely a great place for lunch and conversation too!
My favorite coffee shop in Lexington. Plenty of seating, outlets and great coffee.
I usually order all of my specialty coffee drinks without whipped cream, but Coffee Times is my only exception. It s hand whipped on site with a hint of honey and I love it on my blended Dulce de Leche coffee!
Over all this place is nice. They have an incredible tea selection and offer loose tea to be purchased for home use. There is also a great gift shop connected to the cafe. The staff is friendly and there is quite a bit of space to sit. The downfalls are that the bathroom is never clean. Like it's always so dirty that I have chosen to go to other establishments on a few occasions. And the bagles taste super cheap... Like Walmart brand 6 pack cheap. I find this kind of strange considering they also offer baked goods from Martin's bakery... I wish everything was on the same level of quality.
If you like good quality coffee then this is the place to go in Lexington!
Charles that works at coffee times was extremely rude will no longer go back.
My family and I love Coffee Times Coffee House! We have been here for years but just discovered it a couple months ago, I feel kinda cheated that I didn't find it sooner! Amazing Coffee!
This is easily the most completely well-rounded coffee shop I have ever been to. Aside from their impeccable menu, the atmosphere, staff, and store are all exceptional.
Took 20 minutes to get my small coffee au lait which wasn t great my croissant was super dry had to have been made a day or two ago and my ham and cheese croissant had hardly any of either $10 not at all well spent. Never going back.
This is a great place to hang out and meet with friends. The coffee and tea is good. We had a chai tea and asked for extra spicy and they made it perfectly.
If flavored coffee is your thing, this is the place to go. I love their gift shop, and the awesome vintage shop nextdoor. Great place to read a book or get work done, if you can find a seat.
Cool atmosphere, the snacks aren't all that good I tried Multiple items but coffee is great. Try the warm vanilla latte it has a roasted marshmallow taste
Good drinks, stable Wi-Fi, and plenty of outlets if you need somewhere to study/work!
Great selection of coffee to take home- they will fresh grind there.
Coffee Times is by far my favorite coffee shop in Lexington. Other shops also have nice atmospheres, but what sets Coffee Times apart is the coffee. They have 4 different types each day, and they are FANTASTIC. I have not found better coffee anywhere.
Only drawback is that most of the tables in the back don't have access to power outlets. But the outlets are plentiful toward the front of the store.
I liked it. My coffee was good and there is a cool little shop.
Only gripe is that the menu doesn't have descriptions and people loitered after drinking their coffee so there were no seats.
My go to place to buy tea. Great little selection of gifts, also. Staff seems knowledgeable and friendly. Seating can sometimes be problematic as they are usually fairly busy.
My favorite coffee house in Lexington. I've gone here since I was little and have always been pleased. One of my favorite place to give gift cards to as they sell coffee, tea, and accessories.
Excellent lattes. If you like Starbuck's, don't visit this place. This place knows coffee.
I love their coffee and pastries but they don t allow dogs... on my walks with my dog I would love to be able to get coffee there
This place was great and I absolutely loved walking around and seeing all the stuff they have for sale. They have unique items that would be great for gifts! My friend and I plan to go as often as we can!
I recommending this coffee shop not only have coffee, have big tea selection.
It's a nice atmosphere once you get inside but the parking is terrible. The iced chai was too strong with spice which burned going down. Not sure if the recipe was made right.
I love this place it's so calm and open to everyone
Honestly my favorite coffee shop in Lexington. It's such a treat to visit here! They have some of my favorite coffee mixes (my favorite is the bourbon ball latte!!!)
Great selection of baked goods from local places. Lovely staff and great atmosphere Everytime.
I bought beans for my brew coffee. The place looks great and the staff was sooooo friendly and helpful. The have huge collection for the coffee beans. Recommended place to get beans for your brew coffee or expresso. I did not try the coffee at the place but atmosphere looks great.
Wonderful coffees, especially the Stanley Demos decaf. Nice place to spend some time.
Great varieties of coffee, and great location. It was busy and friendly when I visited. Highly recommended!
The original coffeehouse with quality coffee and different original flavors.
Coffee Times is a great little coffee shop and store. It has a nice vibe if you want to hang out and read, study or just drink your coffee and eat tasty treats with a friend or partner. The staff are welcoming and helpful. The shop may have the widest selection of coffee and coffee related items in town.
I can't believe I'd never been here, even though I live on Southland! It's definitely a hidden gem for the community. They have a large selection and answered a couple questions that I had and I LOVED what I got. My coffee was delicious and I can't wait to go back. The flavours are on-par with Starbucks, but you get a wonderful local coffee shop. Highly recommended to my friends.
Yummy coffee with a neat little shop to buy cool coffee equipment, little gifts, etc.
Everything you could ever want from a coffee shop. Great espresso drinks, coffe, and a variety of tea options
Neat little cafe with a small shopping center. Might stop by as a treat to myself once in a while.
Fantastic local coffee and cafe as well as a great place to just hang out. I always get my coffee for home from here as well.
My favorite coffee place in Lexington. Whenever I'm in town, I have to stop by.
Impressed with their tea selection. It was tea-rrific!
A Lexington gem. This place takes coffee seriously with a great atmosphere to enjoy it.
Ordered crazy amounts of grounded coffee beans. Gets 5 stars for its selection of coffees and teas to go. Almost lost the 5th star for having a small selection of real food options.
Not the best Expresso but they make good flavored drinks.
womderful atmosphere good food and great coffee but a bit small for how popular it is so sometimes too cramped
This place has its own style and has a wide selection of not just coffee but tea as well.
Love their selection of fresh roasted coffee
While bean and they will grind it if you want
My favorite go-to study location. Very easy to social distance right now
Great place for coffee and a snack. Nice gift shop.
I saw those conniving minimum wage workers giving out free bagels to customers.
This coffee shop was amazing. I like going to local businesses. This coffee shop also had many different things you could buy. From coffee beans to mugs to note books to even wax and seals. The coffee was amazing as well. This place had a very nice vibe to it.
I tried the tomboy and felt like a kid as I enjoyed drinking the warm coffee. Loved all the different kinds of beverages and knick knacks at the store next door.
Very unique cafe with great coffee, interesting environment, and they roast their own coffee in house so it smells amazing. Such a chill place to relax, study, or chat.
Best locally roasted coffee in town. I love their light roasts in a moka josie! They've been roasting in house for 35 years.
I have been going here for years and I love it! If you're going to pay a little more for your coffee, get out of your car, walk in, and you'll see how great it is.
What a break from the highly-advertised java joints! As a tourist l decided to take the time to drive over to check out Coffee Times. I wasn t disappointed. Had a blended brew. It was smooth and delicious! Thanks & you can expect me back!
This place has iced caramal macchiatos that are so good they have forever ruined caramal macchiatos from anywhere else for me.
Coffee Times Coffee House has really became the only coffee house I visit locally, mostly because it meets all my needs.... excellent coffee beans, wonderful cafe, and great people who work there.
Have been a member of the coffee club for years, and last year my wife joined the tea club. It's a great feeling to get that free 1lb of coffee when you reach the target.
It's a cute place, nice for studying or work on computer. Not so good tasting coffee, Starbucks tastes better
Excellent coffee...excellent service. Great place to sit and drink coffee and talk!
Try their twist on a chai tea latte. Way better than Starbucks.
Still one of the best places to get coffee in Lex! I love browsing the adjoining store while waiting for my coffee and finding the cutest stuff. The Log Cabin Latte does not disappoint. It's usually hard to find a table or chair to relax in, but they're busy for a reason. Totally worth the stop!
Relaxed atmosphere with coffee on par with that found in Italy.
Really nice staff, great coffee/tea. A little cramped with a bunch of college students hanging out...but it is what is to be expected at a coffee shop in a college town.
It has this wonderful laid back atmosphere. The colors are soothing and there are plenty of places to sit either with friends or by yourself. You just feel at home.
It is so refreshing to go grab a cup coffee in a local place. Coffee Times is a favorite of my entire family. My teenager likes to go there with her friends, and we visit pretty regularly as a family. They have a wonderful selection of fresh ground coffee and cold and hot drinks. They also have a fresh variety of small size meals and desserts. They also have a wide range of unique gifts. And it is connected to Street Scene that has cool vintage items. Support these local shops where the people are friendly and the environment is always clean and inviting.
Coffee Times has a great local vibe and is located next door to a vintage clothing, jewelry, and home goods store. The fact that you can walk direct over to browse there adds to its charm, but this shop has its own collection of curiosities to catch your attention. If you decide to stick around, there are cozy couches and tables surrounded by quirky decor.
Even if coffee isn t your go-to drink, you can choose from a variety of smoothies, teas, and fresh quiche or baked goods. They also sell whole bean coffee and brewing systems.
The reason I give it a 4 is because the coffee itself is hit-or-miss. I find myself thinking of this spot only when I want to meet a friend.
The cashier was super nice. Answered every question we threw at her with confidence. The drinks were really good as well. The whip cream is worthy of a mention. Has a bit of a honey taste that I enjoyed.
I go there whenever I want to recapture my youth. Very fun and the coffee is so good!
If you're looking for a smaller, local coffee shop thats off the beaten path, this is the place for you. Great coffee selection and don't forget about the sweet treats inside the case. Also, the smells of the coffee from around the world are truly incredible. I would pay just to walk in here and smell the place, much less have an actual cup of coffee. A long time staple of the Lexington coffee and tea scene, be sure to visit this one.
The coffee is roasted on location and is fantastic! Great crew working here also
This is a great place to buy loose leaf tea at a good price. Not a fan of their flavored teas but the classic ones are great.
I love this coffee shop. When I'm in town I always try to stop by. The coffee is delicious and the staff is warm.
