The better authentic Mexican food joint in Lake County

Great place for lunch! Very friendly & good food!!!!

Everything was good, but not that amazing. I had an expectation that Mexican food would be spicy. However, everything was delicious and tasty. Best thing we had were the beef quesadillas and chicken enchiladas.
The dessert(Sopapilla) would have been good if the banana was ripe.

These people are so nice and if everyone wants Mexican and you're craving American they have mashed potatoes!

Menu has about 10,000 items. Food marginal, at best.

Eaay to paaa up if you're not from the area but well worth the visit! Excellent food and service.

This is by far the best Mexican restaurant in the area. The service is great and the staff is friendly. I have been here many times. We always get the make your own combo items. The chicken burrito, enchilada and tamale is good. They have decent margaritas and the prices are very reasonable. It is an enjoyable place to meet for lunch or dinner.

Wish they at lesst pretended the food wasnt microwaved...

I love Mexican food, so I have eaten probably tons in my lifetime. This place is SO GOOD!!! I literally felt like I was eating from someone's personal kitchen. The ingredients tasted of freshness and quality. I daydream about the queso and taquitos often.

We had the sampler meal and it was alot of food! The margaritas were delicious! However, we did not like the sauce served with the enchilada. The guacamole was good, but I have enjoyed better elsewhere. Service was good.

The fish tacos were moldy! I called to let them know and she couldn t understand what I was trying to say. We did not eat our entire $30 meal as a precautionary. I am sure a lot of people will be sick tonight from this.

What an incredible experience here. Me and my wife stopped in for lunch on 8/14/14 we had Jamie as our server. Everything was perfect. From our drinks, to our food. To our surprise, Jamie brought us desert on the house. She must have saw us walk in and saw "Just Married" on the back of my pick up truck. It was awfully kind and very much appreciated. I recommend this place to all, I know we will be back!

The menu items I have purchased are very good. If you dine in they have very unique booths with dim lighting.

Fantasic food. Large selection. Little pricey for mexican food. Will go back.

I would say this would be my last resort if I couldn't go anywhere else. It's just something about the taste of the food that gets me .

Awesome meals! Best Mexican food in Willoughby (besides Barrios)! Great service and the food was served hot with generous portions! The salsa and guacamole are homemade. We will definitely be back again!!

The waitress cant count..Gave the wrong change then wanted to argue on why she was right and I was wrong. Shes augmentative..she was rude. We will not go back!

After dinner rush experience, service and food were both great.

Food was good but the internet was down so they couldn't take cards. That isn't a problem but they didn't tell me that until I was done eating. Luckily I had cash on me.

Restaurant was very clean. Nice decor. Authentic music to set mood. Booth seats were comfortable. Full bar. Service was friendly and quick. Servers checked on us often. Food was delicious. Large amounts for reasonable cost. Wide variety on the menu. All around great experience. I would definitely recommend and come back.

I will start by saying food was great as always. Visited on Cinco De Mayo 2019 so I was prepared for it to be busy with a wait.I waited over an hour for my food. (Which wasn't even the problem because my friend and I enjoyed some beverages in the mean time.) My problem was that 2 parties that came in behind me received and damn near finished their meals and we hadn't received ours. When brought to the manager's attention, I was told that they were busy with uber eat orders. He later came back and said to see him and bill would be discounted for the wait. KICKER.. At the registered he came up and I said we were ready. He looked me dead in my face and kept walking. Very disappointing.

Obsessed with this restaurant!! I needed a new Mexican restaurant to go to after moving from Akron, Cocos is my new favorite!

I don't know if this is Mexican, tex-mex, or whatever, but I like to think of this s Mexican-American. This isn't a Rick Bayless joint ... It's more like George Lopez or Cheech Marin. You'll find a large menu selection (with numbers) of traditional favorites and also ala-cart. large burritos, great fajita platters, combos and of course: tacos. Lunch menu is separate which is a bit of a bummer, but they make up for it by having an awesome (yet small) dessert menu. The chimi-cheesecake is delicious! Oh! best chips and salsa in town!

I ordered steak and chicken fajitas which came out hot but lat the juiciness and flavor that I would normally expect in a fajita. The service was very good though. In my opinion you need the service and the food to be what you would expect.

Overall, the food is fantastic but the black beans were kind of bland. Try the guacamole - it's worth every penny!

One of The best restaurants in lake county. But whatever you do, don't let them know it's your birthday or you'll be in for a grand surprise! Summary: great spot, great food, excellent service... Oh and the tiki bar is prime!
