This is my fave local catch-up spot. Love the food, friendly staff and vibe here. The quality of the coffees are amazing and it's a bonus that they cater to non-dairy drinkers must not forget their fab cocktails too!

Loved it! Great to be able to get a nice cup of tea late at night. I didn't have any food but that looked great too. There was a really nice bustly vibe there.

I like it, but the Ho Chi Minh chic is a bit disconcerting.
This is a really interesting place with lots of little rooms each having it's own character. This isn't a place you can book for food so make sure you get there a little early to get a table. The food is really good and is a good portion size. There is always room for a side or two to share. Good selection of beers and cocktails. Happy hour is available on cocktails. Beers are a smidgen on the expensive side. I will go again during the day to see how it works as a coffee house

Excellent coffee with a relaxed and visually impressive decor. Cafe itself is larger than it appears, and staff are always helpful.
Accidentally charged us for an extra meal, they realised when the wrong thing came to our table, refunded and gave us a cocktail for our troubles. Sorted out very professionally. Food was great too, good portions and super tasty... Try the Seabass.

I am a Vietnamese-American that has an intense love of Vietnamese food and has also traveled to Vietnam several times being with family and enjoying amazing Vietnamese food. So, my girlfriend and I went searching for good Vietnamese food in Nottingham and stumbled upon this place. I am happy to say the food was delicious and tasted very authentic. We both had Pho, Vietnamese spring rolls, and Banh Khot pancakes. I would wholely recommend people interested in trying a new and healthy cuisine to come to this place and try out delicious Vietnamese food!
Surprisingly good pho though slightly overpriced for what you get. The location is excellent with an upstairs courtyard that'll be lovely in summer.

Incredible Vietnamese food, lots of varieties of Asian beer, incredibly good cocktails, wide selection of specialist coffee. Lovely friendly staff, lovely decor and atmosphere. Really cannot rate this place highly enough. They are also open until 2am and serve food until 10 so it is great as a late evening dinner.

The food was unexpected-i wandered in hoping to just get a cake but there's a menu for food to suit everyone's taste. I will say it's a tad pricey too but high quality.
Decor is unique and eye catching, with 2 levels and a choice of eating on a sheltered terrace. Here, you can watch the chefs hard at work prepping your meals.
The staff are wonderful too, with everyone saying thank you and goodbye and you leave.
Good atmosphere and decent food. Get a table and then order at the till by the entrance. Portions are good and staff is friendly and attentive. Might put off people that don't want to walk up and down to order food and drinks. When it's busy you might have to share table which is fine with me but might not be everyones cup of tea.
Coco tang always delivers. Great food, great atmosphere and great music. I recommend the BBQ chicken particularly, or the brownie for a sweeter treat. So glad they've opened it, exactly what Nottingham needs.

Good food. Very busy. Table far too close to the bar, so the staff kept having to squeeze through which was a little annoying.
Brilliant place, loved the mood and really cosy. Staff were friendly and happy to help. Food was utterly delicious and properly authentic. The outside garden wasn't too cold and was a really nice place to be. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to try something new or just wanting a damn good meal.
Amazing and beautiful Vietnamese cafe. The interior decorations is absolutely fantastic. I want my house to have decoration of that level! Don't know who looks after the plants but kudos to them for doing such an amazing job.

First time trying Coco Tang and the service was great, cocktails delicious and food was fresh and authentic. Loved it.
AMAZING! Ate here during the eat out to help out promotion but honestly even without the promotion, the food is a great price. The atmosphere is so cool, and the decor is beautiful!
The food was so fresh and delicious. They have vegan options, and my tofu meal was amazing and refreshing with a delicious combination of flavours.
My friends meat meals were great, massive hit!!

One of our favourite places in Nottingham. Excellent food, great cocktails and brilliant service. The aesthetic is original and really adds to unique dining experience in Nottingham! It also has a nightclub in the basement with a very reasonable happy hour on cocktails. We had a great anniversary meal here and were battered by about 10:30 having enjoyed restaurant happy hour and then in the nightclub. Nice!

Working from here with my collegue was probably one of the only shifts I enjoyed thanks to those cakes and hot chocs... A good place for cocktails in the evening too.. very quirky
I wasn't sure about this place to begin with, I had only been there for drinks and the menu didn't seem to attract me too much. However, I took the plunge and gave the food a go. IT. IS. AMAZING. The menu is very scarce, but anything you choose will be a winner.
Also, very good price for the quantity and quality you receive.
Nottingham was lacking a place like Cafe Coco Tang. It s a cool place to hang out with great food, drinks and music. Different to any place I have been to before. Highly recommend.

Such a wonderful place. The staff is very friendly and the coffees are just the best. Not to mention that the place is very relaxing and nice, which is a great bonus to the overall experience.

The manager came to me and informed me that there was a no laptop policy at weekends and that as it was not busy he would let me keep it open, but if more people came in he would ask me to put it away.
This generous offer was not necessary as I left immediately.
Finding a decent place to work when one is solo isn't easy, and this is not the place where you'll be welcomed.
200 Degrees and many others offer a real welcome to those of us who are working solo and need some caffeine - head there instead.
