Pretty cool experience! Take your time and be patient with the amount of people and you'll do just fine. I reccomend getting the city pass if you want to do multiple attractions like the zoo, aquarium, ect. History was really interesting. The tasting room was awesome but be advised that the floor gets a super sticky close to the machines. I might be biased but I really enjoyed the North American sodas especially Fanta Berry and Barqs Red Cream.
I called with a question after I bought my tickets and the person on the other end was both polite and friendly. I had a friend visiting from out of town and we went to visit the World of Coke together, him for the first time and me for the first time in about a decade. We did a self guided tour which allowed us to take in the exhibits at our own pace. However the staff are very courteous and ready to answer any questions you may have whether you are on an official tour or not. There are a good number of things to interact with and cater to the attention of children while for adults. There is plenty of history/nostalgia to read about/view in the various display windows. The drink tasting was as exciting as I remember it being from all those years ago and I would certainly recommend the World of Coke to anyone who hasn't been or hasn't been in a while.
Nice place to visit especially if you like Coke. I like that you can tour at your own pace. The highlight was sampling Coke from all over the world. Many quite tasty...China had the worst.
Pay 17 bucks to be bombarded with a bunch of coke propaganda. Make you sit through a bunch of videos that are supposed to make you experience some kind of emotion, and have nothing to do with coke.
At least you get to try cool flavors that they sell in other countries.
Worth to go if you travel in Atlanta. The history of coca-cola is interesting to see. And you got the chance to taste a ton of exotic flavors of drinks.
This was a nice experience.everything is perfectly organized.Loved the 4D movie.Staff is friendly.kids love taking pictures with the polar bear. There is an unlimited amount of coke products from around the world you can taste. What an amazingly fun place to visit.
A fun experience for the entire family! It has 3 theaters, one of them 4D. The staff was very friendly. In the VIP tour, our guide explained the significance of the items in the museum. The tasting room was the best. Although some flavors were godawful, some of them were pretty good. I had a terrific time!
Fun though i went on a Wednesday and s few things on the tour were not offered. Fun and happy staff makes you feel welcome. A lot of history is about the brand is given to you in a fun colorful way. Definitely bring your children. Military id will get you in free. Definitely worth doing while you're in atlanta and it is just down the street from Mercedes Benz stadium and State Farm (Phillips) arena. While the i definitely recommend trying the Beverley drink from Europe before you leave.
You guide yourself around, and you have to pay for pictures with the Coca Cola Polar Bear which sould have been free in my opinion. You do get a free can of Coke at the beginning. But I don't think I'll be returning.
First, I want to say how absolutely amazing the staff (my co-workers) are. EVERYONE always goes above and beyond for our guest!
Second, I m going too say if your looking at these reviews trying to decide if you want too visit the WOCC... The answer is easy... VISIT THE WORLD OF COCA COLA. I have been through the tour three times and one of those times I took my three small children (by myself) and it was so stress free! They loved EVERYTHING from the countdown in the lobby to the intro in the vault and lets not forget and the polar bear and their most favorite part THE TASTE IT ROOM. After the 4D THEATRE I got mixed feelings. My 9 year old and 4 year old loved the 4D theatre but my 8 year old was taken off guard and didn t like it at first but than came to enjoy it.
I can GUARANTEE you will not be disappointed!
PS... while your in the lobby if your host is Ebby or Elaine than you are in for a treat. They are very entertaining!!!
Fun atmosphere, interesting facts, and lots of history are all good reasons to check out the World of Coca-Cola. The tasting room at the end makes for a unique experience, featuring flavors from around the world.
Fun place to go and see all there is to know about coke. There bottling factory is really neat to watch and the history of the company is pretty interesting.
This was another ticket in the Atlanta City Pass ans was one of the better experiences we had. The kids really enjoyed the world of Coke but their favorite part was at the end where they could try Coke products from around the world.
If you're a fan of the ubiquitous soft drink, this is a must. Incredibly good presentation and lots to do, including interactive exhibits, tastings, and even a 3D movie (temper your expectations). Pavilion with soft drinks from around the world is definitely the highlight of the visit. Consider visiting this and the CNN studio tour in the same outing as they're very close to one another.
If you want to have the best experience of the life then you surely must visit the World Of Coca Cola. This place located in Atlanta is the birth place of the most refreshing drink ever the coke. General Admission tickets are $17+taxes per person. The money paid I'd worth it and you will get much more than you could have ever imagined. It's a long tour and you need atleast 4-5 hours to complete the tour. Tickets can also be bought online.
I love the World of Coca-Cola museum!! My mom took me to this museum a few years ago and I loved it! I surprised my husband on his birthday and traveled 6 hours to take him here. He really loved it and I am so glad I could enjoy it again with him! The staff were sooo friendly to us as soon as we entered the museum. They even gave my husband a "Guest of the Day" coca-cola pass. We pray we can visit again in the near future!! Thanks for making my husband's first visit and my second visit a wonderful BLAST!!!
Unless you like being hurded like cows in large groups I would avoid this! Not worth the money and I honestly wanted to leave and get a refund after the first 2 minutes.
The history behind it was amazing and very informative! I liked the 4-D movie and also my favorite was the sampling of the sodas from all over the world from Asia, North America, South America and Europe! The price was well worth it!
Pack a little patience as people are admitted to the museum in large groups for the introductory tour. This gets a little confusing for people. The tasting room is the most fun!
Loved it!!!! Don't be scared of the long line out front, they are incredibly efficient and it goes quickly. Absolutely LOVED trying the different cokes from around the globe.
We enjoyed the tour and of course my kids only wanted to go for the drinks at the end. I suggest trying to go on a day when it is less crowded. Four stars because I feel there wasn't a lot to do. I loved seeing all the memorabilia, but would have liked something more interactive for my kids.
The place to be visited if you are in Atlanta (and like sodas in general and Coca-Cola specially). Here you can see the story of Coca-Cola, how a production line works, you can play in a lot of interactive attractions and, taste many, many, many options of sodas and Coca-Cola flavors
If you are a fan of Coca-Cola, for sure this is a must see! Literally everything about the history of this drink can be found here. I spent 2-3h to see everything.
Great! Loved all the flavors of cokes, that was a blast trying flavors with my toddlers I had my 3 and 2 and newborn with me and mom and nephew and nieces who are teens and they enjoyed as well. I just wish it was good somewhere you can buy from coke cola but it s not but the street cart had some yummy food they offered all hotdogs and sausages and vegan hotdogs and chips and then drinks. So that was nice we waited in a long line because it was the free world of Coca Cola day, so we had to get food the wait was 2 hours so if you ever GO ON A FREE DAY BE PREPARED TO WAIT 1-2 HOURS AND have snacks but we enjoyed ourselves and played games and talked while we waited!
It s obligatory but I wouldn t go if it was super crowded. Neat to see the history and there are plenty of neat artifacts. The introduction video and the tasting room is the best part IMO. You do have to leave through the massive gift shop, which is a pain. If you like Coke, try the limited edition Georgia Peach flavor. It s delicious and should be a national flavor - you can find it in the coolers close to the registers. Also - use the restroom before you enter the gift shop. There are no more restrooms past that point.
Pros: Coca Cola drinks from around the World available here during your tour. Many bits of memorabilia about CocaCola featured within the first 10 minutes of the tour. Large facility that's pretty well taken care of. Staff were pretty nice and did their job well.
Cona: $17/person for one long Coca-Cola commercial. The "4D" movie was basically broken. Seats were uncomfortable and most ofy family felt motion sickness after it. Not many features that were very entertaining.
4 stars for the overall experience, but -1 for the price. The "vault" where the original recipe is is dumb. Skip it because it is a massive build up to a steel safe. The drinks of the world is pretty nice, as are some of the theatre pieces. Overall, it is selling you coke as happiness. The brand has been wildly successful at it.
On the other hand, the center of human rights is near by and probably more worthwhile.
Meh! I do not see the point of going to this place. Basically you are paying for coke to market themselves to you. They cover the history of coke, let you taste the different flavors of coke from different places around the world. If that interests you, then go for it!
Not a big Coke fan but had a very good time here. Our guide was fun and made a point to speak to everyone and the 6 min video was well done. We really liked the historical exhibit and seeing all of the old Coke adverts. The tasting room was last and we didn t try them all, but it was neat to see what was popular where. Just be careful where you step, super sticky in there.
Very informative. You will recieve a guided tour. You also get a small can of Coca-Cola when you enter. They have a tasting room on the second floor where you can taste Coca-Cola from all over the world. There is also a 4D theather where they play a short film. It's a great experience.
World of coca-cola is fun packed, never a dull moment. The only down side is having to wait for your turn because there's a lot of people wanting to get in. Once in, you forget about all the hassles. I reccomend a visit to the 4d presentation for every visitor. It's really a fun place to visit in Atlanta.
Everything was great and the ticket price is good. I visited Atlanta for a conference and went to Word of Coca-Cola as first attraction to visit. The parking is very pricy its even more expensive than Miami beach valet The reason why I gave 4 stars was because the gift shop is super high.
Interesting place, most of our uber drivers suggested the aquarium but since it was our first time in Atlanta, the world of Coke seemed more the unique option. Got to see the history of the brand and try a few Coca Cola brands from all around the world.
We were in Atlanta for business and wanted to see a few of the sites. When eating at a local restaurant the server asked what we wanted to drink ... my husband said a Pepsi. He replied with, "Sir, we don't use the 'P' word here, just the 'C' word " So, if you like Coke, then this is your place! Lots of memorabilia and a tasting room too.
The World Of Coca Cola was an amazing experience. There were fun exhibits, enthusiastic staff members, and The Vault was a highlight. I also really enjoyed the tasting section for free sodas. In the end, it is a must visit if you are in Atlanta!
A little too staged From the entrance to all the exhibits everything required a line that you had to wait in. this was either because of the volume of people or due to the fact that the exhibits where "somewhat" self-guided. Certainly not somewhere I would take children younger than 4-5. Needed more spaces where you can truly self-guide and interact with the exhibits.
Great tourist attraction in Atlanta. There is a guided tour and a self tour, with a variety of things to see and different coke flavors to try. In total it was roughly two hours well spent to see everything on a Saturday afternoon.
I never thought I would like this place but it was a blast! There was lots to do and I got to try more kinds of soda than I even knew existed. You can be in and out in an hour or you can stay the whole afternoon, totally up to you. The gift shop was awesome. I bought a bunch of Coca-Cola stuff that's all around my house now.
