My 14 week pregnant partner was in a car crash, and the EMT's at the scene suggested that I take her to the ER and we request an ultrasound to check on our new and growing family members. When we got to the front desk at the ER, my partner, whom is understandably emotional, tells them about how she was hit (almost head on, mind you) and says that we really wanted to check on the baby and get an ultrasound to make sure that their fine. The guy at the front proceeds to tell us that "we don't get to show up to the hospital and make demands. We will receive the tests that they think are needed." Shortly there after the doctor shows up in our room and things take another step down. My partner begins telling the doctor of the crash and says I'm really worried about the baby, im cramping badly, before she can even finish the doctor cuts her off and says "okay, so i have a list of questions I need to run through. I just need you to answer." My partner responds, okay im just worried about the cramping with my baby. Again, the doctor cuts her off and says "i heard you the first time." Then this guy starts pushing on my partner to check for injury and pain. He gets to her belly and she says to him, please be careful I have a hernia, to which the doctor replies "Ha, I have one in the same spot, only its about 10 times bigger. You're fine." The ultrasound tech was amazing, kind and patient. Which is the only reason this is getting two stars. If you can handle the drive, I would highly recommend going to any other hospital for ER services then the one here. Don't get me wrong, there are awesome medical professionals in our town, the ER, however, does not include such a wide list. I am disappointed, angry, and overall insulted. If you enjoy being treated like a child, talked down too like a druggie, horrible bed side manner, and a facility with more misdiagnosis than you can shake a stick at; visit our local ER. This message has been brought to you by small town citizens tired of being treated like lesser human beings. Thanks for y'alls time. -CJ

While on vacation with my family this past weekend I fell and fractured both of my ankles. Cobre Valley was the closest hospital so my husband transported me there. My left ankle I fractured my joint- my right ankle was dislocated and fractured. The WORST pain I have ever personally experienced. I stayed at Cobre Valley 4 days and received exceptional care during my entire visit. From the emergency room to my room in the inpatient. Every single staff member made me feel safe, secure, and welcome. Every single shift went above and beyond to make sure that every need I had was met. I would not have received the same quality care from a hospital back home. My surgeon was very experienced and had amazing bed side manor, he even assisted in setting up my transfer of care to a specialist that he trusted back in my home city. The food was the true definition of hospital food, but reality is if I ever had to experience it again, I would be okay. The quality of care I received really set the bar for my expectations in the future. Thank you so much for taking care of me and making sure that I was not only taken care of but also comfortable during every step of the process.

My dad recently presented with a sore throat and some mild mid-chest pain. He was thinking COVID. Unfortunately, turned out to be a heart attack - the staff was extremely attentive, expedient, and efficient. They respected my dad's point of view and us as family as well (even if we weren't always right!) and kept us on track for the best treatment options. It was a short ER visit, but my dad and I are very happy with the care and quick response he received.

On October 25, 2020, my husband went to Cobra Valley Medical Center in Globe with a broken hip, Dr. Croft suggested doing surgery and put 3 screws into the broken hip, instead of a hip replacement, my husband was sent to Heritage Nursing home for rehab, after 8 weeks, he came home and was still in a lot of pain. On January 19 Dr. Croft suggested removing the 3 screws, which he did as an out patient surgery, he was sent home, the hip never healed, he ended up going to Mesa for a complete hip replacement, during these 3 plus months he has been in constant pain. We are quite disappointed that it was not a hip replacement in the beginning like it should have been.

I will never have enough good things to say about Dr. Michael Bryan, OBGYN. Not only is he a phenomenal physician who actually cares about his patients, but he is an incredible human being who truly cares for people. Wonderful bedside manner, talks to you like a friend. I have never met another like him, and I'm sad he practices so far away now. But that didnt stop me from making the 2 hour drive from the valley to go see him. He saved my life after my first baby, and I will never forget the profound influence he had on me during that time of my life. Cobre is lucky to have him!

I was traveling through town and needed to go here. I was a little worried about the mixed reviews but this place was amazing. They were so kind and thorough and I truly feel like they cared about me and my well being.

I'm out of state and trying to take care of my Dad. These guys did a great job of taking care of him, and then, discharging him into a safe location. Communication has been a little rough because the phones were for a bit, but I'm thankful they took care of Dad.
