This is an update on a previous review. We were upset at the initial lack of communication, but once Coastal came to the house, they did a fine job in making sure things were right. They wired things correctly, explained their work, and left making sure things were in good shape.
By all accounts working with them was a positive experience.

Our current experience with coastal is abysmal. The lack of call backs?
After easily 4 or 5 messages, all of which were never returned, I get an operator who eventually schedules her staff to come out, then 2 hours later they call back to postpone the work. We ve been waiting close to a month for them to do some repair work and simply explain some wiring choices.
They did the wiring and security in our new home, and we had to hand hold them through the entire process. First they did the wiring incorrectly in our office, installing the wrong jack in the wrong room. The security system isn t functioning (luckily we re not paying monthly for it, yet, and may not).
Finally we have ancillary and redundant ports spread out throughout the damn house that we can t so much get an explanation for. The jacks of which we didn t request, and for the jacks we did request, no one seems to know why they aren t there, or where the adapters went that support these random ethernet jacks.
I ll update this review when they actually come out to do the work, but in the mean time working with Coastal has been nothing short of an awful experience.
