I don't know what I would do if this place wasn't here for me If this place wasnt here i would be dead

Not helpful very ruled disrespectful employees to be working in a place that says they here to help people.
Never want to go back but im in need of help so bad.

I've been here since July & I'm doing very well. In the beginning u go to IOP for 3 mos., then 2xmo.U will get & stay clean if u want it.

Coastal Horizons is a wonderful place for those who need some help with their addiction, and are willing to take the program seriously. I started at costal horizons over a year and a half ago, and will soon be leaving. They got me into their program within a week of inquiring about it, and their staff are all incredibly friendly. At previous clinics I have been treated poorly and the staff had a crazy turnover rate, but at coastal I have had the same wonderful counselor almost the whole time, and have always been treated with dignity and respect. Yes, their program has some strict rules, but if you are truly in recovery you should have absolutely no problem following them and moving forward with your treatment. While I hear other people complaining in the waiting room , I personally have never had a negative experience at coastal horizons. It is a one stop shop for MAT, counseling, and primary care. I believe the structure that coastal horizons has provided me has helped me immensely in my recovery, and I am so happy that I decided to go to coastal for treatment.

Lady at front desk very rude and mean. I'll take my blue cross blue shield somewhere else. Thats all there after anyway.

I don't understand a place that will not help you. I was trying to transfer from another clinic with clean drug screens yet they will not accept me. I've been trying to get into this clinic for 2 mos. now and they have said no again. Why won't they help me? I'm just trying to stay clean! Is that not the purpose of going to a methadone clinic? I just wish they would help!

They have helped me in many different ways..At first it was a little unorganized,but then if you took things to the right person they would work it out.I get all of my doctors at the same place and I get my meds there also..People can say what they want,but half the time they don't have a clue about the program.They judge the place on hear say and word of mouth and then they bad mouth but don't know Jack what there saying..This is my personal opinion everybody has one

If I could give a negative review I would! They told my councilor from md all I needed was the doctor to give permission as wel as my councilor and had me wait for four hours to tell me and my home clinic that they don t have a provider on call and will not be able to dose me. So with almost no hope we called metro treatment center in new Hanover and boy were they a breath of fresh air compared to Costal Horizons!!! Not only that the security guard got in my face and the spit that flew from his mouth getting in my face telling me I can t use my phone when I was telling the nurse what the councilor was saying in Maryland hit me in the face and followed me around , and told the receptionist I was some junkie trying to get free drugs! This place is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE! They are absolutely not helpful at all and are a joke, who ever finds this place should go in on an undercover boss as a guest dose and see how their staff treats guests from out of state!!! Discussing disgraceful and seriously an embarrassment to what the program can do for people ! I hope someone comes in and improves their customer service skills ! I will absolutely never think of trying to return here nor referring anyone! I suggest you turn away imeadiately !!!!!!

I know someone that goes there. They want off the methadone. Yet this place seems to keep stringing people along. They make it so hard to get decreased so you can get out of the program. This place needs to be shut down for medical malpractice

Not the greatest place if you need help in recovery. Not enough person time. Its all about number, statistics, and money to these people

I've been waiting over a month to see a psychiatrist. They've made me reschedule twice now and my situation isn't improving while I'm waiting. The therapist they've set me up with is very nice and the sessions are helpful. The staff in general are pleasant. Be prepared to wait to get on any sort of medication.

Great place to get clean. There is so much help there for so many things, all you have to do is ask!

Coastal Horizons has an abundant and live resource set that has helped me tremendously on my path back to wellness. I strongly suggest anyone seeking help for their mental and physical needs to check them out because if they don't have what you need they will create it.

I go to the methadone clinic that they have as a courtesy or guest dose. I have 13 take homes and have had flying colors for clean UAs, counseling and a the things to keep my record clean. This place won't give me them and makes me go every single day....
It's rediculious. I have to pay out of pocket to use there facility which is fine but I shouldn't be going every day. It's not right or fair. I know different places different rules but come on that's brutal. Other than that I think everyone there is extremely nice, the staff I mean. And I never wait very long. They don't make it easy to travel and be on.methadone. lol

I've been there since October 17,2017 was day i started went through hell to get in took 3 times longer than I was told ... also be care what u say to certain people they will take it and use it against you..... get help get clean life's so much better...

Want money to charge you money. They won't do basic services without milking you for a consultation before your real visit.

They are mainly a substance abuse treatment center. They offer mental health services, but you will have to pay about $15 per appointment whether it's med management or therapy. I did not have this problem at Helping Hands. if you have medicaid/insurance good but ther are lots of other places that are better that accept medicaid. I went 4 months without seeing a therapist because the receptionists refuse to set up the appointment and because of that I ended up in the hospital never again will I go there.

Coastal has a very caring staff and A lot of resources to access. It's a pretty tight knit community of recovery.

This place is pure garbage. They have terrible communication and availability. My wife had a blood clot and several other serious conditions need refferal to specialists, it took them 4 months to do anything. Do not go here under any circumstances.

Front counter personnel look down and try to be-little you treating you like you are not equal to them. They need treatment to learn how to treat people.
