Coastal Credit LLC Review

First off if I could give them a -1 star I would! They took money out of my account WITHOUT PERMISSION and now will not return it! How can a company do this?

WORST FINANCE COMPANY TO DO BUSINESS WITH. THEY WONT HONNOR THEIR APPROVALS, DEALER FRIENDS DONT WASTE YOUR TIME. THERE MANGERS KEEP FEELING ON FIGER TIPS ONLY IF TOP MANAGEMENT AND OWNERSHIP KNEW HOW HORRIBLE AND IRRESPONSIBLE THERE GA TEAM WORKS.

Absolutely ruthless scammers... All they do is take... Ive never even seen a hungry dog this aggressive and never worked with a company so pathetic.... How do y'all sleep at night? I hope your family gets scammer loans from people like you... Just so you can consider what it is you are doing... May the lord have mercy on you and your pathetic wanna-be-business...

We bought our 2015 Lancer from Coastal Credit in 2014. The only issue I had was when my husband broke his ankle so I had requested they hold the payment for 2 weeks until I got paid because my husband was out of work because he couldn't drive because it was the right ankle that broke and he drove a semi. DOT kind looks down looks down on that. Anyways they didn't take the payment out like I had requested, but they also didn't take the makeup payment out, so ultimately that made us 1 month behind on our payment. They would call everyday and I would ignore the calls. Finely one day I answered the phone, and the guy was nice and helpful. He stated that we had had the vehicle for 2 years and we paid on time with every payment they could help us get our account in good standings. He did exactly that. He moved the missed payment to the end of our loan, and it never reflected on our credit report. It was a combination of faults between them and me messing up on the paper request to move the payment for that month, but thankfully they helped us fix it and we stayed in good standings with them. After that I have not missed anymore payments, and have not gotten anymore unwanted calls from them. The other day we traded in our Lancer for a VW and have gone through a different finance company and I am terrified to deal with the new company because I have read their reviews and they are awful. I'm just going to hope and pray that I have a good experience with the new company the way I did with Coastal Credit. Thank you Coastal credit for helping us in our time of need, and for getting our credit better. I would recommend Coastal Credit to anybody.

By far the worst finance company I have had. We were a traveling military family when we got a car loan through them. I purchased my vehicle in August of 2014. They didn't report it to my credit until April of last year. They think because the fixed this, that they helped me out. Well in 3 straight years of on time payments, my score should at the very least be 100 points more than it is. My wife is now out of the military, we wanted to use our VA loan, but they reported that we didn't have enough credit history, and our score wasn't high enough. This completely altered our lives, and now we're struggling to even trade in the vehicle. Every manager I have talked to have been rude. The only decent person I've had was Nikea. I definitely don't recommend, and will never use them again.

Anytime I talk to a male representative they're so rude! They have talked down to me numerous times. "they always loose proof of my payments until I send them screenshots that it did come out of my bank." the lack of respect and professionalism is astounding. The only reason I went with them is I had 0 credit and was purchasing my first vehicle on my own. I can't wait to refinance with a new company.

If you can find another lender, I would go with that route.

LOCAL MILITARY STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!! This place should get no stars. But since thats not an option.....1 shall surfice. This place threatens to sue disabled veterans and doesn't support the military. The customer service reps are rude and wont work with you. This is by far the WORST company to use to finance a car loan with. They dont care, all they want is their money. Even when money is offered to them they wont take it??? Apparently when a veteran is trying to clear up debt, they dont want to deal with it. Do your research!

This is literally thee absolutely worst company in the world to work with. For the love of god, if you have an opportunity to walk away from a loan from them DO IT!!!

Geico paid off total loss vehicle 7/11. Gap insurance is held by creditor so here it is 7/25 and they harassing me for a payment. They want a payment and when I asked if I will get it back once YOUR insurance department finishes claim the reply was that s not my department. They said to keep account in good standing do deferment, we ll gap won t cover anything you do a deferment on. So they are dragging their feet and harassing me to get a payment or two before they pay it off. Horrible, horrible, horrible.

If I could give this company zero stars I would.... I called them to get the paperwork on a vehicle my ex husband and I financed through them and the man I spoke to on the phone was very rude and unprofessional even hung up on me twice because he didnt want to help me get the paperwork I needed... Call me multiple obseen names..... His name was Justin btw.... Rude isnt even the word for him

After 8 months with them I finally refinanced with another company. Coastal continually calls u and your references a day after a payment is due. Worst company ever.

I only gave them a star because there is no option for 0 stars. This company is a nightmare! Very unprofessional and made very difficult the transaction to our bank! If you can stay away from this company!

Just plain rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional. I was told 55.50 for a deferment and when I called in to do so, they charged me the late fee anyway for the month so I said something about that and the rep got an attitude talked to me like trash.. I asked to speak with someone else and paid it. I deferred last year and they didn't charge me a late fee. Doesn't make sense but I'm actually put off by the people more then having to pay the late fee. This is not the first time I've been talked to like this.. Very unprofessional

Just found out they transfered all my information about my loan and payments with out my knowledge to a Westlake company that I never heard of or consented to do after 5 months of making on time payments ....wow

I didnt have great credit so I was happy to have them accept me. They have a high
interest rate, but without good credit, thats to be expected I guess. They will work with you if you contact them. They will call all day if you do not contact them and you get behind even 10 days. Overall they take high risk people and they charge the highest rates allowed to do it. If you pay on time for 6-9 months, you can refinance with a ctedit Union. Pretty Average financial company.

DON NOT FINANCE HERE!!! These people are savagely aggressive collectors they will terrorize you, your family, and your place of employment and I've never been more than 30 days past due during the life of my loan. My credit is not great so I was happy to be approved until the first time I spoke time with a rep who thought he was my father. I have purchased 3 vehicles via buy here pay here lots and now wish I had done the same this time. Trust me. Do not give them your business.

I like this company all u got to do is pay your bill

Paid off my car over two months ago and still have not received my title in the mail and cannot get an email or call back..

BE AWARE OF WICKED BANKERS AND CREDITORS SUCH AS COASTAL CREDIT. THINGS MAY BE FINE NOW BUT IF INDEED SOMETHING HAPPENS IN LIFE AND YOU CANNOT FULFILL THE PAYMENTS AND WHATEVER YOU ARE DOING ISNT ENOUGH.
YOU CAN BE HOMELESS AND DISABLED, THEY WILL COME ABD REPOSSES YOUR VEHICLE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT. THEY ARE HEARTLESS PEOPLE(MOST).
Their team has been rude sincr day one. I hope this place gets shut down and everyone involved in my repossesion gets what they got coming to them.
