Today my daughter showed up to take an Accuplacer test, the person at the entrance told her in a loud voice that she could not enter because she did not have an ID, my daughter is 14 years old and is in 9th grade of CCHS, and still She does not have her ID and she did not want to accept her, the 8th grade did not even let her speak and did it in a very abusive way, we returned again to my husband, and he told him in a loud voice to leave, my husband told him that we needed help that It is the first time that we did that, and that my daughter was only 14 years old and did not have a license as the lady at the entrance had requested, I just want to ask that the people who are at the reception should be kind and give options or in this case ask more questions to help, more in an educational institution, because until he saw an adult he deigned to help

I set up my classes almost 3 weeks in advance with an advisor. A week before classes were supposed to start (today) I called and talked to 3 seperate people. A man in the advisor office, a woman at the cashiers office, and a woman in the financial aid office. Each person confirmed my payments were set up and I was good to go for classes. I went on an out of state trip and came home to DOZENS of texts and emails saying my classes were getting dropped. I paid $50 to keep the classes, and I was still dropped from my classes. I called and talked to an advisor who said there was basically nothing they could do, and told me that a higher up would call me. Its been a week since then and I still havent heard anything, I still dont have my money back. Im heartbroken and distraught. Every time ive tried to call since speaking with the advisor, ive been hung up on every single time. CNM preaches inclusitivity, then excludes the disabled students. Absolutely ridiculous and im still fuming.

The classes in my two year program have not been available frequently enough for me to graduate sooner. Furthermore, they recycle materials from other classes and so each class feels like the one before it. Also, now that classes are online only, there are far less services available than ever. The materials would be better served to students in a FTP accessible file format than in Brightspace or Blackboard or whatever other cumbersome UI they wish to dump on you. You may be penalized academically if you cannot access materials or are unwilling to put phishy software on your computer. Sad. I miss TVI.

I love CNM so much. I did so many dual credit classes through CNM and hands down, CNM is the best schooling around. Most of the professors want to teach their students and they want their students to succeed. They don t add on a ton of extra fees like four year colleges.
