The sign says $8 pints. The guy tried to charge me $12 and said that was happy hour despite the sign not saying anything about happy hour or any times at all. Then he had a little tantrum and slammed the eftpos machine down and called the manager. Whoops. Fix your sign or charge what the price says. You can t do both. Thanks. Bye.

Went there last night with a group of friends. Friendly vibe to the place. . Good selection of 1980's &1990's music .I have only 2 complaints. The first being that the volume was so loud that the sound was distorted and at times it was hard to pick the song playing. And the second is that the service was slow at times.
Both issues could be easily fixed.

A Retro bar is supposed to be a place for dancing ...

A Retro bar is supposed to be a place for dancing to great retro dance tunes, yet the DJ here seemed to have no concept of what this is. He played a few great dance tunes in between some really poor/lame choices - I mean, seriously, John Farnham's "You're The Voice" is a great Retro song, but it's dead boring in terms of a dance tune. I 'just don't understand why it's so hard. :(

Add this to ridiculously expensive drinks, like $13 for a Canadian Club (yes, that's no typo) and you have a club to avoid.

Great for old-school retro dance music, definately not the place to go for a catch up/chat with friends. Nightclub vibe, cover charge applies after 9PM. Typical drinks selection, not a craft beer venue. No food options upstairs in the club.
