Raye is the PERFECT destination in Paris for both locals and tourists alike! The atmosphere is stunning, the music is incredible, and the food and cocktails are amazing. It's really a throwback to the chic Paris of yesteryear, without feeling stuffy or dated, but quite the opposite. I am in Paris often for both work and for pleasure, and I intend to make at least three of four trips to Raye per trip, undoubtedly. And all of this is at a reasonable price? RUN, don't walk, to Club Raye, and you will be glad you did!!

I've been to Club Raye about six times already and it's only been opened a short while. I was absolutely delighted to find it had popped up in my neighbourhood.
I was tired of the bad wine and bad service and stuffy attitudes of the bars along Rue Montorgueil and decided to give Club Raye a try.
The rest is history and I consider it my only must-go to local now.
In Paris it's hard to find the chic old bars and clubs of the past that deliver something special.
From the stylish interior (think chic NY piano bar) to the world class wine list, great cocktails and stunning shared plates, this tucked away hidden gem down a cobbled side street, is worth uncovering.
Don't be tempted to fill up on the generous nibbles offered with your drinks free of charge. The tasting menu is exceptional as far as tasting plates go.
Club Raye feels like a nod to the more glamorous Paris of old where the club's owner Kein (a Paris transplant from NY) and makes everyone feel welcome.
If you just want to pop in for a solo drink at the bar or bring a group for open mic night, he's there to make sure you're happy.
There is no famous Parisian stuffy attitude here and you'll no doubt leave having made a few friends here. I plan to host our next soiree in the cave downstairs. Exceptional space. But truly it's Kein who makes this place sing. Well done to the Club Raye team. I'm thrilled to call you MY LOCAL.

I discovered this lovely place , walking around the Montergueil area . I was stunned by the atmosphere , as soon I walked inside . The vibe that the place have , is incredible . Mellow piano music , smiling staff , crisp decor , incredible drinks and delicious food made me fall in love with the place . I will go back to it , every time I ll have the chance ! You should too !

Upon entering, you are immediately taken back in time to the jazz age. The cocktail list is made up of both classics and more creative choices like a rose martini and expresso martini, which are all perfectly prepared and presented. Throughout our visit, a lovely soft piano played old classic pieces while we enjoyed the ambiance. What a real treat - great drinks, impeccable service, and a beautiful atmosphere. I cannot wait to return!

10 May 2014 - I organised an evening there for 25 of us. Kein Cross, the owner, was a wonderful host. He made sure that we had a great time. The decor is very chic in black and white and the ambiance very welcoming. The bartenders were very attentive and friendly. We will surely go back there again soon!

Terrible. Cool decor but full of obnoxious English tourists. Long wait to be served, cocktails we wanted were not available. Drinks took over half an hour to arrive, despite sitting at the bar. Underwhelming cocktail. Understaffed for a Saturday night and no live music?
