Old-time venue on the river right next to a great restaurant! Support your local arts!
Interesting and a great source of culture and entertainment, on a real grounded river boat!
Extremely satisfied with this musical! The actors/musicians were very talented. The entire time flew by. Left us wanting more. Highly recommend buying season tickets.
After seeing this summer's Go Dog Go and CATS, even my 5 year old is a dedicated fan of this theater! The shows are excellent, the theater itself is so close and intimate--not like seeing a show in a large auditorium--you are very close to the action unless you choose not to be! I love how the actors interact with the audience, and it's just fun for the fact that it's on a boat!
It was my first time to see a play at the show boat and I was very impressed! Several very talented singers and dancers! It was very entertaining! Loved it!
Food was very good service was ok . RockFalls food is terrible stay in Clinton
LOVE the caliber of the productions that we see at the Showboat! "Jesus Christ Superstar" was a great way to kick off the 2018 season!
Seasonal summer stock small Equity theater shows. Season subscriptions provide seatings when popular shows sell out.
An amazing slice of the BEST of summer theater. I've gone to performances for years, and they just keep getting better. Order tickets ahead, they sell out quickly!
We have season passes for the theater performances this summer. It is a great place to enjoy live theater!
Professional artists from around the country converge on the Clinton Showboat theater each summer to share their magic of acting!
Come and enjoy a performance!
Solid shows. Don't let the small-Iowa-town location fool you, they put on great stuff on that little stage
I love the showboat. Shows and talent were better when Tommy was there though. Glad he is at Festival 56 now in Princeton IL.
Good entertainment but the structure needs some updates.
Live theatre venue. Shows are quite good even tho the boat is old and in need of major structural and cosmetic attention.
Every show I have attended has been wonderful. There are no bad seats.
It is a very quaint and Well Done theater. The plays I done by the college students very enjoyable.
The shows here are great! They do wonderful, professional theater performances!
I saw Gentlemen's Guide To Love and Murder and it was excellent!
Friendly staff, atmosphere and wonderful shows! Give it a try and you will get hooked!
We saw Footloose. For a small venue it was a very good production. The only complaint I had was the balcony seats need a little more cushion.
Love this! Full of spirit and great drama! Fair price for local theater. Great entertainment that won't disappoint.
We have gone to Showboat a few times and every time they deliver a great performance! Highly recommend!
Great venue filled with great performers. Highly recommended!
Love their plays, restaurant nearby for dinner and drinks!
Great show "Shout the Mod Musical". Only problem is that in order to use the restroom during intermission you have to walk down two long ramps to another location
Not a bad seat in the house. Really great, memorable theater, outstanding talent, unique location. Love, love, love their musicals.
Just a fantastic experience! Very talented actors in quality shows, I would definitely go back.
Newsies was excellent! I would strongly recommend this musical. One of the best I have seen at the Showboat.
Excellent shows on a historic show boat. Now shored on the banks of the Mississippi. Professional theater in a small town is something to be cherished! I absolutely recommend attending at least one show each season, if not all five! Only drawback is inadequate parking, but if you're prepared for a stroll along the river it isn't much of an issue.
Such a gem! The Clinton Area Showboat Theater never fails to be a "wow!"
