Great course and friendly staff. Course plays a lot harder than the score card rating. Especially for a bogus golfer. Being tree lined you can get a bit blocked out if you spray the ball. It's definitely score able if your are hitting fairways and greens. Other than a few patches here and there, the course is always in great shape. There is also a fantastic par 3 course on top of the bluff.

Last weekend I hosted a bachelor/bachelorette party for 27 people. We golfed the par 3 course with dinner and drinks. The food was excellent, the service was professional and the course was very fun the the price for a group package was extremely reasonable. Everyone in the party was very impressed with the service that we received from Daniel, chief, and the service staff. Everyone in the group agreed the party was perfect and price was perfect. Every worker at Clifton Highlands was very appreciative for the business, friendly and knowledgeable. The group loved everything so much that we hope to go back every year! Thank you Clifton Highlands for a job well done.

Very enjoyable round. The greens are very challenging. Great variety of holes, especially the par 3s. 4 different par 3s required 4 different clubs from the tee!

Friendly staff. Great pace of play. It is definitely worth the drive from the Twin Cities. I can t wait to come back!

Clifton Highlands is a hidden gem. Really fun layout with some tight holes and some opportunities to bomb it off the tee. The greens came through the winter in great shape keep it below the hole or you ll wind up there! The staff was awesome. Grab lunch and a Spotted Cow at the turn. I ll definitely be back.

Played this course today and was impressed from start to finish! Has many challenges for all skill levels and if you think your putter is on its A game, this course might be the one to put that putter to work. You might think you re on a miniature golf course at times from complete shock at watching your ball roll back at you.
Tip: keep your approach shots below the hole and you re halfway to a successful round.
Can t wait to play it again soon!!

A hidden Gem! Clifton Highlands was referred to me from a friend and after playing the course for the first time, I can say it s definitely worth the drive coming from the Twin Cities across the border.

The course is in great shape, challenging layout, and most round played in under 4 hours. Today, played in 3 hrs 15 min!

The star of the show is Ken running the Pro Shop. I play 50+ rounds per year and you will not find a friendlier person anywhere. Customer Service is 10/10. My golf scores may be up and down but one constant is Ken being a nice guy and always thanking me for coming out and playing golf at Clifton.

I ve referred a buddy and he can t wait to play. I highly recommend!

A great scenic, tranquil track with challenging pin placements and a good mix of narrow and open fairways. It was fairly easy to find my ball in the rough (where I am often) as I didn't lose one ball all day and the pace was perfect.

The kicker is the staff and the service they provide: I am an expert when I comes to customer service and the service at Clifton Highlands is simply the BEST I have encountered at a golf course. They were professional yet down to earth with absoultely none of the "uppity, holier than thou" feel I perceive from some places. From Ken in the pro shop to Maddie behind the bar to the gentleman working the kitchen-I regret not getting his name-they were all unequivocally top-notch: friendly, attentive, welcoming and made me feel at home by going, what felt to me, "out of their way" (in a good way) to accomodate me! I wish every place I patroned in any industry made me feel as important. The service alone is enough to make me return for the punishment that is my golf game. I will definitely get some friends to check this place out! THANK YOU!

I really enjoyed this course. There are a handful of tight fairways and a few small greens. The greens were playing very fast today and they have a lot of undulations. I didn't have very many straight putts. Local knowledge is definitely needed if you are going to score well, as there are a ton of dogleg and if you knew where you could cut corners would help the score card. If you get off the fairway and into the rough you will most likely be battling trees the rest of ghe way to the pin. Fun course layout. Getting to the driving range is tricky, you have to go do in front of hole 1 tee box. Staff was very helpful and I believe the beverage cart came by us 4-5 times in 18 holes. For my first time playing this course, I would have to say I really enjoyed the challenge. I will definitely be back to see if I can improve on the score with the new found course knowledge.

More than worth the short trip from the Twin Cities. Clifton Highlands did not disappoint and provided a very fun day for our group. Love how these greens roll. Very well maintained course that also has a par 3 course that is worth trying. Extremely nice staff that made sure our group had a great visit.
Driving range that has a nice practice bunker as well as a large putting green. I can t wait to bring back my group again. Thank you Clifton Highlands.

Very poor customer service! would not recommend to my worst enemy! The staff didn't have masks on even tho they have signs on the doors requiring guests to wear them!. They refused to let me use a golf cart so I had to wander around!. I will never ever return ever! If I could give em negative stars I would.

Due to unforseen traffic I arrived 4 minutes before for my round even though I left well over an hour early for a 25 minute drive. The older fella at the clubhouse chatted with a member for a good 10 minutes before even acknowledging me. I was told the group golfnow paired me with was supposed to wait but because they didn't I wasn't allowed to play. He refused to let me play with any one ahead or behind the scheduled tee time because they were members and therefore better than me. As long as you're a member or don't book with golfnow (which was made apparent they despise) you may be treated with respect but you shouldn't count on it. Neither myself nor anyone I know will ever play this course again. I don't believe they care since in their minds this mediocre course should be run like Hazeltine. Good luck to anyone using golfnow and hopefully you're money is greener than their members. On a side note golfnow was extremely professional and refunded my money without hesitation.

Great course, challenging greens and good scenery. Be sure to keep your approach shots below the hole on this course, since the greens have significant undulations. Friendly staff, good food and since it is Wisconsin, you can get a Spotted Cow.

Wow, played here last year and was not impressed. Had a coupon, so came back. What a difference a year makes. Course was in great shape, staff was freindly, and service was exceptional. We like to golf early on Sunday morning, and most courses don't have a drink cart starting early, but on this hot hot day it was nice to see one on the front nine, even at that hour. Greens are fast, but also true. Putting was a pleasure. Layout is midwester classic, and woodsy around 14-18, but no altogether hard in any sense. We will be back.

Love coming over to Clifton Highlands from the Twin Cities. Ken in the pro shop provides the best customer service and I don't think I've encountered anyone friendlier in a pro shop. Even with all the rain, course was in good shape. Greens are true and good challenge. Shoutout to Tim for the awesome breakfast sandwich as well! Will be back to Prescott soon!

We enjoyed a great round of golf at Clifton Highlands Golf Club. After the 18 hole course we headed UP to check out the sporty par 3! WOW the views up there! The 18 hole course is a great track. While you might look at a short par 4 and say..wow Birdie hole. The greens might take that away from you if you are not close to the pin! Shot placement is critical on some holes to give you a good approach. Signs at each hole give you a good idea of what you need to do. The clubhouse is inviting and the pro shop has what you need! Staff is wonderful and engaging! This course is part of the River Valley Golf Trail with Gopher Hills Golf Course and Red Wing Golf Course. Play all 3!

I was pushed off the golf cart, screamed at and forced to walk down the hill on the pare 3 course by a supervisor just because i parked on the tee box, I didnt know that was a rule and I would have had no problem if I got yelled at for doing it but being physical assaulted is not ok

Friendly staff! Played a tournament there and they were very helpful. Bring bug spray for the nats...they didnt sell it in the pro shop. Fairways in nice shape...greens we're too...but pretty challenging undulation. Rough was a bit long making it harder to find balls. Would definitely return.

Clifton Highlands is well worth the hour drive from where I live. The course is challenging yet honest and always seems to be in great shape. The head pro (Ken) gives the clubhouse a warm and welcoming atmosphere. 10/10 recommend.

This is a beautiful, well-maintained course. The staff is courteous, friendly and helpful at all times. The greens are fast and difficult, which makes them really fun. Beginners may not appreciate the greens, but we love them.
