Went for lunch. Nothing incredibly special about this place, plus incredibly slow service (incredibly busy place). Great place to people watch though, this area is crowded! The pina coladas were tasty. I would try a different restaurant on that street next time though. We also had fish tacos, the fish was not flakey at all and they tasted like chicken. They had some dancers which were awesome but they only stayed for one song.

Booked a one night stay here last week to hang with the wife and explore Sobe a bit. The rooms were overly simple and small. The furniture, television, and fixtures are very dated and in desperate need of a refresh. No alarm clock, no iron, no coffee, no robe, and on and on. Valet Service also takes an extended time if you are wishing to come and go at all during your stay. Also, many parts of the hotel were closed, including the rooftop. On the plus side the staff were courteous enough and we did have the promised ocean front view. We were already expecting a party atmosphere so the loud music and such was not really an issue, at least for us.

Recommend this place for people who are there to party and not relax or expect much in the way of amenities.

My friends and I went to the Cleavlander to experience some nightlife while in Miami. The dance floor was outdoors and the place was definitely nice. The dj primarily played top 40 and some Latin music. Cover was $10.

Good hotel, great location in the heart of the ocran drive, excellent for those who want to be in the action. Despite the noise and hustle and bustle outside, you can't hear anything from the rooms.
However, rooms close to the elevator may cause noise.
Mandatory payment of resort fee that includes a welcome drink at reception, access to the hotel's rooftop and pool, Wi-Fi, towels and complimentary breakfast (until 9am only).
The hotel bar is very lively, good options for drinks and food. Good service.

Welcoming and courteous staff but rooms aren't cleaned well daily, towels weren't restocked daily. The bathrooms aren't very private because of a weird sliding door. It's in the heart of South Beach though which is convenient

Very nice rooms. And a fun atmosphere. If you don't like to party late I could be an issue since the music goes loud and late. Great location though and an enjoyable experience here. Beaches are pretty clean right out the door and its close to other clubs as well. Only down side is they don't have refrigerators in the rooms

The place is awesome. But the blonde old bartender only waits on guys. She asks the guy next to you what he needs and then asks you what you need and only gets him what he needs not you. And then continues to wait on other people. A different bartender comes over and gets you what you need. Be aware. She is awful. The giy was awesome. (mlmiddle bar ) is where this happened.

This review is for the outdoor bar area only. This place is pure Miami Beach. It's loud, obnoxious, expensive, and maybe trying a little too hard. If you're looking for a party atmosphere, then this is your place.

It does have some pretty good drinks (and not weak), and plenty of seating. The staff is what you'd expect for Miami Beach (helpful, friendly, and overworked).

Like all places in Miami Beach, make sure you review your receipt for automatic tipping. Don't double tip. Would go again.

Went to the restaurant several years ago while in Miami and the food was phenomenal. We went out of our way to go again while on a trip to the Florida Keys. Their menu had changed for the worse. Ordered the steak and it tasted like it was cooked in a pan that just had fish cooked in it. Side dishes were so over seasoned with fancy seasoning that they were not even good. Very overpriced for the quality of the food. Throw on top the service charge and the resort fee they charge we will not be coming again.

Very good location with a very open atmosphere. Multiple bars that are easily accessible along with a small dance floor and pool. They also have a DJ booth with a large LED screen and great sound system. Happy hour prices weren't too bad but they do include a service charge which brings the price up. Staff was very friendly and did not shy away from mingling with the patrons.

I had a blast here during a weekday! They have live entertainment dancers/live music/DJ you can't beat it! It was a bar that turned in to a Club right before your eyes. I think if your looking for a great place to go this is the place to start! Drink prices are normal for a city club setting. The place does get busy so get there a little early so you get a table.... it was nice to have after dancing, watching the entertainment and for ordering drinks. GO GO GO! Next time I go to South Beach I will be booking a room here. Great location and you can't beat the bar/club. Hope this helps

Cool hotel on the beach. Drinks are what you expect to pay at the beach lol. I honestly thought rooms would be bigger. Nice lounge bar area. Location is perfect. Had a few drinks with friends and we all thought drinks could be mad stronger. Also 1 drink was like 22. Which is way over priced. But hey its all good. this place is jumping at night. cool crowd

We didn't stay at the hotel, walked into the outdoor bar, looked cool and inviting. My wife and I ordered some drinks, which were a bit pricey, and had to pay a mandatory 20% service fee or gratuity, which I didn't mind, expecting a half decent drink for the price. We where very disappointed, I drink, but my wife usually does not, and her tolerance for alcohol is very low, maybe 1 out of 10, she felt nothing after drinking her Mojito in about 5 minutes, which confirmed for me that this place totally ripped us off, 36.50 for 2 " alcoholic beverages ". Never will I step into this ace again!

On a Saturday afternoon, there's no better place to be in South Beach than the Clevelander. The pool party is always a great time. The newly redesigned food menu has some fantastic new items on it with some healthy options too if that's what you're looking for. The food and drink prices are standard for South Beach. Always a great time down here

AMAZING place, Never have I encountered such a friendly staff. I told them it was my birthday and the next day they called me and told me I had a gift at the front desk. Truly can say I enjoyed my stay. They cater to younger crowd so do be advised it is a party hotel. Rooms were well kept and modern perfect for our stay. WILL be returning soon.
