The Asian Light Festival was wonderful, amazing show... long walk.
Not a bad zoo and here you're able to see a lot better view of animals than I've experienced at some other zoos.
Our family loves the Zoo in Cleveland all year round! Easy to walk in a day. Plenty of indoor and outdoor exhibits. Fun for everyone.
The Asian Lantern Festival is definitely worth the trip. It was crowded but everyone was wearing a mask with the exception of smaller children. Social distancing was a problem so take that into consideration.
The Cleveland Zoo is a great tourist attraction for the city. The Zoo is always well maintained and has plenty to offer from great food to collectibles in the gift shop. I had the pleasure of touring the Zoo during the Lantern Festival. It was a fantastic experience that I highly recommend to all.
It's the Zoo. Who doesn't love the animals and the rain forest.
Had a work event at Stillwater Place. BEAUTIFUL venue and good food.
We love the Zoo! You can spend an entire day there and never get bored!
We went there for the Boo Zoo event, it was fun, recommen it to kids and adults. We paid $48 for 3 (2 adults a d a kid). Great decorations for Halloween all over the zoo. Nice and friendly staff, lots of trick and trick stations. My son loved it. We will go there again.
I love the inside exhibits like The Rainforest where you can see the mother of all pythons or The primate & big Cats house where you can watch characters like Sammael grow into a ferocious male snow leopard. Open all year.
Had such a great time. Always a blast. Good variety of animals and love the rainforest.
Nice habitats for many of the animals...decent food and always see something new
Wonderful place for family fun. Getting to feed the giraffes was super. Pretty expensive for refreshments was only complaint.
Great Zoo. My son and I only were able to see 1/3 of the park which took a few hours. The theme decorations are great. Hand feeding Giraffes is a must for the kids. They seem to care for the animals well. I will be buying a membership pass. Only issue real issue is that there are many additional costs once in the park. The ticket is more of a baseline experience.
Very nice upgrades throughout the zoo, and educational for children & adults too. They have a good variety of animal species and great educational programs as well.
Cleveland zoo it is very nice to walk around and see the animal
The Rainforest is always a great place to go on those cold Cleveland winter days.
Really nice time, even with covid restrictions. My children and I really enjoyed the dinosaurs from around the world and the decorations for the lantern festival also.
The Zoo is GREAT every time that I go there but tonight was extra great with the Asian Lantern Festival going on. Great job this year I won't miss the ALF again.
I always took my kids here when they were young. It is a very big zoo with plenty to see. Be prepared to get some exercise.
Love the elephants, and feeding the giraffes. They have a nice variety of animals. Really wish they had more Holiday lights options in December.
This zoo is so huge. I was so sad we didnt get to finish it because we were short in time. And the volunteers are awesome and very knowledgeable about the animals. There was this sub place at the food court and it was delicious. I definitely recommend doing the zoo first if your a tourist, so you can really explore and get to see al the animals.
We visited when leaves were turning and it was beautiful. Nice place!
Love this place! Animals are always lively and out and about. Been here with my kids at least 5 times in the last few years. Even came here multiple times as a child myself. Pack a lunch though cuz food and drink are expensive! That's really the only down side of this wonderful zoo. Other than that it's not a bad price for admission and it's down right great for a family trip.
Amazing. Everything is breath taking. The prices aren't that bad!!
Our family Visited Cleveland for Memorial Day weekend and spent a day at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. Our family enjoys visiting Zoos when on vacation. The Cleveland Metroparks Zoo was an excellent and very enjoyable experience. The Majority of the Zoo is new, all areas were clean and well maintained. There is a nice variety of
animals and various other activities for the kids. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and experienced. I would highly recommend spending a day at this Zoo, especially if you are a regularly Zoo going. Thank you for a great day!
Great for out of towners and locals alike! They are constantly improving and developing new areas for both the guests and the safety and enjoyment of the animals.
Great family experience!! Very amazing place to spend the day. 3rd trip to this zoo and it's our favorite. Would recommend to any one to visit.
Loved the Asian lanterns, and many of the animals are night feeders, so are out and active
Wonderful is an understatement-love the ambience, staff, and animals.Great place for kids and adults to learn about nature and how we can do our part to protect it.
I counted more green bose sound speakers than animals. They should tell you there's no animals out before you blow your money going.
The food and service was amazing, it was a quiet little diner. Great atmosphere
Animals seemed depressed just slouching around food given to them didn't look ripe needs to be checked into seriously
Plan an entire day if you want to cover this expansive park, which for an additional charge includes a tropical rainforest, camel rides and a chance to hand feed giraffes.
Wish the aquarium was bigger. Very interesting crowd because of the location.
Great zoo! My home zoo and I've been here about 50 times and still haven't seen everything. They carry some really good events here too, year-round. All kinds of animals, plants and exhibits, and most importantly the animals seem to be well cared for which means they're outside and active. Plenty of indoor facilities too: the aquarium is awesome, there's an indoor butterfly garden and a building where you can see the apes and monkeys up close. The exhibits also give you tons of information about what you're seeing, so if you're really into the science behind the animals like I am you can end up spending 30 minutes in one place just learning about them. The only places I've been that compete with this zoo are the National Zoo in DC, the Columbus Zoo and Animal Kingdom at Disney World. And I didn't even mention the indoor rain forest and free entrance on Mondays for local residents.
Exhibits are not as exciting or eye appealing as other zoo's. Half of the exhibits were closed...and the Australian area is crowded with to many gates to get in and out
We loved the Zoo.... Kept us busy seeing all the beautiful animals you don't normally get to see.
Great place! Next things they try to incorporate. Animals are well cared for.
Fun evening with best friends. Great for the whole family. Good way to get your daily steps in
I enjoy going to the zoo with my family. Boo at the Zoo is especially enjoyable. Staff is knowledgeable about the animals and park is kept clean. It's unfortunate that the animals aren't always active but zoos are necessary to keep some animals from going extinct.
Zoo was great, but it was way more crowded than we expected. People weren't social distancing, very little masks being worn. The promised hand cleaning stations were few and far between. But, as I said staff was great. The animals were animals!
I love this place such a perfect zoo so caring and considerate and caring for the animals
Nothing to see here.....and on a SATURDAY?! Where are the animals? I walked two hours to pet a goat.
Great place for kids and adults. Don't miss Tiger Passage.
Not very happy about our visit didn't get to see many animals they weren't outside
The Cleveland Metroparks Zoo was an absolutely delightful experience for a Monday afternoon (free for Cuyahoga County residents)! I saw cats, fish, primates, elephants, lions, and all while others also checked out the animals from all over Earth! While the zoo season continues, visit the zoo!
Went to Boo at the Zoo. A bit rainy but it didn't affect the employees or the Volunteers. Everybody had a good time.
Winter lights show was awesome!!! Only complaint was food was over priced and hot chocolate was Hershey syrup and hot water.
The wife and I are from the Pittsburgh Pennsylvania area and we came on a date. It was awesome. We even got to observe a kangaroo having major surgery. Will return. Definitly
Went for the Asian Lantern Festival. The lanterns were lovely and the show was amazing.
Great time! The latern festival was beautiful. I only seen it in the day time but would love to see the night show.
A huge park. All the staff was welcoming, theres a lot to experience. Took me 5 hours to cover everything
We had a blast, love feeding the giraffes, price is worth it
Have been a member for many years. Incredible, beautiful zoo.
Lions, tigers, beats, elephants, zebras, monkeys, wolves....what don't they have! Get up close and personal! These exhibits let you get close!
Great zoo a lot of walking. Asian exhibit was wonderful
