Amazing place to visit. Parking is weird with paying for half days but totalky worth visiting. Lits to do, shops, boat toyrs, dolphin tours, shops and restaurants. Lovely time. Favorite thing was Dolphin encounters!! Got to see dolphjns..including jumping ones, a sea turtle and a skate!!

Basic aquarium to say the least. They had 4 dolphins, a few turtles stingrays. Rather disorganized as well. Entrance fees were ridiculously overpriced for the little they had to offer ($25 per person, $13 if after 4pm, be and parking expense). All in all, it's an aquarium one would expect to find in Timbuktu(no pun intended), but much pricier.

My daughter had been talking about wanting to see Winter for months after seeing Dolphin Tale. It was a very nice facility. My daughter couldn't really do any of the experiences due to her age, but she still had fun. Definitely worth it to just get a family membership if you have a group of 4 or more going.

This place serves a amazing purpose here. All of you people who put bad reviews just wanna see a show. This place is a rehab, rescue, and release. your lucky to even be able to see behind the scenes. and non profit is just that NOT FOR PROFIT. it's to take care of the animals give them treatments, surgeries whatever they need. can u even imagine how much that costs to run everyday. I love this place and think it's a awesome place to visit. ;)

My husband & I enjoyed our visit to the Marine Aquarium in September 2019. Very informative & family environment. Was under construction on 2-3 new buildings & thus, caused some problems finding certain areas until you are actually inside the main part of the aquarium.

I was very disappointed as many of the exhibits were empty. The scheduled shows were not tailored to the very few a far between visitors and the staff interaction was great when you first arrived but after that they were not interactive with my family as we went through the exhibits. I have been here 3 times before and had a much better experience in the past. This was the first time with grandchildren and even they crossed it off there list to bring the cousins to next year. This is so sad. I hope things get better.

Very informational.. I'm glad that it's non profit and the money that people pay actually helps the animals that can not be returned to their natural habitat..Lizzie was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable.

This was a great day of witnessing humanity and compassion for humans and marine life. The mission of this aquarium is the best. So thrilling to meet Winter as we share several things in common. If, you haven't watched the movies Dolphin Tale n Dolphin Tale 2 please do asap! You will appreciate your visit here so much more. And, you will gain respect and compassion for life and those that are challenged.

I dont understand how this place can be so unorganized and unprofessional with all the money that has been sunk into it from the movies about winter and hope. My mothers first time in Florida and she wants to see the movie star inspirational dolphin winter. The whole aquarium at 3 PM on 11/9/2018 had MAYBE 75 people in it total. So I thought it would be wonderful to have my mom do the touch and picture with hope. WRONG. The girl that takes your "green screen" picture before you even walked into the building was apparently imitating Andy worlhal. She took 8 pictures in less then 10 seconds. Telling us to look up and put your hands together but not letting us get comfortable with one pose before demanding another and another and another... when we fill out the form to do the encounter the woman who is "in charge" is not explaining the right way to do the encounter. People are talking over her, not paying attention to the directions she is rushing through and she is not making sure they are either. VERY DANGEROUS. she then tells a few of us to line up and tells others in the same GROUP that we are going in order. She then throws that idea out the window with no explaining that she has. Then it's a FREE FOR ALL! NOBODY knows who is up next or if there in an order or not....*heavy sigh. My mom asked me if they were closing soon because of all the rushing and chaos. They closed at 8pm. It was 3:45pm. I was SO embarrassed for my mom to have such an experience at one of my favorite places. I've been coming to see winter for 9 years. The woman I mentioned apparently was in a hurry to leave as I saw her leaving in her car not even 15 min after the disastrous episode. So my mother had this rushed not special moment as her first impression at Clearwater marine aquarium. Thanks.

Paid over $60 to look at a few exhibits, social distancing was not in practice at all in anyway, way over crowded and people not staying 6ft apart. The place is a waste of money and a waste of time I do not recommend this aquarium to anyone and will never come back. The Florida aquarium is cheaper and has you looking and doing more than looking at few exhibits and paying $60 for nothing. Don't waste your money here.

A great aquarium that is all about rescue and when possible release. Many animals such as Winter amd Hope bottlenose dolphins who are unable to return to the wild are here to teach and inspire. Yes that Winter -The moviestar dolphin with the world's only prostetic tail.

Everyone is friendly and helpful. They answer any and all questions. Every time we visit we learn something new. I find it a little small with all the other visitors but this place was not built for animals or large crowds.

The prices are much lower compared to the Tampa aquarium; the staff is quite friendly, and the animals are well taken care of. I wish there was a little more organisation as far as the line goes because my family and I had arrived before several groups of people, yet we were checked in last and some of our time was taken up since they are limiting time allotted to limit people in due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Doesn t matter if you buy tickets in advance, you still have to wait in the same long lines to pay for your parking, just fyi. They have to update the ticketing/payment system at some point.

Was terrible. Winter was blocked off and you had to peek through a gate 3 ft. away just to barely see her. Paid for the boat ride was supposed to be two hours was only oun it for 15 minutes and then they canceled it because of a big storm. Never got the $100 back for them just canceling the boat tour. Don't go here save your money it's not worth it I promise.

this place is very rundown, the underwater viewing areas are green and murky and tanks are plain and small. the sea turtles were scratching at the walls and the shows ignored the dolphin behind them, talking about how most of the movie is incorrect and desperately trying to involve the audience

Cute little place, great for a rainy day and for family/kids. Kind of expensive for what you get to see, and you pay to go and they just try to get you to buy more stuff while you re there... but at least it s for a good cause! Overall a good visit! Everyone s really nice!

Never been yet but read all the time what they do and it is wonderful. I will go one day and advertise to friends and on Facebook what a fantastic job the staff does. I hope to meet my friends there one day soon can t get on knees but sure there must be away I can get to hug or kiss Winter. I do have one of his artwork and it is quite good. Also loved the two movies made with my favorite actors. This is one place everyone should get to go. My family loved the gift store too, they offer a lot of nice things. Hope to see you soon. Oh I have also purchased two of their calendars and must do that again as the months have beautiful pictures. Well I have advertised several times over the years how great CMA is and wow they are building and adding on and growing bigger hooray! They deserve it! I can t wait to see the finished results. They are my number one favorite of Clearwater. Yes I have been there but never touched my favs but that s okay. They see so many. I love them.

Don't waste your money. Paid 60 bucks for two adult tickets and there was nothing there. Seen two dolphins, two sharks and a couple stingrays. Literally seen everything they had to offer in 5 min. This place is a tourist trap, sorry.

Let me start with a huge caveat, the facilities are currently undergoing construction (as of May 2018) so when you visit this may have changed. The overall experience is good. The facility is quite small and the admission is quite high for what is here. It is more of a hospital with a few attractions rather than an attraction of itself. If I had paid the full admission price I would have felt a bit cheated. Using city pass I don't feel as bad about the shortness of our stay.

Summary: it's a nice place but a little overpriced for what you get.

Such an amazing place to visit! They do such an amazing job with the animals they are helping and really give you a great idea of the work they do. I cant wait to go back again and visit!
