I have sent a letter with my complaints to the administrator, the billing manager, and the assistant office manager. I hope to be able to report my concerns were taken seriously. One. Check in procedure is complicated and difficult for a person with a disability. Two, office staff are unwilling or unable to assist with procedures. Three, staff refuse to call patient insurance to verify it is valid. Only response was to be able to self pay and backdate when clinic figured out insurance was valid. Four it took one week and countless phone calls to get lab results. Doctors Kafka and Delaney are great to work with. But it does no good if a person can t get past the front desk

I had minimal wait time to see Dr Bollinger. The staff are very friendly. The nurse, Megan was great at explaining the process and with asking questions. Dr Bollinger was very kind, friendly and efficient. If you are nervous about a female annual exam, I highly recommend her. She took the time to explain what she was going to do, prior to the process. Once she began the exam, she let me know what she was about to do. I really appreciate the time and care she took during my appointment. I highly recommend Dr Bollinger.

Like the staff but the waits are always way longer. I check in online and am always in waiting room at least 20 min past appointment time. Once in a room get ready for another long wait. Make sure if you are visiting the Dr. Don't plan anything else for that day.

Dont come here if you don't have to. My grandma fell and we think she broke her arm. But after an hour wait she was told that she wouldn't be seen for another 3 hours. They double book appointments and make people wait for far too long. My brother was a phlebotomist there and he quit because of how they treat people. DO NOT GO THERE!!!!!

This was once a great doctor's office, ONCE> You will sit up to an hour AFTER you have been called back to your room and if you are lucky, you'll talk to the doctor for all of five minutes. Changed doctors and the notes they entered into my chart are not correct when I had my medical records transferred to the new doctor. Items they diagnosed me with and treated me for are listed as the incorrect disorder. When I pushed about this because my chart notes are important, I have two autoimmune disorders that are directly related to my main one, they blew me off about correcting the notes. I take notes every single time I go to the doctor's office because I don't want to make a mistake about what they told me I should do. That's what is happens when money is put above patient care. the whole place is a joke, including the doctors. My husband has been billed for shots he never got, they argued with me and said yes he did. I was like why would he get a tetanus shot again when he had one 3 years ago? They wouldn't take it off the bill. He was having stomach pain and we couldn't see our regular doctor and saw the 'founder' he told my husband to suck it up and be a man, sometimes we don't like the medication we are taking. 3 hours later we are in the emergency room and my husband is having a pancreatic attack caused by the medication that was prescribed to him. if you value your health, and your time and money matters, go elsewhere.

Love this place overall!

Love this place overall!
Me, my husband, and my 9 month old daughter all go to this place. My husband and i don't have set doctors as we dont go in very often, but all the ones we have seen have been nothing but pleasant and they listen well. We have Dr Delaney for my daughter, and he is about the sweetest doctor Ive ever met. He listens to concerns (from a first time mom, mind you!) And he seems to truly enjoy kids a lot. He walks in like he and my husband and i are old friends. Super super happy with him!
Sadly, yes, the reports are true. Wait times are beyond ridiculous. I do set aside half the day when i go in. However, if you go in right when they open, ive found this is not the case! So there are ways to avoid the wait. And even with the wait, id say its still worth it. Doctor wise, ive never had better experiences with a group of people. Staff in general is great.
Phone experience isnt always the best. Husband went in for a uti and ended up paying 90 dollars after insurance for a urine test. VERY VERY hard to fight or figure out insurance with people over the phone, and the person at the other end doesnt normally seem to want to go the extra mile to help figure it out. But honestly, where is it easy?
The pros outweight the cons for this place. I do hope one day they are a little more organized, but its nothing thatll scare me off:)

My doctor is legitimately the best doctor I've ever used. She gets me in quick, keeps our appointments, and gives me a no BS answer when I have a question. If she's taking new patients, go with Dr. Meseyton.

Our family normally visits Dr. Meseyton however on a few other occasions we've had to see someone else in the practice. Yes, the wait is long sometimes (not all of the time) but the doctors here care. I've never had a problem receiving lab results. The nursing staff has actually followed up with me after referring me to specialists to make sure I was taken care of and to make sure I followed up with the procedures they requested at their office. They have done the same for my oldest son. Exceptional doctors. Exceptional staff.

I have been going to Clay Platte Family Medicine since 2008. I cannot express how well I have been treated by them. Dr. Delaney is great, he listens to the patient, confers with them, keeps in touch with follow up calls from his nurse and has a genuine concern for your health and how it is provided. I cannot say enough great things about this practice or the staff. If you leave a message on either the patient portal or over the phone to his extension they reply right away.

Went with my boyfriend to this family practice to get a minor lump looked at and we spent over an HOUR AND A HALF waiting on the doctor and that was just in our personal room. Before we got taken to our room, we waited in the waiting room for fourty five minutes. This doctors office is extremely lacking on patient time AND care. I would not recommend this place to anyone of any age/gender. You'd be waiting for hours just to see a doctor for a few minutes. Our Dr Ortiz seemed overwhelmed and gave useless information. Just FYI.

The doctor I had (Dr. Meseyton) seemed nice enough when she came in to see me but once I started to tell her my health history and concerns she completely disregarded them and told me I needed to get lab work repeated (same exact tests) even though I brought in recent lab work from my ob/gyn and see a nutritionist. She also tried to be patronizing regarding my health concerns telling me about a shake gimmick that helped someone she knows lose weight, it really turned me off that a medical professional would suggest something gimmicky like this instead of taking my health concerns seriously. There is no communication between the doctors and their nurses. The nurse didn't relay a message accurately to doctor and then they basically acted as if it was my fault. They did not address my health concerns except to give me a medication that I had already told doctor had caused me bad side effects and did not work for me in the past. I was also given a rx for my eczema that was in the wrong formulation so I ended paying for an rx that doesn't work for me and I can't return to pharmacy. When I emailed them about my concerns the doctor wouldn't even reply to any of my concerns and then decided that they would dismiss me as a patient basically because I was upholding them to a standard of care that I was not receiving. Of course they don't care since they already have their money in all the billing for unnecessary lab work they did and the consultation. The only silver lining in this is that I found out how terrible they were in the beginning instead of later down the line. Stay far far away from this practice if you want decent care and doctors that genuinely care for their patients.

My Dr. Is excellent. I have not had any bad experiences with any of the staff ever. The operation itself is frustrating, long wait times . I bring a book and enjoy the coffee while I wait. But I have NO complaints with my Dr. or anyone else that works there. Also the people in the lab are very good at what they do.

Just before Xmas I had a need to have a sudden infection looked at, and was not able to see my regular Dr. I saw who was available and had a terrible experience. The nurse set up for him to possibly drain this painful lump. The doctor ruled out a hernia (which I thought it probably was) and said it was an abscess. I let the Dr know I had MRSA by history and asked if they would be draining it like before. He hurriedly scrapped the surface to "see if anything grows", wrote a script for antibiotics, and sent me on my way. Felt rushed the whole time. 2 days later, it was really getting bad and I went to Urgent Care. They got a culture, and tried to drain it the best they could. On my follow-up at Urgent Care 2 days later they told me to get to the ER. I spent 3 days in the hospital in an isolated unit. It was ultimately discovered to be antibiotic resistant to most antibiotics including the one this original DR prescribed. Clay Platte never called back with the results on the original test. Eventually I called to check, and their test didn't show anything. This could have been very bad.

My first appointment here was very through, but I had a medical student doing most of my exam instead of the actual doctor. Then I had a follow up appointment. Waited for about an hour in the waiting room and left. An appointment should be done in a timely manner. Also I never received my blood work results from the first checkup. I am not going back and would definitely not recommend this office to anyone.

Dr. Delaney is a wonderful, honest and straight forward doctor. However, the staff at the front desk is often rude and moves very slow. You can have an appt at 9am, arrive 15min early like they ask and still not enter a room for another 30 min AFTER your scheduled appointment time. Once you're in the room you're subject to wait another 30+ min for the doctor. So expect to be at the doctor's office for at least 2 hours just for a simple check up, no labs or shots. I'm not sure if they overbook schedules or what. But something needs to change, they were not always operating in this manner.

Drs. are professional and friendly. I am extremely happy with their services and their communication with me as a patient. Dr. Chapman and Lori Tutton are my favorites!! The staff at the front desk is friendly as well. Thank you!

Dr. Delany is our family doctor, and has been for the past 5 years. He's very knowledgable and is great with the kids. He always takes his time and listens to what I am saying, like actually listens. I don't feel like I have to go through everything over and over. He gets 5 stars in my opinion!!
The office, on the other hand, they are more like 2 stars. My daughter had an 8:15am appt and she was not checked in until well after 8:30am. From there it took them another 10 min for us to be called back to be seen by a nurse. Once my daughter was seen by the nurse the wait to see the Dr. wasn't very long. Seriously, should not take that long for an 8:15 appt when the clinic opens at 8am. I noticed most of the people there were there for the Lab, not sure if they need to streamline their process, but there were only 3 people ahead of us for the Dr and only 1 had been called back by 8:15. The receptionists are usually pleasant and appear to be efficient. So I'm not sure where the delay is, all I know is that waiting that long with a toddler is not easy.

Currently, I've been waiting over an hour for my 930 appointment. There were at least 30 people in the waiting room at any given time, giving one the feeling that they were cattle... There is nothing personal about this practice.

While it was nice of them to get me in on short notice, it would have been better to wait a week, if it meant being seen on time. What a ridiculous waste of my morning.

I have never been to a doctors office with a more rude front desk staff than this place.

In addition, the x-ray tech manhandled me the day after I through my back out.

These people care about your money, not you.

Find some place else to get real care.

I am a new patient and made an appointment a few weeks ago. It was originally scheduled for last Friday but they called me the day before to reschedule it to today at 11:15 am. I adjusted my schedule to be there by 11 am, having shown up previously with all of the completed new patient forms. When another patient was called back at 11:17 to see Dr. Chapman, the doctor I had an 11:15 appointment with, I gained a sense of dread. I was hoping this would be my new doctor after TRICARE told me I had to switch from my previously amazing doctor. I like consistency after serving my country for 22 years and I was hoping this would be my new long time answer. 25 minutes after my initial appointment time I went to the front desk to see if there was an issue. After doing some "checking" they told me I was next and it would only be another 15 to 20 minutes. My time is just as valuable as the doctors time. I hate any professional who thinks their time is the only important time. The message it sends to me is that they are about volume which means money, and not about customer care. I told them I was leaving and to cancel my appointment. When they asked me if I wanted to reschedule I let them know I won't be coming back. I need to find an office who cares about patients and service. Now had they come out and told me they were behind, say right around the time they knew they wouldn't be calling me back at the appointed time, explaining why and offering me the chance to wait or reschedule I would have patiently waited. I have a lump in my chest and I really want to find out what it is and if its serious, but now that will be delayed a few weeks while I call TRICARE, explain what happened, have them change my Primary Care Manager, and schedule a new appointment. I really wish I had read previous reviews before I ever made this appointment.

Been a patient for a long time and the entire staff is great. I have been with Dr. McDonald for 15+ years and I really trust his knowledge. I like all the doctors and staff I have seen.

I've been going to Clay Platte Medicine for several years now. Dr. Meseyton is the best. When I was experiencing severe depression and very close to killing myself. Dr. Meseyton caring and patient bedside manner got me over the hump and helped me find the right combination of medications that saved my life. The staff is another story. On several occasions I've had to remind them of medications that Dr. Meseyton had said she wanted to try. You go for appointments and they have no idea why your there but when you make the appointment they want to know what is wrong with you. They have no idea of what medications you are taking even though it right there in your medical records. Wait times are ridiculous. I can live with all this because the only reason I keep going to Clay Platte is Dr. Meseyton.

I've been going here for decades won't be anymore waited in room for an hour stepped out and asked the nurse who put me in there is she coming to see me and she replied who ? So I went to the front desk to get my copay returned and got the same response who cares . WOW asked for a manager and of course they had already left this place is a joke!

Dr. Sophia Ligard was completely unprofessional, rude, and had no bedside manner. She didn't treat my daughter with respect or kindness, and didn't listen to any of her concerns. I would not recommend this provider to anyone. She is an embarrassment to Clay Platte Family Medicine.

If I could give this place any lower rating I would. I only have 2 reasons why I go to this office. #1, they accept military insurance. #2, I adore Dr. Arsenis. She truly is amazing. I mean, let's be honest, wait times are always a little expected when you go to any doctor. I'm cool with waiting 15-20 minutes. But waiting 45 minutes to not even be checked in, after registering information online for "faster service" and being asked to show up 15 minutes early, is completely unacceptable. I mean, I was just going for a flipping referral. I HAVE A LIFE!! And then the staff wants to get cute with me when I ask why I haven't been checked in yet!! I AM NOT THE ONE. Some people may be ok with having the staff be rude but NOT ME!! As much as I love my doctor I refuse to go back and anyone who has a choice, choose differently. That's time that you will never get back.

Dr.Bollinger is sooo great. I've been going here for about 5 years. Wait times have increased and are about an hour to see the doctor (she's worth it) but the staff is always great and if you call the nurses the wait is long but I've always gotten a call back as promised and they will talk to the doctor to change a prescription without making me come in if the doctor has a dosage change or a med change on a recent visit. Love it! Gave them a four because of the wait times.

This practice as a whole is blatantly disrespectful to their patients' time. I have seen three different providers at this practice and every single provider regularly runs a bare minimum of 45 minutes behind schedule. For a visit that should have taken 30 minutes maximum, I was at this office for 2.5 hours. I was not seen until over 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment time, and I was scheduled for the second appointment of the day. Interactions with providers and clinic staff are pleasant, but I can only assume after being seen by three different providers at this practice and having the same experience with each one that blatant disregard and disrespect for their patients' time and schedules is a cultural practice at this organization. I will not be returning and would not recommend this primary care practice to anyone.

I can speak only for the treatment that I received...

I can speak only for the treatment that I received from Dr. Thomas Chapman and his nursing staff. I waited over an hour for my appointment, when the doctor finally came in I expressed my frustration. He proceeded to fly off the handle, screamed at me about what a wonderful doctor he was and more, and berated me until I was sobbing. He then stood with his arms folded across his chest and got in my face said the wouldn't see or talk to me further until I was calm. I called myself down because this was an emergency appointment I desperately needed. He proceeded to give me a rough vaginal exam without speaking or making eye contact. He then left the room saying "thanks for your time" sarcastically and slammed the door. Worst part of all he claimed that other people were standing outside the door listening to our convo (a HIPPA violation) who "would testify" to what a great doctor he was. Then he never ordered the tests I requested. That makes him one sadistic and cruel man who put my health and fertility at risk for the rest of my life, all because I was frustrated he was an hour late. I have reported him to the MO state medical board and it turns out this is not the first time someone has filed a complaint. Beware of this man who does not keep his Hippocratic Oath and has many outstanding complaints. I hope no one else ever has the experience I did.

I've been in waiting room for an hour, again. I will probably wait in patient room as well. Appointments should not take two to three hours. I thought the reason for making appointments was to avoid this.

I have been going here since 2001 for routine exams and very occasional other visits. In the last year, I have finally realized that I have never had a good experience here, with the exception that I do like my physician, Dr. Delaney. That is unfortunate, because due to long wait times both in the waiting room and in the examination room, long hold times, no knowledge of insurance, no documentation on why you are being billed for a supposed no-paid well-man annual exam and frequent rude, incompetent and generally rushed service, I will not be going back to this unsatisfactory practice after this year. After my most recent experiences over the last year or so, I would rate it zero stars if I could.

The wait in the waiting room is always 30-1hour, but they make sure you paid with in the first 10 minutes of arriving. The wait to see the doctor is usually 30-2hours and the visit is never over 20-30minutes, they don t really take their time with you. Dr.Chapman and Kafka are awful mean doctors. Lori is not a very good doctor. Messington is a great doctor, Delaney is great and very caring, and Bollinger is my favorite. Overall not a bad practice just a horrible wait time, and very few good doctors.

I have been a patient for about 18 years. I am now...

I have been a patient for about 18 years. I am now looking for a different Dr. While I have loved my doctor, Dr. Joslin, I am fed up with this practice. They have grown so big that they don't know what they are doing. This has happened twice to me, burn me once, shame on you...you know the rest. I go into the office with a problem, they run one test, then call me with the results, so happy to let me know everything came back normal. Okay, what next? "Oh, I'm not sure, the doctor did not give any other instructions." Really? Just because you ran a test, does not mean my symptoms went away. Never any follow up!!! Then, another time I was in the office, they put me in room #7. I was seeing a nurse practitioner because I could not get an appointment with a doctor. I hear the NP talking with the nurse in the hall asking "Is number 7 in her room?" Suddenly I was a number, not a person with a name. They are too big. I have seen several doctors in the practice, even was "reprimanded" once by my doctor for not staying with him when trying to work through an issue. I told him I tried, but he was too difficult to get into and I would not be able to see him for over a week. They are just too big. The doctors are all very nice individually. The staff is a little at a loss. Like I said, I am looking for another doctor as we speak.

WARNING- This review is for Dr. Sofia Ligard. DO NOT USE HER AS YOUR DOCTOR!

I'm not even sure how this woman received an MD to begin with. All she does is push her government driven agenda on you and your children. Some of the statements she made during a routine exam of a child were mind blowing! Having you call a child obese when she's one of the best athletes in her school and has practically 0% body fat is such a joke! Terrible! Pushing government driven BMI and saying we need to inject her with all these flu shot drugs should be criminal! Telling us that we are risking serious illnesses if she doesn't get a flu shot? Really? Note that this and other crazy scare tactic words were said in front if the child. will be filing a complaint against her!

My medications went missing while traveling in America and needed them replaced. I made an appointment and seen a doctor at this clinic only to be made to feel like a drug addict and then told to go to an ER to get them replaced.

Any travels in the same predicament, I would advise you not to go here.

Every time I come here the wait in lobby is ridiculous!!! I mean like 45 minutes to an hour and a half!!! Then when they call you back its another 25 minutes to an hour!! Every single time! For some reason they seem to think their time is more valuable than mine!
