Clarks Shiraz Agra Review

It's an awesome place to stay in Agra. Excellent value for money. Very courteous waiters, antique rooms and good food. Above all, just 2 kilometers from Taj Mahal

Barely struggling to retain its 5 star status. Hygeine, maintenance, staff and quality of food were all substandard. The meal at the Mughal Room was good though

One of the oldest property in Agra, 5 starred, variety of rooms, banquet halls, restaurant, elevators, spacious parking, food is up to the standards, popular for functions, meetings, amongst travellers too....

This is hotel is decent, with aging furniture and facility. The breakfast buffet is not halal. It serves pork strip. Many lauded it as muslim friendly hotel, but save your money elsewhere.

A reasonably good hotel with an average good rating. Good for conduct of mass party functions.

As a tour leader, we've been coming to this hotel for a few years. The improvements in the rooms and the food is paying off. Cleans rooms and the a good variety of food. Also caters easily to food allergies.

Good hotel. Not as per expectation. Locals have hyped alot. But if you want a room with budget, then it would be good. Breakfast is OK. But other roof top restaurants are good and pricy.

Great hotel and staff. Faced a couple of service related issues and I hope management would address them promptly.

Good place. Corridor and hall is beautiful. Rooms could have been improved a bit more. Service is excellent. But no complimentary breakfast. They gave a cake as compliment as it was our honeymoon :D

Overall it was nice, but they could be more courteous and not charge an additional 500 RS per night for our personal driver, even if they want to charge then they need to ensure that the accommodation and food provided is for some decent quality and scale.

Descent Hotel. Room size was good. They have a huge garden enough to take a morning/evening walk. Buffet breakfast was also good. they have a pool and play area for kids. The Hotel maintains a heritage look and the property does give a feel of luxury. Though still i would not categorize it as a high end 4-5 star property. I would consider it somewhere in between a 3-4 star hotel.

It is one of the oldest hotels of agra and a very decent place for marriage functions.

This is the oldest five star of Agra. The ambiance is classy and elegant. The Mughal view room has a view of the Taj Mahal as well as the Agra Fort. The food is great.

It is a nice place with good ambiance. We had our dinner at this place which was delicious. The staff is well mannered and courteous. It is ensured that you get royal treatment from your arrival to departure from the table.

A very good hotel in agra the service, staff, ambience are all good .... staff is very much polite. Gaming area is very good for kids as even parents can enjoy with their kids.... they give you a map of agra and near by place .... which helps if you are missing out some thing on your list. Most important it's in the centre of Taj and the fort.

Food very good service excellent and costly naturally. As services and quality comes with cost.

The Mughal room is known for its Indian cuisine however I tried their continental and oriental cuisine which sounds a bit strange but I guess I am a lil strange wen it comes to food. The food is on the expensive side with fried rice and Hakka noodles costing around 700-800 bucks and the sizzler around 900 bucks( I am a total sizzler gal). The sizzler was strictly ok but the Chinese food was good. During my stay here I have realised that most five star hotels in agra cater to the taste of foreigners (agra sees a lot of foreigners all through the year) because of which the food generally is on the bland side though m not complaining.
The ambience here is great with live gazal during the weekends and the staff is more courteous compared to their counterparts in the all day dining restaurant downstairs

Food is awsm in taste, arrangements are very good, and good facilities.

The room was nice and the food was good. The only thing that needs more work was the AC other than that wverything was good.

What can i say about Clarks.. amazing facility. Serene. Calm ... peaceful. But more than the property would like to write about the staff specifically mr Ramesh who was in night shift . His interaction was great . Felt so good after talking to him. I had a bad experience with another hotel in Agra that day and he was quick in acknowledging and helped us with our query. During the stay he kept in touch and i found him to be an asset to Clarks.

V nice hospitality. V. Punctual and well mannered and welcoming/warm staff. Nice decor. Real close to the Taj Mahal makes it an ideal location for a first class vacation/business trip/honeymoon spot etc. Amaaaaze food and lounge!

One of the finest Hotel in Agra . I came to know that it's AGRA oldest 5 star hotel. I really love this hotel. Food is excellent but expensive. Rooms was very clean and equipped with all modern facilities. Reception was helpful and other services was up to the mark.

Lastly Gr8 Hotel and i must recommend to others to stay at once.

I went there once the food was awesome except chicken tandoori and inside the retaurant there was nice music as well...even its not too much modern as its very old but still it looks fantastic .....
