CITYMD Review

Extremely bad experience with one of so called doctor he s incompetent and doesn t know how to take a simple nasopharyngeal swab, he didn t touch the nasopharynx and barely touch the nose from inside. What s worse is he didn t proberly clean the skin for blood work. I m worried I got an infection now... Not to mention the bad attitude and not caring about my privacy.
Do yourself a favor and DO NOT go there.
I cancelled my visit and will make sure they don t bill for their fake service.
I feel very sorry for patients who trust him including the not properly taken corona test.
Don t expect that you are new they will care! Most of people there were first time patients! They don t care about doing real service; of course because their business model is based on one time visit.

What a Godsend! CityMD is an awesome walk-in medical care clinic. All are welcome here and it's easy to feel welcomed considering their open door policy and friendly staff. The CityMD staff get excited with every new face. This place is spotless too which comforts patients. I wish the best for CityMD and hope that they continue to expand.

I wasn t convince with the PA. Everyone was helpful though. PA didnt give me a clear diagnosis. PA just gave me a higher dose of med and I m surprised. Shouldnt the PA start at lower dosage? Anyhow, i respect the PA s judgment but I rather go back to my original clinic and doctor. I tried and I wasnt convince and still recovering.

I have to be honest I was skeptical before I went in. As everyone does, I checked their Google reviews before deciding to go, and they were good but all over the place. So I took a chance and went in. It was around 3:30 pm on a Sunday and it was not busy at all. The digital check-in process is VERY easy and quick and the front desk staff was friendly and amicable! No forms to fill out which to me is a huge plus! I only waited about 10mins before they brought me back to an exam room. I was met by Marwen, the medical assistant, he was very nice and since I was there for a slightly embarrassing Mens Health issue, I was anxious already but he put me at ease. After he was done, PA Allison Eimer came in to discuss my issues. She was nothing short of fantastic! Great bedside manner and honestly, WAY more through that I thought a PA would be. She spent quite a bit of time explaining all my options and possible diagnosis. After all that they will be setting me up for an ultrasound and a visit to a urologist as well. I highly recommend this CIty MD location and if you can see Allison the PA, run, don't walk, she's stellar. Thanks for making me feel so at ease.

Unprofessional, rude, slow, and deliberately ambiguous in the language they use to talk to customers about their services.

When getting a flu shot just remember to not go to cityMD even if your insurance covers your shot you will still get charged for urgent care, so better to just go to a local pharmacy like Walgreens or Duane Reade. Also it was a 40 minute wait for me.

Talking to customer service and the billing department was also exceptionally unhelpful and unpleasant.

If something urgent happens, you would not go to this urgent care.

Excellent streamlined operation. Had COVID testing done prior to returning to Maine. Visit was well organized and focused and my time was not wasted. I appreciate that very much. Doctor was professional and personable and competent. I am a practicing physician myself and highly recommend this facility! Keep up the good work.

Have been a patient here for various reasons. Staff as well as the manager, Natalie are pleasant. The doctors are sweet. They try their best to bring you in and are very accommodating

Really friendly staff and were helpful even beyond the closing time. We were visiting NYC when we needed to see a doctor for my kid and are glad we found this place!

Efficient, friendly, and professional. I was the last person of the night to walk in so maybe that is part of the reason I did not have to wait long. But I think that they would have been faster than most Urgent care locations I've been to anyway.

Came here for rapid COVID test on a Sunday morning. Arrived at 8:20 am and they opened at 9 am. We were 9th in line. Took the test around 10:10 and got the results at 10:55 am. Staff was really nice and caring. Very good experience overall.

I ve gotten 2 covid tests and 1 antibody test there over the past few months. Very satisfied with the ease and price of the tests (FREE with my insurance.) The last time I went, the line took a very long time, but I was able to wait outside and once you get called in, the visit is very quick. I wore an N95 mask the entire time except when he took the swab, which is really quick.

I highly suggest this place. The staff is super friendly and nice. Prices are high without insurance but it's worth it.

This place makes COVID seem like a walk in the park. Sure the staff are nice but CITYMD is a terrible medical group. I did my Covid test here and honestly I think it might ve been a better experience to be intubated and near death than deal with them.

Doesn t provide me log in information to access lab results for COVID tests that I paid for. Wait time for call center is over 98 minutes. No responses to emails. Still don t know the results of any of my tests. Been over 10 days.

Avoid them. If you re concerned you may have COVID, you might be better off getting COVID than dealing with them. Go anywhere else.

Edit: Found out they did not even input my information so I couldn t access the system and my results. Nice people sure - but incredibly incompetent. COVID diagnosis > CityMD. Any day.

Dr Eric Was absolutely terrible. I would expect a doctor to have some semblance of professionalism. I asked if I could do the nasal swab myself and he told
Me that it was not allowed, he then completely violated me to make a
Point and then said, see! You could never do it like that.
It s worth mentioning that I have been tested every 2 weeks since June and several times at City md and I have never had such a horrible experience.

I've been here twice, and I've been very pleased each time! The doctors are very kind and straightforward, and I've never waited longer than 10 minutes in the waiting room. I also love that they call to check up on you to make sure you're doing better. Great place if you're not feeling well!

Been here a few times including yesterday and have always had a good experience.

CityMD is the equivalent of Fast Food Medical Care. I was experiencing some internal pain so went in and was seen in a reasonable time frame. Lab work was taken and sent for results. After the lab results came back all clear, I called back and asked to speak with or leave a message for a callback from the Dr. and NPA that saw me to see if they had any ideas or suggestions for the cause. I was told that it would be impossible speak them or even leave a message for a call back, because their staff move around from location to location and they have no way of tracking their locations. Really? That is a scary thought if true. The only option was to speak with alleged Aftercare representative, at a call center. The rep. told me to continue taking the prescribed medications until they are finished (there were none) and asked other questions that confirmed to me they had not read my chart. Final issue, after 4 weeks I still cannot obtain a detailed receipt so I can submit the $200+ bill to my insurance for reimbursement. OK in a pinch and just know what you are getting (or not getting).

Great clinic for those who need to see a doctor right away (I did insurance through general insurance and they referred me to the clinic).
Kind staff who provide quick and high quality response

During the COVID-19 pandemic had to wait in line outside for over two hours in the cold before being allowed to sit down in the waiting room.

I have always had great experiences here. it's become my "go-to" for urgent care. Recently, a doctor went above and beyond to help me when I had pneumonia. 9 days later, I am feeling much better. Without the doctor's insight, I know I would not have recovered as quickly as I did. Thank you!
