These people are con artist! Straight and simple! ...

These people are con artist! Straight and simple! They charged me for and extra month of service after I went to their webpage and cancelled service, and had the nerve to only send me a confirmation email for my second attempt cancellation while I was still on the phone with them! They tried to tell me that just cause I received an email that they made right then, that it proved that they received one and not the other! Then they asked me to send them a copy of the first email that they never sent as proof that I cancel a month before! I have kids I have to take care of, but they as a company could care less about their customers. I would of gone with another company if they didn't have a monopoly over my neighborhood. Who do we contact to look in to matters like this?!

It s unfortunate that regardless of the issue: a bill, medical forms, double check on power outages, anything really the representatives are incredibly rude! I ve had this utility company for years and it improved temporarily. However, they are right back at it! Diana(Diane), Leila the supervisor and just about any other person I have spoken with all have their tactics on disconnecting with customers by saying they can t hear you. They will mute themselves so you the customer cannot hear them. It s incredibly ridiculous the methods used to avoid servicing a customer.

These guys are awesome! No, I dont work for them or know anybody down there but these people have always come within 24 hours or an hour if it is an emergency. They are always friendly and take care of everything quickly. I just appreciate every service they have given us. I am pro city! I have never had a bad person or bad service and I have used them several times. Maybe we are lucky but right now I am just amazed by their representation. Keep up the good work!

It seems as though asking for an extension is all up to the individual who is providing service and how they feel that day. I've been without utilities for a week now because I was not 1st in line on a friday when my arrangement was due, rather I woke up at 10am (I work late) to my power being shut off. The technician who scoffed at me (a 29yr old single student/employee living alone in downtown) fast forward to my call to the office where the employee on the phone said that not only could I not break up my past due but must pay the entire amount PLUS a reconnection fee. Brilliant. Becuase obviously the guy who can barely afford his bill as is won't learn his lesson unless we charge him another $60. What kind of practice is that? City of arts and innovation but they can't find a more innovative ways to make arrangements with their local artists? $200 worth of groceries. Spoiled. I wish we could choose our providers. I'd definitely go with Edison. Now to go make a payment that still won't turn my power on and spend more money on candles,ice,today's meals and batteries. Talk about your city really making you feel low.

The recycling bin wasn t picked up on the trash day. No big deal except that I called every day since then and I was told it would get handled. Now it s a week later and I suppose they ll pick it up on regular trash day. If they don t want to do their job they should credit our bill.
