This is a really bad experience.

This is a really bad experience.
I paid the pro-kart fee but give me a fun kart quality.as I saw the kart cover is broken, I asked to change a kart.they do n t allow.
This is a very bad experience, I will not come back again.shut down, bad service bad experience.
This is a very bad experience, I suggest that the majority of Chinese compatriots should not be cheated, Daddy! I spent a high price on a very bad experience, and you have to be careful, the lady at the counter will collect money from you in a mess, don't be stunned. I wanted to relax and get more upset. I really feel bad. If you want to have a disappointing experience, welcome to Kart race makati. Make sure you get a stroke!

This is a fun karting place in Makati. There aren't a lot of people karting here when we came so we had the track to ourselves. The track was alright. The only problem was there was a section of the track that was uneven so it kinda ruined the experience specially if you are racing someone. Some of the karts were also poorly maintained that I even had to switch karts mid-session because it was nog running smoothly and the engine kept shutting down.

A accessible establishment if you a want a rush of speed. The only problem is the karts. Even though chose the "pro" karts which are the fastest. They tend to break down. Like if you're a group of friend of 6. Karts will likely breakdown.

Dear people of the public. This is the worst Karting place I have been to. The front desk lady looked like she was on alcohol and drugs. She tried to charge us expensive and high taxes. Luckily, my dad roasted that chatterbox. She also asked for an ID, driver's license, passport, etc. Why the hell do you need these types of personal info just for fun? Where's the logic?! I have to say though that the racing was fun and amazing. And also before that, I'll give you more details. We had to wait 2 hours after we were scheduled to go. Also, we caught one of the guards watching Logan Paul and subbing to T-Series.

Im giving this 5 star because i really had fun & enjoyed riding to the fullest . Im not sure how accessible the place in commute, i drove my car going there & parking is huge. There were less than 10 cars parked when i arrived on a Saturday afternoon. We signed the waiver then sign up in their touch screen kiosk (not so hi-tech), paid then we sit & wait inside the airconditioned resto. We didn't wait too long, when it's our turn we were called to go to the racing spot. We left our bags on the table where they reload kerosene to the karts, kuya briefed us, we took our helmet (which is not clean, old, & some or their helmets has broken locks). If you care about cleanliness you better wear a ninja like mask so you also wouldn't smell the kind of disgusting smell of the helmet. We didn't mind it anyway. Im with my fiance & his 2 sibs, we were joined by 4 (1 kid, his mom, 2 chinese teengaer) more people since max number of racers in a batch is 8. Post briefing we went to hop in our designated karts (mine is #3 & it's pink ). The kuyas started our engines & we started racing. The kart itself is too basic but it's so fun overspeeding & driving a non power steering wheel. I won 3 place yay! The 2 chinese teenage boys were 1st. Btw, this was also free, a treat from my fiance's sibs so yay! Triple the fun! I didn't expect that I'll enjoy this so much hehe... this is highly recommended for a small group team activity. I think it's 650 for 12 mins.

Awesome track, challenging and fun, very safe for children all ages (son was 6yrs on 1st race)
12mins pro kart p950 (non-member)
12mins fun kart p750 (approx)
One time register fee p120 (approx)

The track itself was nice. Well designed. They have friendly and courteous staff. They also have a system that tracks your lap times and performance complete with your picture and name.

The one thing I do not like is that not all karts are well maintained. If you end up with a slower and older kart, even if you paid for the "pro" kart that is more expensive, it is going to suck.

And yeah. They're kinda expensive.

Running karts, although in normal condition, is also a good place to drive without a driver s license.
Before you come:
1. Remember to bring documents;
2. Fee 1,100P (price based on the day of play)
3. Business hours from pm to 11 pm.

Staff were professional and friendly. Carts were a bit ghetto as others have mentioned but brakes and gas worked fine. Track is small but fun; lined with tires for safety and trees for scenerey.

Cons: They were limited in helmet selection (either too big or too small) and in desperate need of cleaning, some even missing their lining entirely. P950 for only 12min - a bit expensive.

Overall it was a fun and pleasant experience.

The go kart looks old and not well maintained. The helmets are also old and some of them have missing parts and torn straps which could be a compromise on safety. The track wasn't that big. It was also quite expensive for 1100 php and only offer 12 minutes of racing time. And given the quality of gears, track, race kart, and helmets, it's not worth the value we paid for. Nonetheless I enjoyed the experience and had fun with my friends. Probably would not do it again here though.

It is just right next to Circuit Makati (a mall). Before they had good engines for the carts but when we went there just last month there are some problems with the engines. They should have a good maintenance.

The timing makes no sense. Was told I get 12 minutes. They let me in minutes after some kids started. Then when their minutes were over, I got flagged to exit the track with them. My stats show that I did not get to consume those 12 minutes. That is a rip-off.
Registration fee is 160 btw.

The Kart was slow and we caught one of the staff trying to pit-pocket us. Thats ok because we T-Posed on him (he was the same person that subscribed to T-Series).

I will get on with my face photo and personal registration.
Lap time, fastest time, ranking etc. are displayed on the monitor of the tea room.
Send time, ranking to email.
Since it is about 12 minutes in one set, we will set 3 races from 5 laps to 7 laps with a break in between.
Some Tsuwamono cut 1 minute lap, but my fastest lap was 1 minute 12 seconds.
The corner is quicker in grip driving, but I enjoyed it with drift.
I was satisfied very much because a full-fledged cart was made at less than 3000 pesos.

Kart peeps, don't forget your cards before going here! No ID, no race! Our first visit was nearly spoiled by this rule. Good thing there's a WiFi from the mall & I was able to contact my wife for a copy of my kid's passport. Having experienced Class A karting abroad, City Kart Racing is a far cry from that. But nevertheless, I want my kid to also experience the joy of karting, so we'd continue no matter what. City Kart does not provide everyone with a complete race outfit. They just have some stock of suits & helmets. If you can find one that fits you, good for you. Better to bring your own if you have one. The track is good but it does not have a pro racing feel. The good thing with City Kart is that they record timings not only to distinguish the winner but also to rate it with all the past races. The results can be received through email or text & can be posted on social media, too. The cafe beside the track also has a little racing theme to it. You can eat or drink while viewing the race going on. City Kart Racing pales in comparison with those in abroad but it's still good that we have a karting facility in our city.

Front desk was average. Although when we were there, Some people were arguing a couple of issue like their system had crashed before and some had to fill out a form, but not have the record on their system once it was up, some had vouchers that had a buy 1 take 1, but the take 1 part was different from the one that they bought(?)

Requirements:
You will need to sign acknowledgement form waiving your rights in case of any accidents occurring during the race.
Registration fee is 160Php. You will also need to input your information on their computers.
All Racers will need an ID to race, Underage children must be accompanied by a guardian.

Choosing a Kart:
Funkart - Recommended for first time racers. You will not be utilizing the full speed of Prokarts and since you're still a beginner with a group of people you may or may not know, most likely you will not speed up and overtake that much.It is still speedy so be careful. Also check for seatbelts.
Prokart - Recommended for Experienced racers. If you're racing with a group of people that knows how to race and follows the rules/flags then use this kart.

Safety & Equipment:
A referee will show the racer the do's and don't on the race, show the meaning of the flags. All are pretty straight forward.
The only free equipment is the Helmet. The helmets have the same size, All the visors are scratched up and will hinder the racer's vision so don't bother, All helmets has a sweaty smell. you might want to at least use a headsock which they sell, That costs 150Php. So you might want to bring your own(Helmet,gloves,vest,headsock,etc.,).
Please note that these Karts DO NOT have Seatbelts. So be very careful.

The Kart:
ProKarts are not of the same quality as the others. most of them has issues such as: Lower torque, dysfucntional steering, Deep breaks, etc. ProKarts do not have seatbets.

The Track:
There is only one track and it is outdoors. The 3rd and 12th turn has tires in the way. There is a hill right after the 11th turn which most likely the referre is located for visual purposes.
The roads are fine, but the tree branches will sometimes get on your face specially if you're around 5ft tall. the 3rd and 12th turns has tires in the way, making it only passable for 1 kart.

The Race:
No warm up was given, No flag was shown to initiate "the race".Begginners may drive slowly, others may not quickly note that they are being flagged(blue). The referree(1) was not on an optimal flagging location in my opinion. It was still fun overall.
The results of the race are shown on the screen in their lounge located behind the front desk. It is also emailed to you to show your best times with your name, but unfortunately without the kart number to verify if that was you or not.
In our experience, Our record had a mix up. Not too much of an issue since we were racing for fun.

The Referees:
2 out of 3 races we did had only 1 referee which was located in between the 11th & 12th turn, which had a hill, and tree branches hanging down. Take note that the 12th turn has ties placed in the inside turn. So if a racer is being flaged down, either it's likely they won't be able to see they're flagging or it's too late because they're already on the sharp left turn(12th).
When you spin out, you just need to raise your hand to get help. But if you're around the tree branches of course they won't be able to see you and it will take a while.
If the racer got bumped by other racers, They would not receive a violation(Black flag). Instead they'll just state that the racer(you) are not using the breaks properly and will proceed to push you in to the race. This in mind, It shows that they do not incorporate other flags[1] in races.

[1]They only have the Yellow,Blue, and Checkered flag. They do not use the Green,Red,Black, and White flag.

Overall fun practice for me and fun experience for my S.O. Recommended for beginners.

Not so much for experienced racers.

A bit pricey to start. The condition of the track is good. The facilities are good with bathroom and a place to sit and watch the race. Conditions of the karts are mediocre for me, but better than what's in EK from when I went years ago. Enjoyable experience with good facilities. Just needs work on being cheaper and maintaining the karts better.

Race track is big enough for a few spins and you definitely can have fun with your friends. Rates are a little bit expensive but imho was worthit for occasional recreation. Helmets are clean but definitely not new so some of them do have some odor like most old helmets

So this was a tossed up between 3 to 4 stars. I choose 4 stars due to the fact that we had an extended race. They made a mistake on their part (forgot to put the monitors on the vehicle, which keeps track of our timer) and it resulted in extra laps for me. The karts are extremely ghetto and straight from the scrapyard. Gas tanks are visibly in between your legs and the gasoline is very potent. They start by signing you in and explaining the basics. Once they finish, you grab a helmet (its not cleanse) and hop on to your issued kart. Then its off to the races. Overall, the karts are pretty fast and handle pretty well for its conditions. I recommend this for teens and people dating (great ice breakers). Just be mindful that this is a dangerous activity and you should take it slow at first. Well thats pretty much it...have fun! Salamat!

Great kart experience. The race track is very nice with upper and lower area, steep turns and bridges. The results are uploaded online and they also have mobile application. If I remember correctly the price is 950 and there is additional registration fee for first time racer. Take the 3 set package if you really like racing and want to save some money.

Avoid at all costs, waste of money. 0/5 stars. The front desk girl is extremely rude and unprofessional. Unfriendly attitude towards customers. I accidentally hit the tires on the side of the track with the kart, and the attendants were screaming at me. I took off my helmet and told them, don't shout at me or else! What kind of customer service is this? Rude front desk girl, who honestly looks like she is from Burgos Street, and rude, shouting track staff. Never go to this place!

Fun place to ride and enjoy go kart, as of 2020 walk in price starts at 1,110php per hit which is 12mins time lap. Its better if you bring your own helmet so that you won't wear the free helmets that everyone uses

I have seen a lot of negative reviews about this place especially on Facebook but so far I haven't had any bad experience with their karting services. Its not cheap but the service they offer is quite justified with their facilities. This is the best amateur race kart facility in the metro by far. I just hope they stay in this place permanently.

Very inconsistent with the rule of requiring a driver's license, and personnel aren't very accommodating. (at least during the time we went). I'm not sure if it was because of the attire I was wearing - I was wearing "pambahay" clothes when I went in - but the people seemed very accommodating towards the foreigners. (there were 2 groups who were foreigners)
