Excellent, authentic, pleanty of surprising flavors. Try the buffet for lunch, it's worth it. Unless you know another place like this in Hudson valley area. Go for it. Clean quiet, but if you bring all your friends and family then rev it up. ..

Citrus is a fantastic restaurant offering excellent Indian and Thai cuisine with unparalleled service from a dine in restaurant in this area. We have ordered take out, dine in for dinner, and love weekend buffet visits. A must eat establishment of your in the area.

Food here is always excellent, been coming here and there the last few years with a decent amount of time in between and it's always been consistent. Bit pricey but well worth it, look forward to coming back again

We went for the lunch buffet. The staff was constantly monitoring and switching food out to keep it fresh. The food was AMAZING. I think the buffet price was around $13 per person and it was completely worth it. Everything was incredible. The place for really busy shortly after noon , and it is completely understandable. We will definitely return.

One of the best Indian & Thai cuisine restaurant in upstate New York near to Woodbury Commons. Chicken Tikka Masal is really good. I like Chicken Malai Kabab, Tandoori Chicken and Dal Makhani also.

I like the Indian food here. I think the lunch buffet is great. They also offer military discount. When I am in the mood for Indian this is my goto place. If anyone is curious as to why I rate it so highly, its because they are consistently good. When I come here I know the table is going to look beautiful, the waiter is going to be attentive and anything I order will come out perfect every time. Cleanliness, service and food, three things I think anyone would agree makes a 5 star restaurant.

Never tried Indian food before but this place made it a pretty enjoyable experience. The food is served buffet style and it's delicious. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to expand their pallet

Extensive lunch buffet with a wide range of delicious choices. Very attentive staff. Decor inside is attractive. Both the Indian and Thai dishes were very flavorful and well-made. Kids menu is a little limited, but our toddler decided he liked the naan from the buffet more than the kids meal we ordered! Will definitely return to this restaurant. Even my husband, who generally doesn't much care for Indian food, greatly enjoyed it.

Absolutely a fantastic experience. The infusion of Thai and Indian food is so delightful. The service is magnificent and the quality of the food is without a doubt incredible. I have dined in both the buffet and takeout and it was a great experience. The pricing was a bit much but it was worth it. Look out for my review coming on TK Adventures on YouTube.

Cozy and clean place with a warm and friendly atmosphere. We went here for lunch. They offer either menu items to order or an extensive buffet with a great selection of dishes. The food was varied to meet almost any palate and it was fresh and delicious.

Service is TERRIBLE. Servers are extremely rude. I don t understand why Indian people are rude to other Indian people. Waiters are not assigned and they don t communicate with each other. The food is good but Overpriced. They charged $3 for 3 pieces of onion. Honestly not the best Indian restaurant, go somewhere else instead.

It was amazing! Delicious food. Many options. Vegetarian and spice level options. Very sophicated atmosphere. Servers were top notch. Very clean! My sister dropped her knife and picked it up. When the server who saw it walked by he quickly replaced it with a clean one. Also when giving us the plates he noticed a tiny spot on the plate and washed it and wiped it twice before giving it back. Also they wrapped our leftovers to go for us. Definitely recommend!!!!!

The food is incredible, every dish served I give a 10 plus and would tell a friend or family member to go and enjoy. The service is friendly but when ordering from the bar it took some time to get our drinks.

I decided to try out this restaurant due to the high reviews. Wow!. This place is a gem in the New Windsor area. I have tried Indian cuisine in upscale restaurants in Manhattan to the casual ones. I never had such flavorful dishes. Cooked to perfection. I forgot to even take the pictures. The Naan bread was perfect. Every dish I tried was good.(vindaloo, Korma, samosa...) The place was quite busy yesterday but they really made sure the seating's were far apart and follow the state guidelines, which really made me comfortable. The Waiters were pleasant and very helpful. Heard from the next table that the Thai dishes are amazing. I will be back soon to try the Thai. Thank you Citrus!

Citrus prepares an amazing blend of Indian and Thai cuisine. Our party of five was seated promptly, being attended to by the courteous, friendly staff. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. Drinks were quick to arrive after being ordered, and the tea was amazing! Even if you are unsure of what to order, or have never eaten cuisine of this type before, have no fear. There is something for everyone on the menu, including selections for kids. The knowledgeable staff can make recommendations based on your tastes. The degree of spiciness can be tailored to your taste. There are vegetarian as well as meat dishes available to choose from. The Kundapur Chicken Curry was quite good, and the Palak Gosht (Lamb), was absolutely amazing! All entrees arrived promptly, together, hot, and prepared to perfection. Basmati rice is served with the entrees. Serving size is above average. The desserts are excellent. A must try is the Mango Cheesecake! Prices and location good, service is excellent. RECOMMENDED

I really love Indian food and appreciate the traditional fare when its well made and not Americanized to bland and boring. Citrus has not only a very comprehensive menu but can tailor make your meal to any level of spice you request. The staff is very friendly and the service is prompt and attentive. The restaurant is always clean and I applaud these guys for the care and pride they put into their business. Well done!

It was surprisingly good taste, rich, flavorful, spiciness was definitely spicy. We ordered Thai spicy soft noodle with chicken and chicken curry & garlic naan. Reasonable prices, friendly service with etiquette. Would go back again.

We are never disappointed with the quality and flare of the food and service at Citrus. We decided to get out of our food comfort zone the other night and asked for recommendations with a result being blown away! The welcoming and comfortable ambiance helps you relax and let the food just take care of your soul. Needless to say, we're big fans and absolutely recommend a trip to Citrus!

This was my first experience at an Indian restaurant. I absolutely love everything about this place, the food, the service and everything was amazing. The lychee juice is a must, poori bread, lasuni gobi are delicious. My husband has the lamb chop stew and he can t stop talking about it.

Lovely restaurant, attractive, clean. Every time we go there, I order a new dish, and I've yet to be disappointed. The staff is always friendly, pleasant, and eager to answer all questions. Last week, Arjun was our waiter. When we couldn't remember the name of the bread we usually order, Arjun explained every type of bread to us. Now we know Puri Bread is the "big bubble bread" (lol) we love so much. I highly recommend Citrus.

Love their lunch buffet, price was really good before, I think they have increased the price for the lunch little bit, but still nice place to eat when you get a craving for Curry & Indian food.

The staff here were incredibly rude to me and my mother (who is a regular) partly because we are Indian since they only care about their 90% white demographic as one of the waiters told me. Food wise it's okay, but there's much better if you can travel across the river to Fishkill or Peekskill . Vegetarian buffet menu is a hit or miss depending on the day.
