I've worked with Citadel on many corporate events over several years and found them to be highly responsive, with great customer service. I would definitely work with them again for event security anywhere around the NYC area.
I hired Citadel Security for a 6 day event and all the security agents that they sent were on time, clean cut and professional. We had one incident in our venue and the agent was on top of it and even got the police involved. These agents take their jobs seriously and have passion for what they do. I will use Citadel for all of my security needs.
Citadel was my first real security job and I have worked for many companies since. None of them ever came close to the family like atmosphere and the deep sense of professionalism that come with that uniform. It was the best place for a young man to start I have worked on every level of this industry and I can say in all honesty Citadel had a hand in preparing me thank you Tommy and Ian.
When asking around with trusted sources in my industry as to what security company to hire they all said Citadel. They were slightly more expensive than some of the other quotes we received, but we figured you get what you pay for, and everyone said they're the best. We were hosting an art exhibition which was a really big project for us, but we were a tiny client for Citadel who does security for all of the major events in the city, nonetheless, the owners came personally to the site visit to meet us and walk through our event with us. That meant a lot to us. The security guards they sent were great guys, were professional, and handled the event very well. We would absolutely hire Citadel again in the future.

I called them for a last minute event and they came through in a pinch 100%. Our guard, Tony, was courteous and prompt. I felt we were in good hands the entire time. The rates are also very competitive. I will use them again.
We needed a security guard to protect our home during a movie shoot happening in our neighborhood. Having gone through a movie shoot before we knew what could happen and didn't want things to go wrong again. We found Citadel by doing a Google search and are so glad we ended by using them. They were professional on all fronts, from initial contact, to booking, to the guard they sent over. It was a steamy, hot day and our guard never wavered from his post or his job. He made our whole family feel safe and he had our best interest in his mind at all times. I would definitely use Citadel again for any security needs we have and would highly recommend using them.
I hire Citadel for all of my fashion events. The guards are prompt, well dressed, and respectful. Management has always been cordial. Citadel is at the top of the security game in New York City. I highly recommend them.
I give this company one star!!!! After the way I was treated and disrespected I will never work with them again as a security guard nor anything else. Being lied upon by the owners and management team it felt a bit racist!! Also will not recommend anyone to this company either. This company has to many chiefs and not enough indians.
Your guard's that cover the javit center have no sense of direction and are extremely rude for no apparent reason, do not recommend

I've used Citadel as my security provider for Events in NYC for the past 15 years and can't speak more highly of them. Always attentive and flexible, their team of guards and security officers are excellent. Highly recommended!
Working for this company was great. The only problem was, by doing what a supervisor told me to do got me in trouble. I'm not sure shes a supervisor. I did not know that a free mesh bag, a coloring book, a free magazine's, and a star wars painted candle (was my personal gift). I'm going to say it's my personal property & was taken from me by a account manager. I was not told where's the employee entrance. All of this got me fired. I never work for a security agency who like's to take peoples property and embarrass the person & fire the person. Also the account manager stated I was trespassing. How do you trespass on your job? I dont get on how I been trespassing on a four day event without being told about it. Also too many chiefs and no Indians. Citadel should not and will not do security for comic con. Thanks Citadel for the thievery & embarrassment.
I use Citadel for event security twice yearly during NYC fashion week. We've hired Citadel for security guards and event security for our fashion shows and celebrity escorts. Ty and David provide a consistently high level of service with flexibility and professionalism.
I worked with Citadel on a large project at Randall's Island this Spring and a smaller event near the High Line. We hired them to cover security for our clients and their staff were top notch, very professional and not your typical security company! They helped a lot on the production end and were a key part of our success!
I worked with them one day for the Car Show. That was it. When I got home feet and back was hurting didn't go back the next day. They had too many bosses watching you. I will stay with the company I am at for 12.00 hrs they only pay me I wont say it. I wasn't provided a shirt I had to go and buy my own shirt . Thanks anyway citadel.
I requested info pertaining to training I was told to speak with David or Ty so the day after I called back I spoke with some guy who informed me to go online and find out more about the training because he claimed that David or Ty doesn't know anything about the security guard training I searched their website unfortunately there's no info on receiving through Citadel
Out of the many security firms I have used over the years, Citadel is by far the most professional and effective in planning, allocating security resources, and executing a security plan. I highly recommend their services.
Worked here and let me tell you how a guy that worked with me did not have a security license nor did he have a 16 onj or an 8 hour annual but somehow made more then me with experience and all he was white I am black .
