Cipriani Hotel 5st L. Orient-Express Luxury Train & Hotels Review

I'm disappointed of the hotel. I can't believe that they have an eagle in captivity crying for its freedom. Was terrible, that wouldn't be allow it!

My boyfriend and I just returned from a spontaneous trip to Venice where we stayed at Cipriani. We always stay at the top luxury hotels all over the world. I must say, we found this hotel an absolute treat. What a magical place. The huge pool, staff, food, cocktails.. and entire experience is simply excellent.

This hotel is close enough to St Marks Square where all the attractions are (approx, 10 min boat ride), but far enough away from the chaotic tourists so you can completely relax.

We loved it so much that we re already to return next month!

I have been coming to this hotel for more than ten years now. My absolute favorite hotel in the world. It's not the building, it's the people. They are amazing. Location wise, you are in Venice, but not in Venice. Peace. Tranquility.

Unsuspecting audience that likes to eat burgers and chips

Food quality was excellent. The food was very reasonably priced. The view was also amazing. The drinks on the other hand were way overpriced. I had dinner at a Michelin Star restaurant two nights previous and the drinks 50% more expensive at Cip's Club. The cosmo my wife had was $22 and was mediocre. Overall, phenomenal food (taste and value), breathtaking views, horribly expensive drinks.

I have been coming to this hotel for more than ten years now. My absolute favorite hotel in the world. It's not the building, it's the people. They are amazing. Location wise, you are in Venice, but not in Venice. Peace. Tranquility.

Fantastic location for any outdoor activity. A combination of gardens and a lagoon that is hardly comparable in the Venetian island.

The Cip's Club at Hotel Cipriani is highly recommended. Top location with a fantastic view of Venice. Service was perfect, very good sommelier, small (-) the carpaccio is getting used to ... ;-)

Beautifully situated and appointed hotel, with all the facilities you could need, lovely rooms with a fantastic bathroom, restaurants, bars and a pool, a garden to walk in and staff who cannot do enough to assist. One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in.

Incredible location, astronomical prices at the edge of ridicule!

In life, have you ever wanted the impossible? Good: then treat yourself to a stay in this hotel. External beauty is indisputable ... internal beauty too. A sense of peace comes and goes, which only enchanting places managed with professionalism and elegance can transmit. From the reception you enter the well-kept internal garden with trees and rose gardens: you forget that you are surrounded by the waters of the lagoon. At the end of the garden, and passing through a private area, there is access to another overlooking the lagoon, from where it is possible to disembark and embark, where you can admire an unforgettable panorama, where it is possible to sit at the tables drinking drinks or eating, and finally, where you can access the "granari room" (ancient granaries) all in bricks and exposed beams, used to host events or special meetings. A dream to live in reality. I recommend afternoon tea at the bar (a treat to give refreshment to the body and spirit) where, with great professionalism and elegance, the staff in charge, serves him with extreme care (Thanks to Samuele and colleagues).

the hotel is absolutely overpriced and its not 5 star by any means . ive stayed 5 star and this isnt 5 star.overpriced .

Simply Top If anyone looks at prices he is wrong here! But that was certainly not in the sense of the inventor "It is a haven of peace in all the Venetian bustle. Excellent quality of food and drink. Very trained, friendly and attentive staff !!! If you are looking for uniqueness then this is the right place! If you want to weigh the prices should it stay.

Fantastic hotel with wonderful staff in a beautiful location. Food is simply divine and the pool even more so. The play is expensive but if you can afford it, it is a wonderful experience.

Beautiful place! Just had drinks and dinner there, but nice to have the private boat that takes you back and forth. Would love to stay here next time.

The ne plus ultra of Venice hotels. Can't beat the location, private launch and Michelin starred restaurant. The salt water swimming pool is a must.

Breathtaking property with old-world Italian feel.

A short boat ride away from Venice, the rooms are spacious with modern bathrooms, service is impeccable, and the experience was next level.

Lovely place. I saw the photographer design33.eu at work for an event and the points of view developed curious and intriguing.

At the far edge of the Giudecca on the foundation there is a door that leads to the old barns.
Two salons illuminated by imposing Murano chandeliers can accommodate dozens and dozens of diners only for convivial appointments.

Beautiful hotel and grounds. Rooms are large and generally with great views of the water. The hotel is located on an island that is about a 15 min boat ride to St Marks square. The hotel has a free shuttle boat that runs continoulsy between the hotel and the square which is very convienent.
There were only 2 negatives: first is the table service at the restaurants is slow. We went to breakfast at 840am an we had a 930 water Taxi reservation. They have a breakfast buffet except you have to order eggs from the waiter. We did that right away even before we sat down at our table. Twenty-five minutes later we flagged the waiter and told him we 15 minutes before our water Taxi appointment. 7 minutes later we again reminded the waiter we now had 8 mintues before we had to leave. The eggs finally showed up at 9:27. We had 2 minutes eat our breakfast. The waiter mumbled something about the kitchen being busy but we watched others come, be seated, get their order, finish their breakfast, and leave while we waited for our egg order.
Just be forewarned, if you are on a tight schedule, allow time for the poor table service.

This is a really nice place. Probably 5 star hotel. But it really expensive. One night was around 1800 euros (2000 USD). The hotel restaurant is actually pretty good but again it is expensive. House white wine was 22 euro (25 USD) and it was a small pour (4 oz?). Dinner for 1 with 1 appetizer, 1 prime platter, and 1 second platter plus drinks was 201 euros (about 225 USD).

Very chic hotel Venetian .. a service always kind. Far from everything and calm. . Place filled with anecdotes of people's passages.
