Cineworld Cinemas Ltd Review

Good cinema comfy seating with good leg room. Fantastic visual and audio equipment and when you are done it located in a great location for a bite to eat, loads of free parking and easy to get to by car or train.

Not the best but infinitely better than surrounding cinemas such as the galaxy. Really nice selection of food and very comfortable facilities.

Drinks and goodies over priced (as you would expect) the screens can get very warm (No air circulating). Apart from that it was ok.

Been a unlimited member for over 2 years, and I can't fault the staff or quality of service and products they supply, defo a go to spot and the 4dx is amazing

I love Cineworld. I have one of their unlimited passes. Yes it's expensive though. Yes food and drink costs a lot. But it feels like the cinema if you get what I mean. Big sound. Big screens. Love it.

Great film, bit confused of where to go due to building works

Visit this cinema weekly. Recently refurbished with very comfy seats and good view of films. Plenty of places to eat nearby.

Very good cinemas. Comfortable seating, good size screen and good audio quality. Enjoyed the all round experience. Snacks are a little pricey but tend to be somewhat in line with other cinema chains.

Fairly typical Cineworld venue, but the 4DX is really fun. Good number of screens that are mostly a good size, very convenient for both driving and public transport.

Highly recommend this cinema. They have standard films, Imax 2d and 3d, or 4dx available

Midweek films are great. Like having the place to yourself.

This is a great multiplex with 17 screens including 3D and 4Dx. Usually screening quite a wide variety of films in spacious rooms with good seats. Avoid screens next to the 4Dx as sound carries through.
It would get 5 Stars if it wasn't so expensive. Letchworth is half the price!

We booked to see the live streaming of Take That's final night from Cardiff. The cinema was busy but the atmosphere was amazing. We were impressed to note that alcohol was now available as although we are not big drinkers it means you can make a proper night out of your experience.

They never start the movies on time movie was supposed to start at 1 and we ended up waiting 35 minutes for it to even start. This happens all the time !

A gr8 cinema for the whole family and always clean and tidy

I have been cineworld pass holder for years now, one of my fav places in Stevenage. Mostly I think because I love movies, but also their nachos... dig in on your next visit :)

Perfectly fine cinema, seats could be a tad wider to give a bit more comfort.

Isn t busy in the evenings, prefer the screen arrangements here than most places in Herts and Beds.

Good seats, screen and audio. Concession stand was reasonably priced. Overall good place to hangout.

Went to see last Christmas and I had a great time. The seats are comfortable and the sound and picture quality was good. One of the seats we had had something on it (we thought dried chewing gum) which definitely negatively affected my experience.

Clean and comfortable. Adequate parking. Not cheap but value for money.

Trouble free, I wasnt there in peak hours, but used the terminals to buy my ticket, this worked well, everywhere looked nice and clean.

Pleased with the ease of purchasing tickets and refreshments. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The ticket/lobby area was very clean, as was the screen. Fairly good refreshment selection but some products were out of stock. The ice cream wasn't too expensive in relation to the amount. Cinema experience was very good - seats were comfortable and the sound was great. Would definitely visit again

Saw 1917 in 4dx. Great experience if rather expensive for a trip to the cinema.

Bit expensive but great seats and great cinema experience. They allow you to bring your own (cold) food and drink which I highly recommended as it is very expensive to buy in the cinema.

love the cinema but the staff are soooooooo slow and take ages to do simple tasks

It's pretty good as far as cinemas go, it's always been alot better since they've done it up, however the over advertising here of snacks and other sponsorship deals really feels obnoxious, however I can't really rate it down on that as that's the case with most cinemas, not just this one.

Nice cinema very clean from toilets,lobby and screans. a little pricey but that's what's expected from brand cinemas

Have not been for a long time, not impressed by the self-service system and how expensive it was.

Nice cinema. Is quite big so has quite a few screens. Like going here as the car parking on the leisure park is free, there is also a really good variety if places to eat as well.

It's a shame Cineworld are temporarily closing. The theaters are spotless, the staff are delightful and everyone is 100% masked.

Went to see bad boys for life in 4dx. Good experience!

Good hangout place, with lots of restaurants around

I like to stay positive about most things in life, but this place beat me, we arrived with about half an hour to spare most of which was spent queuing for some ridiculously over priced sweets and popcorn, then mistook the seating selection which shows front seats at the top of the screen, we thought they were at the back, so we sat on top of a huge screen which in close ups was blurred as we were too close, then about half way through it seemed someone turned up the air con, so we were sitting in a fridge in shorts and T shirt, the film was good though seats comfortable with plenty of leg room, next time we will book ahead and take care where we book seats, oh and take a coat.

I enjoyed myself in the cineworld complex in Stevenage. Nice seating, atmosphere was good and staff were helpful and polite.

4dx is a great experience.
Sonic lends itself well to the immersive experience, go see it with kids over 7 .

Excellent. Pick and mix is ridiculously expensive though.

As pricey as any other cinema, lots of parking (occasionally too full - but you'd expect that on a Friday and Saturday). I like the range of restaurants which are fast enough food to grab a bite before or after a movie. There are LOTS of other activities, like a bowling and nightclubs. To be honest, I'm not sure what you could do to improve the place.

Food very over priced not the best but did enjoy film

This is only marred by the lack of seating in the entrance lobby.

Me and my girlfriend were quite apprehensive about returning to the cinema due to the current situation. However, we had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed our Cineworld cinema experience. Staff were super friendly and professional at all times. We felt very safe and the facilities were clean. Despite these uncertain times, a trip to the cinema is still very pleasant.

Fantastic cinema - the same if not better than the BFI in London which is supposed to be the best. The IMAX screen must be one of the biggest in the country and there are loads of screens and now there is even 4DX

4D Cinema is awesome. Watched Rogue One and it's the best experience I have ever had in a cinema. Staff were good and happy to have a laugh with the customers while dealing with the long queue for popcorn. Definitely worth paying the extra to view in 4D rather than 3D. Made my afternoon and the other half was over the moon.

Watched a Bollywood movie here. Whilst the picture and sound are nice, the seating position is not great. It seemed like the screen is positioned higher than it should be.

Some of the staff don't look very happy and helpful.. other wise the cinema is clean and well maintained.

Arrived today at 1640 in order to watch Star Wars @1700, there was nobody manning the ticket kiosk's as there was a sign saying get tickets from the food tills. I eventually got to the front of the massive queues 35 minutes later to find the 1700 show had just sold out. This delay also meant they didn't have 4 seats together for my family for the 1740 showing, and only 4 singles separating us up completely. Now I understand that it was Star wars and very busy, but why did I have to waste 35 minutes stuck behind very hungry people who had pre-paid for their tickets. Surely during the star wars weekend they would have enough staff to man the ticket booth. Anyway we couldn't wait around for the extra hour for the next lot so we went home feeling rather annoyed.

Booked 2 tickets to see Harry Potter and the deathly hallows Pt2 3D (screen 14) and when I arrived the ticket issuing machine did not work. Could not see anyone to ask; other than ticket staff; so had to queue up to get my prepaid tickets. Had to sit thru 15 minutes of adverts, which I did not pay for!; so in addition to expensive tickets Cineworld get additional revenue from advertising! When the movie finally started small safety lights above appear to beam into your eyes and are a constant irritation. The image and sound quality was poor, 3D was completely wasted on this movie. The seats were very uncomfortable after one hour and the food and drink very expensive, all in all a very poor and expensive experience; I do not recommend this cinema and will not be returning.

Cinema is fine just some price crazy. Water 0.5 l. Two pounds. Moore expensive than airport.
