Nice cinema! Nicely decorated and very good picture and sound quality. Parking is free (provided you just watch a movie in the cinema). Furthermore, an employee often briefly tells something about the film before it starts, which is a nice extra!

My visit to this cinema was amazing.

My visit to this cinema was amazing.

Some of the reasons include:
- Very friendly staff
- Nice Snack Bar
- Spacious
- Fast free Wifi
- Cheap (11 to 13 no discount, relatively cheap popcorn)
- Ammenities for kids (ps4, bouncing castle)
- Good public transport access or with car

Was going to attend the Star Wars exhibition at Cinemec Utrecht. Got there and was not allowed to go in with my bag. Apparently too big. (But no mention of this on the site, as far as I could tell). I have to store the bag in a locker. Refused since I do not put my wallet, phone, passport, keys and other stuff in a locker. Especially since they will not claim any liability if the locker is broken into.

Their answer: no refund, can give ticket for next/ other show. As if I am going to drive an hour to catch a show here. Never coming here again.

Great room was great. Enough legroom. Did not look at the head of people in front of you and otherwise great sound. Unfortunately you have to share the armrest with your neighbors. Otherwise certainly 5 stars

What a huge cinema! Luxury seats. Wide choice of food and drinks. Elevator available for disabled people. The wide stairs are ideal, so do not get in each other's way. 3d experience is also good. Free parking for cinema visitors. Absolutely great. Recommended!

Modern cinemas, but Cinemec Utrecht unfortunately has little charm. It feels more like a business premises. The story before the movies remains very nice. Tip: park in front of the building. This parking space is free, unlike the parking space behind the building.

The cinema is easily accessible by bus and train (...

The cinema is easily accessible by bus and train (Leidsche Rijn station). There is also sufficient parking space for both cars and bicycles. According to the website, parking is free for film visitors.

The building is very modern from the outside and inside and has lifts. You can buy snacks and drinks on the ground floor and upstairs (they have recently had popcorn!) The cinemas are sloping well, so you don't have to watch the entire film at the back of your head. Room one is the best in quality, with laser projectors and Dolby Atmos. It is a pity that you do not get 3D glasses, but always have to buy / take them.

The breaks are a bigger disadvantage. Some people like this, but once I'm in my movie, there's nothing more annoying than an interruption.

Please note: in the summer months the rooftop room opens, where you can enjoy your movie in the open air! Very nice as a romantic night out under the starry sky.

-English translation below-

The location is easy to reach. They have a bus connection, a train station nearby (Leidsche Rijn station) and plenty of parking space for cars and bikes alike. According to their website parking is free of charge for film visitors!

The building itself is a modern style and has full elevator access. They sell snacks and drinks on the bottom and top floors (and have recently added popcorn to their menu!). The cinema rooms are large and have a good slope, so you won't be staring at backs or heads instead of the movie screen! Try getting a movie in room 1, as it has the best image projectors and sound systems in the cinema. Note that you have your own 3D glasses or buy them, they don't lend them out to you.

A bigger letdown is the break during the movie. Some people don't mind, but for me there's nothing more annoying than getting immersed in a movie, just to have it cut off by a mandatory break.

An added bonus however, during the summer time they use the roof for movies too! Especially good for a romantic night under the stars with your loved one.

Okay place. Chairs are not too narrow but always a problem where to put your arms. The place was not too dirty, but for something so new definitely not clean. As always buying food here costs a arm and a leg. Sound was pretty good. It was a bit warm though. The parking place is not very nice and quite muddy, it was also annoying to leave the place as the roads go up and down and where disorienting. Not a cheap place. For the same money I'd rather drive to Houten and go to cinelounge.

Great cinema with big screens, very modern building. Great seats and, screens, good sound. Atmosphere in the cafe is a bit cold though. They should make it a real cafe with food and sandwiches.

Large roof terrace with views over Leidsche Rijn and Utrecht. In the summer, movies are also played on the roof, provided that the weather is good. Furthermore, "the stargazer" has nice staff and seven rooms, of which 660 fit in the largest (room 1). Unfortunately no popcorn due to reason for different use of the location as a cinema (eg business events and parties).

Nice new cinema and very large. Dakbios is very nice but if it is a bit cooler you have to dress well. With us they could not find the blankets. So it was cold. (We went in the evening) but the staff did their best to arrange something.
