Cinema Saver Review

We go here often. Great value. If you need a comfy reclining seat, true to movie sound, or just released movies, this place is a no go for you. But as far as affordable and value, this place is great (when an upstairs tenant doesn't set off a fire alarm while cooking, that causes an evacuation of the theater - ha ha; but they gave us vouchers for a free movie for that, when it was no fault of the theater)!

Worth it to wait a little while to see a movie. Everything way more affordable than the big box office places. Staff always are friendly and patient. Plenty of birthday parties spent there and the kids always love it.

Fantastic and affordable! Two children one adult. Pop corn soda and movie for 17 bucks! Plus free refills on soda!Very pleasant and efficient staff who make every effort to help you! One day they played a movie just for us! Clean comfortable offerings films for everyone! Please support their efforts. You won't be disappointed.

Movie, lrg popcorn and soda with free refills, $8. Seats and screen are retro, but completely fine. Excellent quality time.

Prices are the best! Best place to get away for the world for a few hours because there is little to no service in the theatres.

With great prices and friendly staff, if you don't mind waiting a month or so after a movie is released this is the place to go!

Love this theater! Go here often. Catch movies discounted before they go to video a few months after they hit the big theaters. Their snacks are also discounted and it is well worth a few bucks to get out and see a movie !!

Great place, clean, plenty of options for different shows and you cannot beat the prices. It was so cool to find out that the owners do school field trip events for kids that include popcorn and drinks. Friendly staff willing to give back to the community.... We need more people like this in the world. I ha a blast, my gran daughter did too. Looking forward to taking my husband out for a date to the movies.

Best deal in the area. Can't beat the prices for movies or concessions. Absolutely my favorite theater in the area. Popcorn is almost always fresh and free refills on drinks regardless of size.

A movie, popcorn, and drink for $9? Where else can one get a deal like that? The screens are a little smaller and one might hear the movie playing in one of the other theaters at some point, but Cinema Saver is a great bargain.

We were here for a birthday party. It had a nice set up and staff was friendly and attentive.

Wonderful place for kids birthdays. Every party we've been to here, the kids have had a blast. Very friendly hosts, and the theaters are decent for a second-run type of cinema.

Just love this movie theater..it is great to be able to take the kids to the movies and not have to mortgage the house to do it and the people who are there are so nice and kind. Food prices soooo reasonable too!!!

I've been to other dollar theaters, and this wasn't quite as nice as others. The stag was very friendly and helpful, but the quality of the actual theater was pretty poor. The screen was small (almost like a large home theater screen) and the room was really bare. Overall, it was all right for a second run theater. It was just not as nice as others I've been to, so not really what I expected.

Love going here yeah it's small but prices are good and it's never really Busy so you don't have people talking or getting up through the whole movie

Not the Newest and Nicest but by far the best deal especially if you are taking the whole family. Prices are great and staff is friendly.

The lady told me you're downstairs in theater 1 and I went downstairs and there was no theater 1 and she made me late for the movie and I went upstairs and I said to her hey you told me that theatre one was downstairs and she said no it's theater five so I was late for the movie. But at least this time the floors were not sticky with soda like it usually is.

Nothing fancy here, just a very reasonably priced old school movie theater.

The quality was great, and the workers were nice. The floor was a little dirty, but it was overall a great experience. They had a variety of movie choices as well.

This movie theater is fantastic. Great value for a family outing. I brought my family quite often as the kids (5) grew up and we still enjoy a movie with pop corn and a drink for a reasonable price.

Super cheap and friendly staff. Still, you get what you pay for; their speakers didn't handle heavy bass, and their projectors could be better.

My favorite place to go for a movie. Tickets are cheap, and so are snacks. Seats are old style and theaters and screens not so large, but I don't mind that.

Took 4 teens and my 9 year old to the movies, everyone had popcorn and soda for under $40.... Love it!

I can take all 3 kids and myself, and buy sodas and popcorn for all of us, for the price it'd cost for just one ticket at the other theaters. It's clean, people are friendly, and it's a great place for birthdays as well!

Amazing price for movies. Cute theater. Screen and sound quality are on par with other theaters. We had a great experience where our first time here they werent sure that the movie was going to play because they were having technical difficulties so they gave us free tickets for the movie. Talk about outstanding customer service! You guys have earned us as long term customers for sure! Anyone reading this review should not hesitate to give this place a try! You won't regret it!

Best cinema in Broome County. Not as big and flashy as the others, but a great value. Staff is friendly, popcorn is fresh and exceptional prices. This is our go to cinema. Never have any regrets. Outstanding!

Good movies with prices that are actually affordable! While the theaters lack some of the accoutrements of the big-name theaters, management does a good job of providing a decent viewing experience while not charging exorbitant prices for admission and snacks. It is often well worth waiting for movies to finish their first runs to catch them in second runs at this theater.

Love that I can watch a newer movie for half the price. Great for taking the family out on a low budget!

The seats are not positioned in the most pleasing way for viewing purposes but that can be worked around. It's a very fun place to go to if you want to watch movies for a cheaper price. You might have to wait a bit longer after a movies release date to see it, but if you're interested in taking the family out to watch a movie, and you're tight on money and want some popcorn without having to spend $20 for a bucket, then Cinema Saver is the place to go!

Just can't beat these prices! Tickets, popcorn and drinks for 2 at a matinee' is almost cheaper than the price of one ticket at the mall!!!! The popcorn is really fresh and the refills on drinks are free!!!

I loved this place, used to go all the time. It really has that old movie house charm I remember as a child. The people are always pleasant, and the popcorn fresh.

So sorry Tyrant Cuomo is squashing the liberty of these owners by unconstitutionally forcing this place to be closed. We miss this great place!

You can't beat the prices of a movie here at Cinema Saver.
Their consessions are pretty cheap as well.
2 people to see a matinae, med popcorn, bottle water, med soda & nachos chips and it ONLY came out to $17 something.
I'll be back to this place more often.
