Called phone number (option 3) looking for resources. The woman on the phone had very poor customer service skills and sounded annoyed and impatient. I was very kind to her. Don't work in the field of social services if you have no desire to help people. Very discouraging experience.

I come here to get my taxes done every year. They do great things for the community. Reason I gave it one star is because I spoke to Doris she is very rude and has a nasty ass attitude over the phone. I simply asked her about what time they was going to be filing taxes. If you don't like your job then quit.

Can never reach this agency by phone. The answering machine mailbox is always full so...How do they expect anyone to contact them?
It seems to me that in this age of 24/7 business and computers they should be able to set up a system that works for their clients instead of the constant inefficiency unless, of course, they do not really want to help their clients. Terrible agency.

Been calling this place for years.. you can t speak to someone or get anyone on the phone. How do they receive cash grants and payments to help people in need and you can t even get threw to someone to speak with regarding help with rent and utilities.. some needs to investigate in this place.. they don t help as they should .. what are you all
Doing to help the people in need. And it s not like COVID 19 is the reason for this.. COMMUNITY ACTION AGENCY NEVER ANSWERS THE PHONE.. you can t even leave a voicemail like other business to be contacted within 2-3 business days.. like come on?? Why is this.. who s running this place??

Absolutely pointless! Over several months I've contacted this agency 5x in total for assistance only to be given continual run-around after being instructed to submit information for approval with no follow up, then when I call back everyone is clueless while other times put on hold and sent to voicemail boxes with no callback. What's the point???

You can't get a human on the phone here. "Walk-in" appointments have to be scheduled through an automated phone system only available Monday through Thursday... and oh, what a shock, invariably they're all taken for the day you call. Not even a laugh, this is just depressing.
