Everything was great. We rented the venue for an event and the staff and management are very accommodating.
I liked it very well to rest and its field was very beautiful
Everybody was very courteous golf courses in excellent shape
Pros: greens are in good shape. Pace was good.
Good GPS on the carts. The course is open no trees, good mountain views would be nice later in the day or early. Price was good.
CONS:
No service. Absolutely lax attitudes from everyone except the ranger who was nice. Clubhouse staff aloof. No carts when I arrived had to walk to range and back. Paid for large bucket of range balls, got a small. They WOULD NOT REFUND me! Only a credit. Pro shop attendant should be disciplined, he is very lazy and unprofessional.
never played but usually one of the better maintained courses. everyones always having a good time here. really beautiful.
unfortunately, a recent storm destroyed the course. flooding took out a 200-400ft strip right out of the middle of the greens. kinda awesome to see that kind of extreme damage without any loss of human life but probably not great for business =/
Great day for a group to play golf. Course was in very good shape for what happened last year! Staff is great!
Great desert golf. The course was in amazing shape. What a challenge
Great course very user friendly. The greens were slow but looked healthy and thick. I honestly think it is just cause they are breaking them in from over seeding, good value in my opinion would play it again.
VERY NICE COURSE! If you haven't played it yet, it's a "must". You'll love it!
Very nice course even though it was under repairs. Still had a great time. Very good staff as well. I will definitely come back.
Fun course. Gets hot in the summertime with little or no trees.
Played on a Saturday. Nice course with no shade or trees to speak of. Course is 3.5 and service was 2 at best. Still off-season so no restraunt or beverage cart or snack bar available. Had hot dog and chips from the front desk of the pro-shop. Was the only thing available to eat. Pro shop closed by 3p
Beautiful courses never played on it thou, I just ride my sk8board through the bike path
Pebble is super fun for short game, but you still have to bust out the woods for at least 4 holes. If its windy at least your not sweating
This is just a great place to stay and spend time with family. And if you like golf then this is the place for you.
Probably the worst golf course experience in the area. The layout is boring and repetitive. Each hole is dead straight and has one or two fairway bunkers that really have no impact on the drive itself.
I think there was maybe one person working in the pro shop and he was missing for 10 minutes upon arrival. There is no starter nor marshal on the course. When we finished our 2.5 hr front nine we ended up calling it as there were 4 groups on the 11th hole. Do yourself a favor and play anywhere else in the state of California and you will have a better time.
Beautiful place. My kids and I loved it. But the grass is the kind that will grab your ball and stop it so you can't get a good roll. Overall an awesome place.
The course is very well maintained and was beautiful when we played two weeks ago. There are specials online sometimes and it would be an wonderful deal with those specials. I will definitely come back here.
I'm only giving this club a "4" because they were so unorganized when our group of 32 senior ladies finished. Only one guy sort of directing. We had to unload and reload our bags into our cars. So unfortunate. The course was fantastic!
Course is in very good shape. Greens are fast but flat, very few trees
Everything was great. We rented the venue for an event and the staff and management are very accommodating.
Beautiful course. Well worth the price... go and have a good time.
The coolest par 3 course out here! I really love the staff here, we have played it twice in 2 days. Absolutely stunning desert golf and both rounds under 3 hours. The staff is the best part of this facility.
Wide open, great views, fast pace, we played in 3:45 .
Although not a Golf Resort with onsite accommodation, Cimarron, rated 3-1/2 stars, has everything else is in place to ensure you enjoy "another beautiful day" at this 36-hole desert layout in Palm Springs. Whether you are playing the championship Boulder course or the wonderfully sculpted, 18-hole par-3 Pebble course, you can expect to have all departments of your game thoroughly examined.
The 18 hole course is unbelievable. I like that when I played here for the first time I didn't slice to much and the balls that I used with the driver were magnificently aimed particularly straight if not all balls. The irons were all in synced and this course was a great onset to my game highly recommended
A pretty good layout and a nice place to have a good Round of golf.
been going there yearly for 6 years course always in good shape , the pebble is mostly par 3s the boulder is a standard 18 call about specials before you book tee time
Great track...will definitely play this one very soon.
Had an enjoyable experience at the golf resort. Golf course was in great shape, resort staff were friendly and accommodating and bar and restaurant were refreshing. Looking forward to our next visit. Thank You Cimarron Golf Resort.
This course is often maligned for it being virtually devoid of trees. But recognize that is a links styled course. Bandon Dunes and Whistling Straits are two courses of renown with similar characteristics. Trees are not the measure of a good golf course ... design, playability, value and conditioning are what should be considered. Cimarron has all of those.
And pre COVID, the dining, given a great menu and excellent food preparation, was a pre and/or post golf experience that completed the package.
Never stayed or played. But for a good lunch or dinner, the patio restaurant, the mountain view, and the service are great. Reasonable prices and variety menu makes it one of our favorites.
Course was in excellent condition today. Pace of play was great. Staff was great, even with Covid restrictions. Only downer was never having the beverage cart come by.
Course is fun to play and is in great shape. Very fair with terrific greens right now.
Covid protocols are a joke here - shared carts. No disclosure when booking. The staff makes you feel bad for expecting reasonable protocols and excuses the issue because they are busy. Additionally check out the tee boxes. I m glad I was playing with good friends.
I guess they re re-doing some of the course right now, only 9 holes are open to play. The 9 holes we played were in good condition and we got to play as much as we could.
Played the Par 3 course it was fun and had some challenge to it as well
Great desert golf course..however if its windy, it becomes a tough choice to stay and golf1
A place where people who are perfect for the corona era are bubbly.
Limited number of people is required.
I like the layout, though it's not well defined - the course isn't groomed to highlight the individual holes...it's a decent Muni track...
We had six guys in front of us - they were sent out as 4 & 2 but ended up in one large group. They let us play through but these kind of clowns are the ones that close down the opportunity to golf during the pandemic. The course needs to have someone out there... it's a Muni course but they need to manage their business...
This course is a hidden gem! Great links style golf! Very nicely maintained!
Great prices, friendly service and I shot my low score ever!
I really enjoy the staff in the golf shop and the workers that I come in contact with on the course. The course is challenging for me but higher rated players might think it's a little easier.
Getting ready to reseed so dry but cheap so great value $20 can't beat that .... Short par 3 holes great for your short game
Normally my wife and I play the par3 Pebble course. This year tried the full size Bouder course. Very nice course, specular course with views of the mountains and surrounding area. Our room was excellent wlth our own garage for 2 cars. Our had 2 rooms that could sleep 2 in each room and the living that had pull sleeper for 2.
This is an awesome golf course. Played "Pebble", a challenging Par 3, will definitely test your skills! Done in 2.5 hours time, the views are worth it alone. Patio deck is worthy of a 19th hole golf stop. Staff is SUPER friendly as well. Perfect way to spend an 80 degree Saturday!
Nice par three course with no tree hazards or lakes
Poor course was still recovering from storm! Bad shape ain't been back !
Course was in good condition, greens ran the same on all 18 holes. It's was a Saturday so it was a bit slow waiting on every hole approximately 4:50 round.
Played golf lady Sunday. Course was in pretty good shape. Weather was perfect. Had a beer after. The waitress told us it was last call. It was 3:20 in the afternoon. Guys were still playing.
Easy place to visit. Clean and attentive service close to everything plus quite safe and secure
Lunch was surprisingly delicious. Service was amazing. I'm looking forward to going back.
We love the Pebble Course. Challenging enough but only 2.5 hours to play. Always in excellent condition.
Bring your A game for Boulder course and sharpen your short game on the Pebble.
Decent course that is well maintained and offers a nice challenge. The only downside is club rentals were not consistent with what I'd expect in Palm Springs area.
Probably one of our favorite places in the Palm Springs area. Both golf courses are very well maintained, and their putting greens are so pure. Staying at the resort is an absolute treat. Great staff. Loved it.
Played last Sunday nice course good prices large greens will play again
Fantastic Golf Course. Beautiful backdrops. Perfect for Instagram.
The Pebbles course had just been reopened and was in Sterling condition. A great course to work on your short game. Looking forward to taking on the Boulder course next.
