I do not understand how this hospital can have such a good rating

For the cardiology unit, the smiling, polite, attentive staff, I spent 3 hours with my father for the evaluation as planned, the next day the appointment was scheduled for the operation 5 days later. Well done!

The nurses of the 6th floor in day medicine, are super nice, professional. Good people!

Pros: The nurses and doctors during the stenting and preparation are very kind and competent. The girls of acute care split in four to help and make us in a good mood.

Cons: Transferred from another hospital, when I arrived by ambulance, the girls were angry because I was not accompanied by a nurse (escort). They had been informed before our departure. After the paramedics have left, one of the girls comes to me, looking silly, calling me "sir no escort". And another adds a few minutes later. Amazing anyway! They are paid to blame the patient for problems that have nothing to do with him ..

Even so, I decided to take revenge on one of my clients. I had to open a new account because of him and print the file when I had more staples in my stapler. I called him angrily saying, "Hi sir, let's pin it!"

I went to the emergency department with intense shoulder pain, all from the triage nurse, the registration officer, the tech. in radiology and emergency medicine, all were kind, courteous and professional. And, fast and more, I stayed barely 2 hours. Congratulations on your excellent work!

A case of cancer referred but refused by the CHUS. I am told that it is the residents who decide which cases will be seen. He was supposed to be seen in less than 28 days but in the region he waited more than 4 months. I lodged a complaint, I was told that the patient can decide and that the employee would be notified. But surprise a call for me this time, I am scheduled in the operating room and I am told that it is the resident who decides !!!!! The regions would very much like to have services with the same delays as the people of Sherbrooke. Cancer that must be seen in 28 days and that waits at the risk of worsening its situation is unacceptable.
