The dispatch people are so rude to us. Everytime we have called to add to our report they act like we are in the wrong and they are just so rude. We are in a domestic violence and we have PTSD and they act like it's our fault we were abused. The police that call us back are super nice and helpful but like I said dispatch needs to do better and stop acting like they are better than everyone else because guess what they aren't.
Best police Department with very nice officers who care about their city. It is a community oriented policing Department.
Staff was very polite, professional, and courteous. I was able to accomplish the task at hand in a speedy and efficient manner. There is a small parking lot on site, with a 1-hr limit, which is ample time to take care of whatever business you may have.
They where very gente when they handcuffed me, and their parol vehicles are incredibly roomy. Overall, very profesional. Will get arrested by them again, for sure.
I came here from Indiana thought Chula vista would be a nice safe place to live. After my interaction with the Chula vista Police Department I find them to be very incompetent as far as public safety is concerned. I was at eucalyptus park walking my dog on a leash when a man with 5 dogs pulls up and let his dogs out of the car the 5 dogs tried to attack my dog. I called the police department to report it and they asked for all the information and told me they would call me back well it's been a hour and a half still no call back. I've decided not to live here because it is a lawless town. I can not depend on the police department for my safety.
Our daughter's car was stolen from the front of our house. We called it in to report it. Officer Deering responded and took ownership of the situation, explained the process, found the car in another city through his laptop system. Once we picked up the car, Officer Deering even followed up to ensure we were able to pick up the car with no issues. He embodies everything you would want in a police officer. Very greatful. Awesome job.
Dispatcher(I believe that was 02) is very unprofessional and plain rude! I was just asking if she could give me the incident #s since their cops were sent out to our place several times to harass us and were used as harassment tools. She was very unhelpful and she put me on hold forever!!! She failed as a public servant and hope these people will realize that our tax dollars are used to pay for them. I guess PROFFESIONALISM AND MANNERS are not part of their job- just sad reality :(

I just read Chula Vista Police Department has an Officer by the name Sergio Flores who enjoys arresting Firemen while their Saving Lives, this is OUTRAGIOUS !!!
