Good Mexican fare and fast service at this local mom and pop restaurant.

Delicious food in a very comforting atmosphere. Food was served hot and came quick, multitude of options with very friendly staff.

My preferred spot for tasty Mexican food. Certainly worth going back to. This place has a good feel to it.

It was very good food in a friendly neighborhood. The food was very good as well as the service. And the restaurant was veryclean andthe atmosphere provided an enjoyable dining experience.

Found this place by accident and I'm really glad I did. Ordered a Carne asada burrito and there was not one drop of Grease in it or on the plate when i was done. Was so good. I will be back many many times.

I had the smothered burrito with shredded beef and my husband had the chicken enchiladas. Both of us were highly satisfied and will be making this one of our go-to Mexican restaurants.

One of the best cheese fries you can get. Wife says they have the best burgers too . Kids love the Mac and cheese and their shakes are great! The staff is super friendly, the place is clean, and even when they are busy the line moves fast.

The food was salty and the shrimp broth tasted like pure water with Clamato

Delicious authentic Mexican food on piping hot plates served in a charming space with great decor. I had the Small Combination substituted the cheese enchilada for a shredded beef one and smothered the burrito. The red and green sauces are delicious with just the right amount of heat/spice. If you get this and want your taco crispy, ask for the taco on the side for my shell had become saturated with the delicious sauce and fell apart.

Really good food. The homemade tortillas were delicious. I ordered the chili colorado and wish that there was more meat than sauce but the flavor was good. I also tried the menudo and it was delicious. My husband ordered the chimichanga and while it was godo, there wasn't a lot inside and it was rather small. But everything tasted great! Glad we found it.

Great solid Mexican go-to. Smelled a bit funky in there, but other than that it was fine.

The food was good, but not really authentic Mexican, as an Arizonan, I would know. The prices were decent and the staff friendly and attentive. The parking is along the street mostly although there is a small parking lot.

Great place to eat but a senior menu would be nice since their servings are so large

Carne Asada plate is horrendous. The steak has no flavor at all-Worst Carne asada I've ever had. The Carne Asada quesadillas, the steak is horrible too. Going back to Alberto's for my steaks-

My family has been eating at Chubby's since 1989,. I almost always get the Tamale Special smothered with rice an beans and am rarely disappointed. It is a friendly place when we walk in we first look around to see who we know there. The Chile Relleno is hit or miss, sometimes super greasy and other times super delicious. The salsa has changed over the years to where it tastes like straight red chilis with tomato sauce. The chile verde enchilada is also good. My husband always gets the two enchiladas rice and bean, ground beef and my son always gets cheese enchiladas. Sister in law always gets the chimichanga. Prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly. We love it there.

We like to go here with family. Great food, great service, good dessert. I love their mexi fries cut like potato chips and chips and salsa.

This is the best Mexican food that I have had since living in San Diego. I would go out of my way, driving many many miles, in order to get food here if it was closer than San Diego. Everything is spot on, including the very friendly but impatient order taker. To be fair, if you don't know what you want when she asks, whatever you pick will be good.

Salsa could be better but the nacho supreme is awesome! This is a great place and the price is right! It gets busy for lunch! Highly recommend. Tacos with shredded beef are amazing too.

Food is just EXCELLENT. Better than expectations. Had take out. It was so good I had a dream about it the night afterwards.

No where close to good food. It's eatible food, but the chicken tasted like it came from a can. Service was fine.

I enjoy lots of Mexican. The service was pleasant and decor was vibrant. I had a chimichanga which is my standard to assess and everything was just ok. Nothing exceptional so it gets average rating.

I have been coming to chubbys for a long time and it is always good to be able to stop in and eat and it always be great.

It's a great little mexican restaurant. I love their chips and salsa. I know this my be weird but I love their cheeseburgers and fries. I'm a cheeseburger person and I'd say this is within my top 3. Check em out!

That was my first visit to this place. I loved my shrimp soup.

I wasted my money this past weekend. $50 to be exact. The waitress told me the owner left a half hour early that night right before closing at 9pm. The new cooks were terrible. The plating and the food were nothing close to how the owner prepares the food. I was not satisfied and I feel cheated.

Chubby's is our go-to for mexican food! Best of SLC! They are a hidden gem. Their chile verde enchiladas & the Chubbychanga are amazing. Beans & rice are always spot on. Do yourself a favor & check them out. You won't regret it. Support local!

Great Mexican food at reasonable prices. The staff was very friendly and service was good, but they have strict limits on things like drink refills and complementary chips (the bowl was tiny, and meant to be shared by 2 people). Overall a good experience.

Ice cream was expired. Killed my rootbeer float. Looked at me crazy when i asked them to remake because it didnt taste right. second one just as bad . rootbeer was fine it was the nasty ice cream.
