No emergencies! I had a crushed finger, with an open wound that did not heal. I asked them to see the emergency department and the doctor refused to direct me there. My finger was starting to necrose, I was operated on the same evening in an emergency with a skin graft at Urgence Main in Aubergenville!

Interminable waiting, staff that is only interested in the emergency case if they are three or four to manage all arrivals we all saying the same sentence: you will wait more than 4 hours to pass, the doctors are all busy.
This is a shame because no one will go to the emergency for just past the evening, if we go because we are worried about the health of our children. Instead of making families wait for hours, at least one doctor who does a quick analysis and if he judges the health condition of the child does not require an emergency consultation, he announces to the family concerned that if they choose wait they will pass after all cases more urgent. I do not think he would have families who will wait after knowing that their child can wait until the next day to see their doctor.

Always difficult to note this kind of place. But I spent a week attending the ICU and the staff is amazing. And in such moments, that's all that matters, except for the quality of the care provided of course

My doctor sent me to the hospital urgently. I waited for hours on an uncomfortable chair, half falling asleep and ended up sleeping on the floor.

I arrived on 5/12/2017 by ambulance from the Lillebonne hospital to the orthopedic emergencies of the Rouen teaching hospital, the reception of all the staff (room attendant, paramedics, nurses, interns, doctors) were perfect, people pleasant, attentive, and efficiently managing my problem.

The 21/02/2017 in pediatric emergencies for my son of 1 month and 1/2:
Under the pretext that there was no ENT doctor (secretions in his ear), he did not take my baby. They did not even think it necessary to carry out conventional examinations (temperature, etc ...) and we went back home and said that there was no urgency ... while I sent them a letter from the attending physician asking for his care in emergencies !!!! Only proposal from them => call the next morning to make an appointment in the day ...
My doctor did not hide me being very surprised at this.
As far as I'm concerned, I find that inadmissible knowing that we are talking about a baby of 1 month and 1/2

What to do? ... we went to the CH Feugrais Elbeuf, and there, although there was no ENT, he was still caught.

Opinion on pediatric emergencies: nothing catastrophic in itself, it is a sum of imprecise and unsuitable actions that make me put 2/5. First of all at the reception, besides the fact that 4 nurses were chatting cheerfully between each other, there was a disagreement between the two admissions offices, I saw the secretary bringing the file of my son to be rejected by the person who was doing this, this lack of communication and listening to his colleague led to the loss of my son's labels that I had to redo in the second box 10 minutes later. For the rest, a first nurse oscillated immediately, which is the positive point of the case. Then we waited in a huge waiting room, with tables and chairs for children but not much to put on the said tables (no book for any small, no or very few games), a large empty aquarium what a shame ... this is only the waiting room after all but it's a shame. That said, we did not wait long before we could tell our story a third time to an intern who reosculated the little one. We then waited for a doctor who did the same things. The treatment rooms are tiny, and the equipment is old. The doctor did not know how to deal with the little ones, nothing serious but when you say to a child of 2 years "is the stomach that you have pain?" to make us happy he will say yes ... in fact he had a sore throat, she wanted to make a sample deep throat but the internal reminded him that it was not done in the under 3 years (thanks the intern). Nothing serious, but I went home with a child who refuses to eat and drink for 2 days, without solution, I was advised to give him fresh and liquid food, yes that's what I try but in this case it does not take them ... Nothing serious in itself in the behavior of the staff, not unpleasant with the patients and their parents, but no solution provided, and diagnostic uncertain, therefore useless to move to the emergency room.

Brain MRI with injection + ENT SCANNER performed in very well maintained premises at Rouen University Hospital (Charles NICOLLE) by very welcoming, understanding and competent staff.
The personal and confidential document given to the patient makes it possible to be quickly informed of the report by the attending physician who has access to the patient's imaging file, which avoids the worry and the stress often generated during the time that the surgeon summons for explanations as well as the procedure to be planned and what follows (chemo or radiotherapy)
Clinics in the ROUEN region are not doing so well !!
