Lovely night good meals and super service reccomend

Really delicious food in the restaurant and also a very hearty little casino. But has everything you need to get into a gamble mood. Was 2x there was funny.

All I can say is WOW! I have never been treated so rudely at a casino in my life. Immediately upon entering the doors, two female staff members approached my partner and I with a barrage of intrusive questions including:

- "How much have you drank tonight?"
- "What were you doing before coming here?"
- "Where are you staying?"

This is simply ridiculous. In less than a minute, they insisted that we were overly intoxicated and told us to leave (which we were not). Funny thing is, neither of us even planned on drinking at the casino to begin with. We planned on getting a bite to eat and playing some roulette. So much for going to the casino during my one night stay in Christchurch.

Atmosphere quite gloomy, feels like you cant move, maybe its since lockdown. Just very different, too quiet, not much winning going on around us either. didnt enjoy it, probably wont be back till next year or maybe not.

Cafe grand has an exceptional buffet reasonably priced. Highly recommend and the service is excellent.

Good casino apart from 3am closing times where they practically walk you out in a herd with their arms out.

As long as you don't go thinking you are going to make your fortune, it is a fun place to spend some time 3 restaurants there ok food the sports bar food bit expensive for what it is.

I guess I knew what I was in for with a buffet but pretty average all round.

I went to the grand cafe for a buffet dinner. Lots of different options. Prompt waitresses. and i ate for free because it was my birthday month and im part of the players club. My friend joined up and got a $10 credit + 10% off food and drinks. Great night.

Had lunch at the Grand Cafe - food was bad and over priced, service was slow even though the place was nearly empty. Won't be back

Visited as a couple during Covid-19 Alert Level 2. Responsible sign-in procedure. Non member sign-in /government scan option, too. Sanitising available everywhere. Drinks service and payment to your machine or table. Every second machine unavailable for social distancing. On the payout ratio, my experience was a questionable percentage return to the player on poker machines.

Note to Casino management... get rid of the BNZ ATMs. They disallow a second withdrawal no matter how much it is, what account it is and regardless of what your personal account daily spend limit is. Very frustrating!

Definately don't have that many games as compare to Auckland Sky City casino because they don't have that much crowd. Personally I don't gamble so I don't have much idea about games. But if you want to freshen up your mood then it's a good place to try.

Wonderful food/desert. Attentive & friendly staff with a charming matre'd....

Great fun, tasty deep fried squid, local wine and friendly dealer lady at big wheel. Enjoyed alot.

Went there for some cocktails but was disappointed that they tasted more like mocktails. The staff were really nice though :D

First time back for 3years the slots no longer take coins, bit disappointed

Had a lovely day today with my husband and two friends, we all had the roast and really enjoyed it. Came home with some winnings, so all in all a great day

Lots of good things, but I just don't like casinos.

Machines seen to pay less and staff cuts mean fewer people around to solve machine payout problems and toilets often leave a lot to be desired. So long as the hierarchy get good bonuses etc is all that matters!

I won some money at the slot machine , also 2 hr free parking across the casino is great.

I had a meal at the sports bar, burger and chips. Decent meal and not overly priced staff are polite and helpful as for the casino side i didn't go in.

5 stars if you bring back a more stringent dress code. Sneakers, caps, puffer jackets and sports clothing have NO place here. This is supposed to be a reputable place to gamble, drink and eat. Better than a common pub. You've lowered the standard and it's disappointing.

Best casino in NZ. Don't drink too much before you come as you will be refused entry. All the live sport and great food

Nice venue with helpful staff. Its a great place to go for night out. Start with dinner either in the restraunt or up at the monza sports bar. Then make your way down to tables where the staff are extremely helpful even if you had little to no knowledge of how to gamble at a casino. I thoroughly enjoyed my night and left with knowledge of how to approach and get myself on the tables.
