The other company in Toronto that actually makes chocolate; that is, they import the beans, roast them, and make wonderful delectable chocolate. They're intensely environmentally and socially conscious, from buying directly from growers in Mexico - who care for the jungle groves where the cacao grows - to composting all organic waste in house and using pedal power for transportation and selling through farmers' markets.

My wife and I had a chance to meet Michael of ChocoSol on the weekend at the Guelph Farmers' Market and LOOOOOVVVVVVED the chocolate! Michael is extremely passionate about this art of making/grinding raw chocolate into mouthwatering delicacies. Amazing, Michael! Thanks!

I went for a workshop. The staff is so knowledgable with chocolate, origin of cocoa bean, bean to bar process. They shared their business concept and I am most inspired by their idea of sustainability/ fair trade. They also worked on corns and other local ingredients. In terms of chocolate, I love their Jaguar line. We get to try their chocolate drinks and a lot of chocolate bars. So much energy and passion.

Out of all the organic, natural REAL cacao based chocolate that is coming up these days, chocosol is and has been my favorite since 2013. It's a superior taste and quality from all the others.

***This is a review for the chocolate, the owner, and the location at the St Lawrence Market on Saturdays***

First off, this is the best chocolate hands down. You will be inspired by the samples, the knowledge, and the efforts that are made into each bar.

Secondly, you must come to the market to try some because he is awesome with the samples. Also his knowledge is out of this world. If you would want to learn more about the process that he does versus others, explain why he made it into this shape and taste, and I can only say that his Jaguar Chocolate is fantastic.

This stand is located in the St Lawrence Market at the white tent outside the brick building on the south side.

If your wondering what time to go, anywhere from 8AM - 2PM is great!

Enjoy!!
