Great happy hour, delicious food, ridiculous beverages (dry ice will always amuse me). Is it kind of pricey?? Yeah! But I think the environment and the food and drink quality is worth it. Always nice staff, too!!

The food here is always amazing!! I love stopping here and grabbing a bite before I go out to the club..the chicken wings are FIRE. I love the cream cheese wontons, they have so much extra cheese in them, and they are made with ginger! They taste like little deep fried cheesecakes!!
The bartenders are knowledgeable, and the chefs are pretty awesome too...I see them come out and greet people occasionally...this place can be a little pricey, but I really feel it's worth every drop. If you have a little extra cash, and really want to get a great taste of the Uptown life, check this place out! You shouldn't be disappointed

I Don't know...lol. The food was ok, but have had better. I loved the look of it, the idea....but I guess too loud for my taste, too expensive for amount of food, and I guess it just didn't wow me. Staff were friendly.

Delicious food and fancy drinks! When you have 5-6 people to split everything the food really isn't badly priced. We had a main meal item and about 4 appetizer sized items, everyone had a drink ($10-14 each) and our bill was only like $32 per person with 5 people. Just make a reservation and go, you won't regret it!

Happy hour here is pretty good, and this place does a nice job at infusing a mixture of both Asian and Hispanic cuisine....all of that with the atmosphere, and location are prime for a good night out!

Make sure that if you make a reservation that the majority of your party is on time or your going to have problems with seating...

Our server patrick was SO accommodating and patient. We had a large, needy party. Half of us haven't been there before and he explained all the food, made sure our orders were correct, and we always had ice (which to my family is a big deal haha). I almost left without my leftovers and he ran out to give it to me!! Cant recommend this place enough. Thank you Patrick!!!

The vibe is pretty neat and most of Parasole's restaurants are top shelf. However, although the vibe here is pretty neat for a date night, I'd highly not recommend bringing a group (or kids). They are definitely NOT in a rush with the food, it comes out very spotty and it's not what it used to be. The food is also "heavier" and spicier than it used to be. I'd check out somewhere else for a group. For date night, a cocktail and some food to share, a cool vibe.

Went in with high expectations and left disappointed.
Very underwhelming aesthetic with sparse decor.
Food was all right but was overpowered by way too much spice and is way overpriced for what you get.
The cocktail list is short and are lacking in flavour.

Great service and great variety in food! So fun for groups or date nights! Great for birthday dinners. It is very noisy though so if that's not what you are looking for that night I would try a quieter place.

Chino Latino, as readers, must know, bills itself ...

Chino Latino, as readers, must know, bills itself as a fusion of Asian and Latin American cuisine. In my opinion, Chino Latino has basically two separate menus. One's Asian, one's Latin American. They may share a handful of ingredients, but the fusion of the two cuisines wasn't well thought out. The execution for each cuisine was well thought out and the quality is generally good, but this wasn't quite what I was looking for in a fusion cuisine.

Getting to particulars, the margarita was (much) too salty. The sushi selection had too much going on - just too many conflicting tastes that you can't get the full experience of each ingredient (e.g. spicy tuna plus avocado plus a generous portion of soy sauce).

All in all, a decent try, but doesn't quite cut it in my opinion. I don't want to go to a place billing itself as a fusion cuisine, and to have to stick to either the Latino or Asian sides of the menu.

Absolute favorite place to hit in uptown from the specialty drinks, happy hour apps and of course delicious fusion foods. If its your birthday make sure to call ahead and let them know for your reservations and they'll personalize the menus to say happy birthday to the guest of honor!

I love Chino. This is my late night Happy Hour choice. Great tapas food selections. You can go mexi, sushi, or a few other directions. Big shout out to the queso and the cold noodles! Usually great service and a decent price for Uptown.

Great ambience and vibrant! I was here on a Friday evening and it was packed. They do accept reservations online which is good. The drinks were really good. We had the classic Chino Mojito and the Fake Orgazmo. The appetizers were decent. We went with the sushi and it was OK not that great. I would recommend this place for going out with friends. Parking is limited to either street or a parking ramp close by. The street parking is around 2$/hr depending on the time you go. They also have valet and I believe it's around 7$. The restaurant is located in Calhoun Square, so you could walk around in this nice area. There is a lot of young crowd here.

I LOVE this place. There is a very cool, young vibe with the chic setup and lighting. They have all sorts of delicious fusion foods and unique drinks. The best drink I got is served in a full pineapple and it's very fruity and delicious! It can be sort of confusing to know what door is the entrance as there are a lot all together with no markings but there are usually workers outside that do valet I think that helped us. It's in a fun area and has large windows so you can see what's going on outside and people watch, which I like.

Wasn't all that. Orange chicken was no different than Panda Express. And we all received our food at different times. Meaning one was done eating before the other got theirs. Weird. Over priced. Not all that.

This is not a good place for a first date, or a date at all where the goal is to have a lovely conversation, because it is so loud in there. The food though is something to talk about, that's for sure. Such a wide variety, that when I asked the waitress what were her favorites, I hadn't even noticed them on the menu until she pointed them out. The drinks were delicious. All staff that I came in contact with were very pleasant. The ambiance is a little loud, but the restaurant is hip and an overall wonderful experience.

This place is a MUST go! The menu is a blend of Asian and Latin food <hence the name>, one be aware that the plates are massive and the menu is always changing, so instead of recommending a dish, ask the waiter and he will point out what to take. I had the bao bun w pork, super good!

Great happy hour & drinks! .. Order the pineapple drink ! So good ! Can't remember the Spanish name for it but its only like $12 bucks . Be aware it can get very crowded in there so head out early to get a table. And expect to spend alot on food. plates are pricey but have good portion sizes to take home for left overs.

Worst experience here. Reserved a table for two.. my friend and I order two meals and an app, my meal came before the app, we canceled the app. Finished my meal and my friends meal still had not came. The manager and server apologized offering up not even as much as an excuse. Not good enough. We will not be back.

Went back again after my first time several years ago while I was in town. The food is fantastic and provides so many mouth watering options. Large space upstairs and downstairs. Service was fantastic as she was able to ask me a few questions and help me narrow down a choice. Highly recommend.

Very trendy place with fun cocktails (which have some cheeky names!). The entrance is hard to notice, as my friends and I walked right past it the first time! The food was decent, but not spectacular; I really appreciate how friendly and accommodating the staff were, though. It would be a pretty good place to go with friends for happy hour and shareable dishes, though it is on the spendy side.

While the food and drinks were great, the service was slow. Slow enough where you order your next drink 1/2 drink ahead of time. That being said, our server Steve, handled our table very well. It was a busy Saturday night which is no reason to rate any fewer stars. I Would recommend and likely will be back.

This is a nice place to celebrate occasions and with bigger groups. It s got a fun and classy vibe to the place. It s huge restaurant. The bar is amazing because of the bartenders. I had a bartender craft delicious and beautiful drinks for my friend and I and he was very attentive. Service was spot on. We had a good time there.

As for eating there, the food sometimes can take a while to come out as there are a lot of customers. The food is delicious too. My favorite is the clam soup with naan bread.

Fave item: pork belly steam buns w extra hoisin & mayo on the side for dipping. Never fails to amaze. Many other very creative and delicious items on the menu. They also make birthday celebrations the best. Servers are always knowledgeable and friendly. Best random music selection ever last night, too. Favorite songs from growing up.

Had not been there in years and booked it for something different. Did expect the big doors to be open, but they were not. So, they only get 4 stars as the place was so darn noisy. There was a party of women just yelling it up and we could not hear ourselves think. I had the curry shrimp and it was to die for. My husband did not love his fried chicken as it was not what he was expecting. But I think that was mostly due to us not asking about it.

I've been going here weekly for 4 years. During their restaurant week prix fixe promotion, they wanted to charge us $10 extra because we wanted to split it. No extra food, no extra cost to them, just price gouging. Absolutely disrespectful.

The food is delicious and the menus creative, but it's also all overpriced, and the service varies from average to really REALLY slow (last time I was there it took me two hours to order and pay for just one drink, no food). Don't go during any sort of rush time.

Food was good. Not amazing. The melted cheese appetizer was awesome. Drinks were pretty great. Service was super friendly but ridiculously slow. For example we ordered two beers and it took at least fifteen minutes. They also failed to remove dirty plates from the table. Just not what I'd expect from a highly recommended place unfortunately.

This place was really fun! The menu was eclectic and delicious! Will go back again when I can.. Note: it is rather dark inside, so if reading a menu in the dark is a challenge (as it for me), ask your nice server for an extra table lamp.

Great service
Interesting food, excellent presentation, taste is a modern take on ethnic cuisines
Serving size is huge esp entrees
Had the fried icecream, have had better ones.
Lively, almost noisy, definitely not a place for a conversation over dinner; good fun place.

Very very yummy restaurant. I was here last Wednesday celebrating my mom's birthday. The staff is very great especially our waiter. I don't remember his name, he was bald with a beard. He was very helpful going over the menu and giving us some recommendations to order. We ordered pad thai, sushi, Brazilian empanadas and the Cuban pork crisis which was my favorite thing we ordered. The music here made me want to get up on my table and start twerking and badly strip dance.

Where do I start!? I celebrated my bday with group of 20 people and every single of them were extremely happy about the food, drinks, ambiance and finally lady who helped us throughout the evening. She accommodated us in the best possible way and was extremely friendly so were people at front. They made a manu saying my Name and that was a highlight of the evening. Thank you thank you thank you for making my bday very special.

A long time member of the Uptown restaurant scene,...

A long time member of the Uptown restaurant scene, Chino Latino has awesome food and atmosphere to make a special night out even better. The menu features a neat fusion between Latin and Asian cuisine, and fused in a way that brings out the best of the pairings. In addition to some really unique items, like Senegalese curry (pictured) and a wide variety of sushi (also pictured), the appetizer, drink and dessert menus have received equal attention to make this place one of my favorite places to go. A few pointers for those planning a first visit. (1) Have a reservation if you plan on going on a Friday or Saturday night. This place gets busy quick and the bar will fill up even faster. (2) Menu items are sized for sharing with the table, so be careful not to order a ton of things. You'll end up with a great doggy bag, but a pretty high bill as well. (3) If there's one knock on the place, it's the loudness of the dining area once it gets full. An intimate conversation will be challenging when you can't hear your partner that well. Then again, if you want to be loud with friends, this is a place to go.
