If you want to waste your time and energy, by all means, call Childress. I called 8 times over 3 months to get some engineering help with an attic finish-out. Brian Torti led me to believe Childress had schematics of my house which would greatly facilitate the process and he promised he would help me with it, but he never followed thru. I'll have to go with another company.

The engineer came to evaluate my property's foundation provided false information in his report. It took them 4 weeks since he visited till the report showed up.

Same experience. Left both a VM and an inquiry via their form online and no response.

I hired Childress to do an inspection on a house that I'd built. They came out and did an inspection and advised me to take a picture of repairs in 2 areas and send it to them so that they would pass it. They ended up charging me 2 inspections even though they told me that they wouldn't. Will never use them again. Very dishonest!

Long delays in waiting for reports to be written. Slow to respond to emails and calls not returned. If you need something done in a timely manner, look elsewhere.

I contracted with Childress to complete foundation designs for our upcoming home expansion. They were very courteous, responsive and produced a quality design at a fair price. I am looking forward to continuing this working relationship once we begin construction in the Spring of 2019! I am excited to have CES on our engineering team.
