If you have children under the age of about 12, this is a great place to spend a morning or an afternoon. It has been a couple of years since we have been here and I realized that my son has out grown some of the exhibits, but many still held his interest. Most of the attractions here are fun for children and many are fun for adults too, but I cannot communicate how much fun it is to climb around in their Adventure Forest. They should make a bigger one someplace for adults to play in, or for me to move into. As an added bonus, it should be mentioned that they sell healthy food for both kids and adults at their snack bar. I don't think you can get a hot dog or a hamburger in the place.

We used the Children s Museum to host my mother s memorial she was a child at heart for sure! Ryan Ting went beyond my expectations as an event coordinator. He was sensitive to the grief my family was experiencing and made sure that we were satisfied with every detail. His ideas for space usage allowed us to safely hold the event for over 140 people. It was a wonderful celebration, something my mother would have loved!

I chose the Museum's Skyline Gallery in the fall of 2019 for my son's rehearsal dinner .I was looking for a venue to seat as many as 100 guests and additional 35 for a later welcome party portion. It turned out to be the perfect choice. I loved the unique setting, the flexibility of the space and the responsive communication from Ryan Ting from day one. Tables and chairs were provided which increased the value of the choice. There was a mask requirement indoors (8/23/21) but vaccinated guests with proof could be exempt. While unexpected it did set the right tone for the rest of the weekend and proved a safe gathering. We had a lovely night and were able to utilize the upstairs patio for a band and early meet and greet. The flow was easy from inside to out. There were optional spaces inside if the weather had fouled those plans so there was unnecessary worry about weather. The Skyline room had a good Audio Visual screen and microphone for toasts and a slide show. The parking was easy with no other functions going on during our use. The proximity to downtown and the interstate made getting there easy and inexpensive for guests using uber or lyft from area hotels Many guests although local admitted to being first time visitors and that added to the special feeling of the event. The acoustics through out the inside of the museum was louder than more traditional settings due to the open spaces, or maybe my age but It certainly sounded like a good time was had by all. Despite a years delay due to covid, accommodation to our new date from 8-2020 to 9-21 multiple questions and long distance texting and phone calls, Ryan Ting remained responsive, helpful and positive. My son his bride and all our family are glad that our wedding weekend started off so happily with our event at the Children's Museum of Denver.

We used the Children's Museum of Denver as our wedding ceremony and reception venue and we had the greatest possible experience at every step of the planning process! Ryan Ting and his colleagues were absolutely the best to work with. From day one, Ryan was so attentive and answered all of our many questions, he went above and beyond in so many ways to ensure that our day went super smoothly from allowing us to store our rental items several days ahead to help accommodate another vendor's schedule, to giving us extra space to use, and making sure set up was a total breeze. Ryan is so professional, responsive, and also just genuinely cares about the couples he works with. This venue was also so affordable compared to the other options we looked at and the event spaces we used including the Skyline Gallery, Art Studio, and downstairs patio were amazing and photographed beautifully. We had so many guests (and our photographer!) comment about how awesome and unique the venue was and how it was one of the most unforgettable weddings they had been to. I cannot thank Children's Museum enough for all they did to make our event wonderful! (photo by Alyssa Carpenter)

This place is so amazing. Especially during the pandemic. It isnt crowded at all, especially during the week. You do have to schedule a time or appointment online before you go. You get 1.5 hours of playtime. The have a firetruck, vet area, bubbles , store, water play area, and the outdoors. A few areas were closed. For 2 adults and 1 child it came to $40 but, if you have a Snap card its $3 dollars.
Everything was clean, there are hand sanitizing stations and I saw many employees cleaning.

Great event space! If you are looking for a venue that will connect you with whimsy, joy, and a child-like perspective on the world, then look no further. This venue is fabulous and fun! The event staff are super helpful and stepped up to take care of things we didn't even think about. They were supportive and provided recommendations that were outside their scope too (like hotels and food). Plus, the space is beautiful and professional! Overall, we had a great day learning, networking, and enjoying Children's Museum as part of our professional development.

Wow so ive been here before covid but since rediscovering the museum.i must say im so very impressed!!! The entire building is now handicap accessible. The parking is plentiful. The outside areas are handicap accessible also which was so very nice to be included in my childrens playtime. Usually being a handicap mother I cant participate. The only thing that you could be more helpful was making the doors wide enough to enable bariatric people to get in and out of the restroom easily.
