I chose the Museum's Skyline Gallery in the fall of 2019 for my son's rehearsal dinner .I was looking for a venue to seat as many as 100 guests and additional 35 for a later welcome party portion. It turned out to be the perfect choice. I loved the unique setting, the flexibility of the space and the responsive communication from Ryan Ting from day one. Tables and chairs were provided which increased the value of the choice. There was a mask requirement indoors (8/23/21) but vaccinated guests with proof could be exempt. While unexpected it did set the right tone for the rest of the weekend and proved a safe gathering. We had a lovely night and were able to utilize the upstairs patio for a band and early meet and greet. The flow was easy from inside to out. There were optional spaces inside if the weather had fouled those plans so there was unnecessary worry about weather. The Skyline room had a good Audio Visual screen and microphone for toasts and a slide show. The parking was easy with no other functions going on during our use. The proximity to downtown and the interstate made getting there easy and inexpensive for guests using uber or lyft from area hotels Many guests although local admitted to being first time visitors and that added to the special feeling of the event. The acoustics through out the inside of the museum was louder than more traditional settings due to the open spaces, or maybe my age but It certainly sounded like a good time was had by all. Despite a years delay due to covid, accommodation to our new date from 8-2020 to 9-21 multiple questions and long distance texting and phone calls, Ryan Ting remained responsive, helpful and positive. My son his bride and all our family are glad that our wedding weekend started off so happily with our event at the Children's Museum of Denver.
