Draw blood six times already...they don't know what they are doing to my child.

My 4 year old had dental surgery yesterday the staff was excellent made sure she and I we re comfortable it was a pleasant experience I just didn t like the fact that her appointment was for 9am and she didn t go into the operating room until 12 the wait was kind of long

They told us not to let our son eat or drink after 8 pm the night before his surgery ,he is only 8 yrs old,so we get her for 10 am as we were told and here it is almost 4pm and he still hasnt gone back and hasnt had a drop of water or food sice 8 last night,so we are approaching 20 hrs with no food or liquids and they say if he does drink they will reschedule us, how long must i starve my 8 year old before surgery and why did they do this to him way past his scheduled time.i would not recomend this place to take care of anyone, this is downright ridiculous..

My niece woke up in pain, barely being able to breathe or swallow and with a constant cough. Previous doctors were not able to figure out what was going on and so my sister took her here beings they re supposedly the best. Without even doing any testing, they suggested its a habit cough and suggested speech therapy; which makes no sense and does not explain the extreme pain that she is in. Absolutely ridiculous

The only issue i have is with neurology. My son was prescribed phenobarbital for "seizure activity" that he never even had, and now we can't get in touch with the doctor for his prescriptions to be filled. She is the one who told us if he doesn't get weaned off of it the right way it could kill him. So why not answer the phone? We have had 4 issues with him withdrawling that weve had to go to the ER just to get medicine. He was supposed to be weaned off by 6 months of age. He turned 6 months 2 days ago. Still , the doctor is MIA.

We are still here for another week but I can say this. Everyone from the parking garage to the other side of the hospital where we have to be has been exceptional. I have not seen the level of teamwork in a while & last time was UHC@NO. I am forever grateful & thankful for what this hospital has done & continue to do. 6th floor rocks Also whomever is the pilot of the Children's Hospital Helicopter awesome flying. Beautiful. Once again the entire staff at this hospital went above and beyond my hopes for my granddaughter. We live almost 3 hrs away,the oral surgeon and the dentist (Dr King&Dr. Fournier) took their time working with their teams here were able do help and get the oral care we had been waiting for a year. This is by far the most compassionate and competent entire hospital that keeps family involved with patients care. To the owner know what you have is very unique.

Worst hospital!!!! Too busy forcing mental health down throat's to actually tray patients. Instead they will traumatize your children then bill you for it! I have tanked all my children away from this hospital system. They violate parents rights and children's! Don't do it!!!!

Brung my son here for ear pain he complained about. We were told nothing was wrong with his ear. Brung him to his black pediatrician the next day and was told he had an ear infection. Wowwww

Absolutely miserable experience! We were told to check in at 8am for dental surgery. They were behind so we were told it would be AT LEAST 3-4 more hours. Our Autistic 5 year old doesn t sleep, so we were up all night listening to her cry for food and milk. We stayed in a hotel because we live 1 and a half hours away and had to drive her around New Orleans in the middle of the night to try and take her mind off being so hungry. We ended up having to cancel the surgery because she wasn t going to last that long without food or milk, after going all night without. It s disappointing that a hospital specializing in Children s care can t maintain a timely schedule. Last night was excruciating and the thought of having to do this all over again is unimaginable.

My husband and I consulted my sons on call doctor about his symptoms and we were advised to bring him to the ER. We headed to Children s. We checked in at 9:00pm, by 12:35AM we hadn t even been triaged and I am NOT interested in hearing because of Covid I am not being selfish with my complaint, I was so upset for all of these families and small children sick and up all hours of the night!! This has to stop! It was like Black Friday in the hospital and there was only 1 triage nurse! Unacceptable!!! I have been taking my kids there for the past 16 years and I ve seen this hospital go down every time we go! I keep going and trying to give them a chance, they failed big time!
